Northside Park

We had a great time at the Northside Park today!! The park was very clean & mulch was all raked. All the equipment was well maintained and clean as well!! Thanks to the Village (& I'm guessing the DPW) for all you do to keep our Village family friendly!!

A nice park. Has the most important things, swing set and a slide. Cleaner than most parks we've been to.

This small park in East Rochester serves what looks to be a large apartment complex. The grounds were not very well kept, but there were quite a few rockers, climbing apparatuses, and swings that probably mean more to kids than freshly-cut grass!

The park does have a small pavilion and basketball court. When we visited this park in the Fall of 2012, we came across something very unique: a wheelchair swing! You can check the pictures out below, but essentially it's a swing with a large swinging platform that children who are in wheelchairs can get into.

This park probably won't be your first choice, but it certainly serves a purpose in the community!

I've lived next to it for over 3 years. Some days it's quiet. Other days it has families with young children. Some days it has older kids smoking and fighting. Occasionally police officers walk through the park. It varies greatly day to day what kind of crowd that you will find there.

Very basic but still fun for kids. They will enjoy the playground equipment for sure.
