Unfortunately, the house did not sell in a hot market the first week of listing. No problem...the team met and gathered information from the showings and in turn shared the information so that the house will sell. Due to being a house built in the 70's was "dated". With the recommendations of staging and painting the paneling in one room the house sold immediately. This team knows how to sell houses and highly recommend them to sell your house. They initially came over to our home and offered some great suggestions on simple improvements that we could do ourselves before putting our house on the market. We recommend Jennifer Hupke and Mariah Marquardt for their exceptional level of customer service. I have had an interest in World Class Excellence in Customer Service since the early 1980’s and developed four characteristics to measure such encounters.
Characteristic 1: The mechanical/technical aspects of the experience.
Were the mechanics of the encounter such that the process of two people being able to communicate was maximized? Since the majority of my original interactions with the Hupke team have been through emails I have not had to deal with the majority of those types of problems: automated menus, various audio problems, etc.
However, there is one characteristic this team has demonstrated that stands uniquely by itself since I began appreciating excellence in customer service: diligence/ persistence. The diligence and persistence of the Hupke team in reaching out periodically, not only to touch base to see where we are at in the process, but also to share holiday wishes or items of information, stands unique in the 50 years I have been considering this subject.
The comparison between this characteristic and the majority of my frustrating attempts to even make contact with other organizations over the years is like a diamond on black velvet. This is all the more true when I consider we are just normal people in a normal neighborhood.
Characteristic 2: The representative’s knowledge/response
Was the person(s) I was speaking with able to understand my problem or need, even if I did not use the right terminology to do so? Then, did they possess the knowledge and capability to help address my issue? Did they know what to do? Did they “delightfully surprise” me by going above and beyond in taking the initiative to address my concern(s)?
Here again, I found the Hupke team to exceed my expectations. It was as if they could read our minds as they were prepared to speak to specific concerns we had and gave us some very wise advice.
Characteristic 3: The “Cheers Factor.”
The third aspect is what I have come to call “The Cheer’s Factor.” You know the TV show from the 1980’s, “Where everybody knows your name.” Like a diamond on black velvet, my many negative examples only serve as a contrast to the level of customer service provided by the Hupke team. Because of the contrast with such experiences, I became committed to acknowledging encounters that “shine like a diamond on black velvet.” Our experience with the Hupke team was such an experience.
Bottom line because of my experiences, I have learned to ask:
• Do I come away thinking, “WOW! What a delightful experience?”
• Do I come away with a positive disposition of their company?
• Am I left with the perception of looking forward to the opportunity to deal with their company again?
• Am I left with a conviction their company places value on the customer?
• Am I “delightfully surprised?”
For our experience with the Hupke team to all these questions I answer YES! Our customer service experience with Jennifer and Mariah at RE/MAX left us more than “delightfully surprised.”
Characteristic 4: “Service as a ministry”
It is just within the past year I have identified a new criteria: “customer service as a ministry.” Does the person(s) providing the service transcend the normally expected boundaries of customer service to make it clear they are concerned for the best interest in their customer(s) and not just their bottom line or sales/measurement statistics?
This became so clear to me during our meeting that I declared, “Who are you, and what did you do with the realtors?” Jennifer Hupke’s response was along the lines of, “Yes, I could make a sale of your home, but would that meet your needs?” She went on to state she and her company take the long view of real estate. By understanding and seeking to meet the real needs of her customer(s) she is able to really succeed as a realtor. That is customer service as a ministry.

We absolutely LOVED working with the Hupke Team. Kim Acompanado was our agent and she was FANTASTIC. She listened to us, was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we were looking in and honest with expectations in a crazy market. She always made time for us and was available in a moments notice to look at homes. She found the house we ended up purchasing in an area we were not even looking, but she knew we would love (and we do!!!!). We will absolutely be doing business again with Kim and the Hupke Team! Jennifer Hupke's team provided outstanding service in selling my mother's condo on Wind Point in Racine, Wisconsin. We mainly worked with Trisha Vinz, who was a cheerful and businesslike salesperson. The Team had all the connections and channels necessary to put the condo up for sale. We received an asking-price offer within five days of the property going on the market. The purchasers had trouble getting financing and delayed closing three times, but Trisha proved herself a strong negotiator, and the sale finally closed in early July, '22. Thank you, Trisha (& the Hupke Team)! Despite the delays, it was a relatively painless and profitable experience.

What can I say about Jennifer and her team other than they are amazing!!! My husband and I had to relocate from TX to WI for his job and had a short time to do it.Throw in the fact this was during the height of the pandemic with stay at home orders for both our states and me having recently given birth was going to make for an interesting process. To avoid exposure my husband and I decided to stay in TX for the whole process which meant we were going to be buying a house without ever seeing it in process. House hunting in my opinion is always a stressful experience and this just turned up the dial.

Jennifer was amazing in helping us narrow down the areas best suited for our family as we had never visited the area and had no idea where to look. She also made sure to sure when sending us the listings that the pictures were detailed enough to give us a good idea. Then for the showings she Facetime with us showing us the properties, talking us through the home giving us details about the property that the video might miss and making sure we had a good idea of what the property would do for our family.

We were able to find us a home quickly and she helped us tailor our offer and work through the negotiation process smoothly so that it was accepted. After our offer was accepted her team was thrown for a loop when our house in TX had some issues with its buyer. She made sure working with us and the seller in WI that it didn't affect the sale and that we were still able to close and not lose the house. She was also able to recommend a great lender who were able to get a good rate with and a handyman who was able to get a crew in immediately after we closed and paint the whole house before we moved in. She even arranged a way to help us get to know our neighbors that I had not seen other realtors do before that was so sweet.
