Love this place! Been here almost two years now and very happy! Upstairs tenants can be sort of loud sometimes but that’s the only issue I’ve had. Maintenance is very timely and manager is personable and responsive. Very fair rent and heat included. My two cats love their patio and rare sightings of beautiful cranes! ❤ Definitely a STEAL!

P. S. Anyone interested in applying or setting up a showing, I would recommend emailing the office instead of calling. I had no issues that way.

Amazing place!!! I've lived here for over a year now, and the building manager has always been very responsive and kind. I have never had issues with management whatsoever, and the property is maintainted well. Maintenance requests are fulfilled very promptly and it is not a hassle to get things replaced if warranted. Rent is affordable and heat & water are included! The apartments are also extremely spacious, with a great large balcony. Other residents are very respectful and I have never had any issues with noise. There is a great walking path behind the buildings, and it is about 2 minutes away from Sunset shopping area!

I like living here .. I was scared because of all the bad reviews .. but it’s super nice and quiet! The grass and yard work get done weekly .. the maintenance man responds quickly ... my refrigerator went out and he was over in less than 15 minutes .. I have no problems .. the only problem I do have is the not answering the phone but once I email on my online portal they get back to me right away ..!

I've been trying to schedule a showing for a few weeks now. They finally got a hold of me yesterday and we scheduled a showing at 12pm. We went to the rental office and no one was there. And now they are not answering me anymore. I was really interested and ready to start renting, but I cant do so if no one answers.

Lived here a good amount of time. I can back up what everyone else is saying. Buildings are poorly maintained, rent checks are cashed seemingly at random, you may send it 4 days before it is due and they don't cash it for 20 days. Then the next check they cash immediately, hitting you for 1600 over a three day window. Management is impossible to get a hold of, maintenance is non-existent.

My garbage disposal broke and wasn't fixed for over a year! They also do not clean often, and the lawns goes weeks without being cut. There are spiders and ants everywhere, and you have to go outside to use the laundry units, which require 4 quarters each, and often do not work. The hallways smell bad, and the walls are paper thin. The carpet is also not "plush" as they describe, but cheap carpet you buy in bulk for 10 cents a square foot.

Also the building I am in is seemingly haunted, as my bedroom door rattles violently like someone is trying to get in, my wall gets knocked on despite the fact that the other side is my living room and I am in a corner so there is no one beyond that. I have also had objects move right in front of me.

Whoever rents here I wish you good luck. Nothing gets fixed, my garbage disposal busted and instead of getting someone out there when it happened had to wait 2 days until Wednesday when the maintenance guy is there. Thats just one example out of five. When I first moved everything ran smoothly and was done immediately. New landlord Ashley stepped in it all went to hell. Rent is due no later than the 5th of the month. Better hope she isn't sick because she won't deposit that check till she feels better. 3 times she took my rent check out on day 20 of the month. She doesn't have an office. I take that back she does but you have to go to an ice hockey rink in brookfield and there is a small room where she works out of. Laundry room is always broken. It's either one washer is down for a week or one dryer is down for a week. If you call her to get stuff done good luck getting a call back at all. This place sucks and you should never rent here.

Spent a year and a half here. Lived on the second floor and it sucked having to go outside, down some stairs, and back into the building to do my laundry. Any general maintenance was a pain to get down. Rent checks seemed to be deposited randomly once they were mailed in. A new manager has just started as I am on my way out. Maybe she can be more useful than the last.

I am a former tenant of 1895 Haymarket Rd, in waukesha. (Fox Point Village Apartments) Not only was our time of occupancy horrible, but it was downright unacceptable. we had an unexpected entry in our unit with no notification from our "landlord". I use quotation marks because she is a poor excuse for a landlord. when I inquired about why there was no notification of the visit, she replied with, ,oh, I thought I had mentioned it to you.' And brushed it off like it wasnt a violation of our renters agreement. Additionally, there was a very large water break right above our storage unit, and I had tried to callthe emergency maintenance line, there was no response. After a long weekend we returned to find our lock on the unit broken and several boxes stepped on and moved around our storage unit. I tried to contact our "landlord", with no success I gave
up. Not only was our experience horrible, the living conditions were terrible as well. Multiple times, in one day I might add, the fire alarms would sound periodically. causing the tenants to evacuate the building and wait for the fire department to arrive. After which I was told that the fire alarm system was turned off due to its malfunction. Sounds safe, right? In addition, there was quite a bit of mold starting to form around our ceiling vent in the bathroom and right around our shower. Quite a pleasant site to look at when You are showering.
so, now that we have moved out, the extremely unprofessional service continues! | had contacted our "landlord", Ashley, several weeks before our move out date. Once to drop off our move out notice (60 days prior) and second, to determine when we could get our move out packet. The packet that includes a cleanliness checklist and other important information about our move out. The "landlord" Ashley, confirmed with me that she would be by to drop the packet off within that next week. She did not. still to this day I do not have this mysterious packet. so we went about our business and cleaned the apartment to our standards thinking that once we got this packet, we would compare and complete whatever else was needed. Our move out date, Oct. 31't 2016, came around and we had all of our belongings out. Days went by and I had left the "landlord", Ashley, several voicemails in
regards to schedule our final walk through. No response. One week went by, same thing, I left multiple voicemails for her and there was literal radio silence.
So here we are, 15 days after we are supposed to be out of this apartment and still no response, no direction, and no returned security deposit. After calling 30+ times, I receive a text message saying that everything in the apartment looks good and that she would mail us or deposit back if she could have our forwarding address. I am astonished that this is how she would choose to handle this situation after all of the voicemails I left for her. She didn't address my frustration, there was no apology for how long this has drug on. I seriously don't understand why, as a business, you would choose to have such a poor business woman, someone so lazy and inattentive, and frankly, rude and disrespectful working for you, in a managerial position no less. I had such a miserable experience living there and lwill share this with everyone I can in hopes of saving others this misery. Please do not consider renting here, or any sequoia real estate owned property.

My boyfriend and I tried applying here. Awful place and very glad we didn't get in! Applying was a pain and they require a security deposit unfront when you turn in an application. I mentioned to Rachel the girl who manages the office for the actual manager, that I had recently quit my job, but also explained I can go back at any time, I'm just not on the schedule. She told the manager I quit and wasn't going back so the manager refused to count BOTH our incomes like she should have. The manager was very difficult to reach so I assume that's why shes rated at 1 star on here is because she lives up to the reputation. Also my boyfriends old landlord wouldn't sign release papers due to a pending court case so the manager unfairly turned us down due to someone elses choice. We always paid rent on time, and never missed a month but still we were turned down. The apartment was very old looking in the inside and again management is awful! Definetly deserves a 1 star! My advice, be careful what you say because even if it's not in writing, they'll hold it against you. I would not recommend renting from here. Youre better off moving onto bigger better things else where. Awful awful awful!!

I had made an appointment with Fox Point Village for an apartment showing at noon on Monday through phone contact with their manager. My roommate and I showed up at noon and there was no one there at the office. I texted the number that I had made the appointment through and even tried calling them to see if they were running late but I could not get in contact with them. After waiting 30 minutes, my roommate and I decided to leave because no one showed up at the office. Later that night I emailed the manager in an attempt to reschedule and she still has not gotten back to me. I am astonished by the lack of professionalism with this management. It is clear that they do not care about their public relations and do not even have the decency to provide an explanation as to why they did not show up. Best of luck to anyone trying to rent from this place!

I don’t even live here but i felt the need to warn people; this apartments is advertising on apartments.com - it was a decent price. So i called, left voicemails. No response. I’ve called & left voicemails multiple times to set up a showing, but i have not gotten a call back. I’d have to imagine if this place isn’t on the ball when it comes to taking people’s money & signing then into a lease, they probably aren’t on the ball when it comes to the tenants either. I was already hesitant about this place given the reviews, but i figured to take a look for myself. But since they can’t even return a phone call, forget it. Maybe it’s a blessing is disguise that they never called me back; i’ll be looking elsewhere.

I showed up early for my scheduled appointment for a tour. The manager Ashley was no where to be found. I waited 45 minutes and even called, however, the voicemail machine was conveniently full and wasn't accepting new messages. I promptly emailed her back while I was there and to this day I have not received a single phone call or email. I tried calling a few days later and same thing. It's been a month. Extremely unprofessional.

Don’t move here. The phone is never answered, ever. Good luck with maintenance too. Read the other reviews and you’ll see a lot of the issues that seem to reoccur with everyone. 3/4 of the buildings are vacant due to the landlord never answering the phone.

It was great when I moved in two years ago, now I've been trying to get ahold of management for 6 months so I can move out but no one will call or email back ever. Done rent here ever
