Perlo's Restaurant

Came in by myself, sat at the bar, since it was my first time here I asked a few questions and was helped by samantha the bartender who knew the menu well. I ordered the new york strip with linguine and red sauce as the side. I was advised that the red sauce was smooth as I do not like chunks of tomatoes and it was exactly as described. The steak was cooked to the temp asked for. I can not say any bad things about here and I was pleasantly surprised to see the owner on premises interacting with guests. Definitely worth stopping by.

We’ve been to Perlo’s several times and have always heard great things about them. This time, we chose to have a 10-person business meeting and dinner at Perlo’s. We worked out the details with Donna and she made our accommodations perfect. We had the entire private back room to ourselves and we were allowed to meet while enjoying a few cocktails and appetizers followed by a fantastic meal. The servers were well attentive and professional. They exceeded our needs and made for an excellent evening of business and pleasure. We highly recommend Perlo’s and will definitely be back. I had the Haddock Casino which was fantastic.

I went with my co workers for a nice meet up and it was great! The place is beautiful, the service was excellent, everyone was super nice and the food tasted great! I'm gluten intolerant and I got their gluten free penne with bolognese sauce and a meatball, the meatball is not gluten free, but I wanted to try it anyways. I'm not sure if this dish is celiac friendly, but I didn't get sick and I enjoyed it very much. It was a great time there! ❤

Great staff. Food was delicious. There was 4 of us, all had different meals, not a complaint. Kept both water and bread full. Good desserts as well. Would eat there again for sure. Plenty of parking for those interested in that stuff

We were here for their Thanksgiving dinner service. The turkey was good, along with all the sides.

My son got the pasta, didn't love it. Said it was very bland. Surprising for an Italian restaurant.

My dad got the salmon, he said it was good, but could have used lemon.

The service was highly coordinated, very quick, but so quick that our table was never served rolls.

Also, for the fast turnover of tables for the holiday, I think the drinks were less potent than normal to prevent people from sitting and having a few cocktails after dinner.

All-in-all, it was a nice change from the normal Turkey Day.

Shared a wonderful meal with friends. I haven't been there in a few years but after that meal we're going again soon. I had the special lobster French... WOW

Took my family and a friend for dinner on Easter Sunday. They offered their full regular menu plus Easter specials. Unlike many other places, they DID NOT INFLATE THEIR PRICES! Definitely a five star operation!!!

Classic Italian meals eaten early with a Fish Fry Friday. Regulars enjoying their meals with the whole family. Not crowded later if you miss the early crowd. Satisfying.

Had a great meal there. The calamari was breaded to perfect. The risotto balls were delicious. All four entrees were huge and did not disappoint.

There is a high probability that you’ll see SOMEONE you know as soon as you enter the building. One of the owners will most likely greet you at the door and invite you to the bar or host stand to be seated in one of many dining areas. Donna and Brian (owners) are so kind and personable which helps to create a comfortable, homey atmosphere. I dined in with my family after 5 years of being out of state, and the experience absolutely stellar. Our server, Anthony, was charismatic and hilarious; he was making us laugh throughout the entire meal while also maintaining a professional manner. The timing of appetizer, entrée, and dessert was wonderful, and the food was perfect. We ordered the veal parm, lobster French, and orecchiette. I would have finished my dish if I didn’t load up on the delicious bread and garlic oil! One manager politely asked how we were doing during our meal, and we had a chance to chat with both Donna and Brian before leaving. The community here makes me miss Rochester so much!

The most authentic Italian I've had in the area. Donna is so iconic and such a team player with her Staff! It's refreshing to see an owner assisting in service and the food was delicious of course 😋

This place is a hidden gem in East Rochester! We were quickly greeted and luckily seated. I had forgotten to make a reservation, so we were lucky. You should make a reservation because it’s clear this place is known by family and friends of the owner and fills up! The owner was walking around talking to several people. It was clear she has several regulars and she knows them well. We had great service. Our food was delicious! Great portion sizes as well! We would have loved to get a dessert, but we were so full! Can’t wait to go back!

Veal saltimbocca was delicious. Chicken French was not bad but have had much better. We will go back for sure.

They did an awesome job, for my Uncle Ricky's birthday. Donna Perlo came how to visit us and said hello. Very very nice woman. Thank you very much. I would recommend this place to anybody and everybody.

We had the pure pleasure of hosting a memorial dinner for a passed loved one at Perlo’s. As a family, we could not have been happier. The setting, management, atmosphere, food and staff could not have been more perfect. The attention to detail and their true care in making our evening was top shelf ! There was not a single detail that they held back on. Our entire party could not have been more impressed. We do look forward to coming back. Thank you so much for making our evening so special.

Perlo's is a very authentic Italian restaurant where you're treated like "their" family throughout your stay. Was with a large group, and the service was excellent. Family style service made me feel at home.

Good food. Waitress, Nikki, was kind and very attentive, funny too! Beautiful place. Would go there again.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner. It was very crowded, but they handled the crowd efficiently. We had prime rib, which was very good, and pumpkin pie 🥧 which was included in the price of dinner. Great food and service, we will go back

Beautiful restaurant with a huge menu of homemade Italian favorites. A lot of locals and friendly customers and staff.
