Went for lunch and I was very pleased with the atmosphere, cleanliness, and food quality. I ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich ($22) with fries and it was delicious. The Buns were buttered, the sauce perfectly complement the sandwich without overpowering the crab cake... I wish I lived near this restaurant. 🤣

Ocean Blue Restaurant is phenomenal! From the decor, the attentive staff and the amazing food. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch and cocktails. We are looking forward to returning to try their dinner menu.
If you are able to I would highly suggest sitting on the rooftop deck during the evening (sunset) the view is gorgeous!

I had the best shrimp scampi I've ever had. Everything was plated beautifully. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that our Margaritas could have definitely been stronger. Other than that everything was perfect.

Blue Ocean is a gem of a restaurant. From the moment we arrived all staff had smiling faces, were polite and courteous, and ensured everything was in place. (Big shout out to Logan.) The cocktails were excellent, esp. the Tokyo Drift. The food was delicious; flavors, combinations and presentation. It is a great place for lots of gluten-free options. The decor inside is also very nice and well appointed table settings. We can’t wait to visit in the summer.

Outdoor view is amazing - check out the photo. Service is flawless - the waitstaff is well-trained and efficient, polite, but never with an appropriate sense of humor. The food is very good. Our favorites are the ceviche of the day appetizer and the butter cake. Just come willing to spend - 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, 2 dinners, 1 dessert, 2 coffees, tip = $220. From my wife's smile, it was worth every cent.

Such a unique experience and restaurant in Utica. Love their cocktails, fresh seafood & the patio! Perfect for dinner, drinks, brunch or pretty much anything. Always have great service! Highly recommend the loaded fries, butter cake & lobster ravioli. Truly can't stop thinking about how delicious and light the ravioli is!

this is one of our favourite places in utica. we're always impressed with the dishes and well taken care of by the wait staff. whether you're a seafood lover or not, we highly recommend anyone to try it.

Consistently the very best food in the area. Everything I've tried has been fantastic. The Rooftop deck offers very pretty views. Kyle at the bar is top notch, makes a world class old fashioned and is very attentive.

Ocean Blue is an Impressive contemporary restaurant. Located on the second floor, it's bar is convenient yet separate from the dining area. The kitchen and a spotless, well iced raw bar are visible from the dining area. Dining options include booths, tables, banquet and alfresco. Jordan made excellent old fashioneds and provided attentive service. Our tasty oysters were properly shucked and well presented. The shaved sirloin steak sandwich hit the spot and a shared butter cake dessert was sumptuous. A very satisfying experience. We will return for alfresco dining.

I admit I only come here on Easter Sunday, as I am an out of towner. The food is overall very good, with a few selections for those who do not like seafood. I only have minor quibbles, the steak fries were too salty, and a few drink orders got mixed up at the table, but all easily fixed, and with the extra pressure of easter parties, I completely understand.

Great ambiance and location. I saw the restaurant from my hotel and had to try it! I wasn’t disappointed. Their artisanal latte was great, and the lobster bisque was very well prepared. I also had the tabouleh and would recommend it for a light cold meal. I sat inside because it was cold, but they also have an outside patio that looked tempting. This place is a gem in Utica! Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area!

Superb food! Ocean Blue provides some of the best seafood in Utica! The calamari and crab cake are both to die for. The lobster roll is good. The Hit N Run drink is also very delicious. Blue Ocean has a very good Happy Hour which includes half priced specialty drinks and $10 appetizers from 4-7pm everyday. If you are dining outside that timeframe, the prices for meals are on the pricey side. The ambience is very adorable with very clean lines and geometric shapes. I would definitely go back.

Excellent menu options here. The amount of seafood options, is literally the most impressive I've ever seen while traveling. The drinks were fantastic also. The manager and bartender were both great to chat with.

Great atmosphere, wait staff is attentive and the drinks and desserts are amazing! I can't speak for main entrees because we stopped in here with friends after having already eaten elsewhere. The overall vibe of the establishment is pretty awesome. The rooftop seating area is incredibly nice as well.

Went for Sunday brunch and it was great! Love the atmosphere here. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They were very clean as I went during COVID. The drinks were great and I had the lobster roll. It was awesome!!! My friend got a brunch item and he enjoyed it very much as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Recently dined at the Ocean Blue Restaurant in Utica. Nicest restaurant in the area. Beautiful interior in a historic building. A little too cold to drink and eat on the deck but we walked about, just beautiful! In warmer weather it must be the hottest ticket in town!

$$$ prices, but food was worth it. Bar was packed but service for that and food were great. Highly recommended!

A richly appointed roof top restaurant, providing excellent food and service. Large portion appetizers were fan favorites and the Chilean Sea Bass entree was superb. Very clean restrooms and a lively atmosphere. One of the better restaurants in the city.
