Love the care and compassion provided at Westown Veterinary Clinic! The staff are friendly and positive individuals that you would want to have an every day conversation with. The Veterinarians are very knowledgeable and professional. I have full trust in their ability to care for my fur babies.

Last night, 11/16/2023, I took my companion of 13 years and best friend Finnigan to Westown Vet for his last visit. Over the prior few weeks I finally became aware of how severe his age was impacting him cognitively and physically, and understood it was time. This killed me, utterly. Through thick and thin, my boy was at my side. Anyhow, from initial scheduling through to last night, the care and compassion, understanding and empathetic conversations and explanation offered by ALL the staff I encountered at Westown was over and above expectations.

My pups have gone here for years, but this was the first visit I've had here, for these purposes (thankfully). And the service and tenderness from Reception through techs and the doc herself were...more empathetic than I could have dreamed.

I was a total mess, blubbering and bawling, tears and snot, and there was never a sense of revulsion at me presentation, much less the slightest admittance that this singular moment for me was anything less than that for them.

I guess what I am saying is that while the big sleep comes for us all, and in a vet clinic it's a daily exercise...it was treated as if it was the first time they'd ever dealt with it, emotionally, by the staff at Westown. To do this, treat a loss like this as personal and unique, takes more than training and skill. It takes a kind eye and innate consideration for others, true empathy, which all the staff at this clinic have in spades.

A day later and as rational thought steps back in little by little, it felt exceptionally important to get this message out there; less a review and more a commendation for how they cared for both me and my boy. Rest easy, big boy. And thank you Westown for allowing his passing and my explosive emotions to be treated respectfully and kindly.

I love Westown vet. We have been going for a few years. They recently moved to a beautiful new office. Very clean. The doctors and techs are so nice. They never pressure me into five different shots for my cat. I tell them what I need and they do it. That is my number one reason I go to them. They are also one of the most affordable vets I have been to. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks Westown Vet!

They got me in immediately when I had an emergency and were absolutely wonderful. Their office was clean, conveniently located and had parking close to the door. The guy at the reception desk was awesome! Sooo super nice and compassionate to both myself and my dog. I waited less than a min before being taken to an exam room. The vet tech instantly made me feel comfortable with her handling and treatment of my dog and handled the chaos (of my scared and hurting dog barking nonstop which then caused my toddler daughter to began crying loudly while I tried explaining the issue several times over all of the noise ) with patience and grace. ( I felt soooo bad 🤦‍♀) The Vet Tech & Dr answered every question and concern i had, were caring and kind and most importantly, got my dog the treatment she so badly needed, even including a detailed "at home" care instruction sheet that further answered any questions I thought of after getting home. I highly recommend this place and am so happy I found them.

I have a one year old Chinese Crested Miniature Dachshund who was having urinary issues. It was just crazy how fast things went downhill.

My little guy had been peeing a little bit of blood for a day or two before we went to WVRC. We had an ultra sound done there, and that came back with flecks of crystals, but he was stable, and we took him home while I found a primary vet for him.

We had another appointment a few days later with his now primary vet who did a urine test on a friday. By Monday night, he wasn't peeing at all and just couldn't get comfortable. Tuesday morning at 3 a.m., my dog came into my room crying and cuddling into my legs. I felt his abdomen because he kept showing me his belly, and his bladder was SO extremely tight. He was whimpering and miserable. I knew something was extremely wrong.

I called WVRC in waukesha, and they said it would be a 2-3 hour wait and to call their sister clinic in grafton. So, I called grafton, who also said 2-3 hours. I opted to wait until 8 am. and call his primary, which turned out to be closed. I called WVRC again, and they gave me some suggestions on emergency vets. I called 2 places and was turned away, unfortunately.

I then called Westown and told them what was going on, and they gave me a 9:15 am appointment immediately. We arrived early and they took us to a room.

The tech talked with us and let us know what she was doing and why every step of the way. The doctor came in and started to check him over, but when she felt his bladder, he yelped in pain.

Everything was like a whirlwind after that. They whisked him away for xrays that showed a big stone blocking his bladder off. They told me my options and gave me an estimate. I signed off on the surgery, and he went in to have it done. I did have to call for updates as I know they're busy, and I appreciate the work they're doing, so that didn't bother me.

My dog was very near death, and I was scared out of my mind. I had a panic attack in the exam room, but everyone was very understanding and helpful.

They wanted to monitor him as his surgery was very invasive, so I didn't get to take him home until 3 pm. Wednesday afternoon.

They sent me home with meds, a blanket, a cone, two adorable jerseys, and lots of the prescription food he'll be on from now on.

They worked with me on the bill and were just amazing. I can't say enough good things about this veterinarian office.

For those who have posted bad reviews solely based on the prices, shame on you. These people do a very hard job and they're very good at it. If it wasn't for this clinic my dog may have died.

Milo always has a great experience when going to the clinic. It doesn't matter which Vet he sees they take such great care of him. They are always prompt and the staff is pleasant and welcoming. I always feel that they very attentive to Milo's needs. Even though we have moved further away we will make the drive to have him seen at this clinic.

I switched to Westown Vet a year after moving to Wisconsin. They’ve been fantastic with my dog. Our normal visits are great but they really excel at the unfortunate visits that we hate to happen. Yesterday I walked in thinking we were headed towards another procedure and they were able to make it a simple visit. The professionalism is top notch! The new location is gorgeous and spacious.

My little horse (Great Dane) & I just relocated from L.A. This was the 1st vet we tried. These guys were great. (Annnd The vet tech is a Great Dane owner! Yeeeaaaaaye!🤜💥🤛 BIG fist bump!!)
Also, Im beyond elated that for the 1st time EVER my bill was under $1000! Actually under $500! Thats just unheard-of in Los Angeles & Ive seen almost 1/2 of the vets out there! Needless to say,(but I will!) These guys are totally reasonable! Would I recommend them? TOTALLY!

Visited Westown for the first time to have Larry neutered. Everyone was very pleasant and caring. Also appreciated the follow up texts. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Very pleased with my experience at Westown. This is not my normal vet but my cat got sick on a holiday weekend. I was sure I would have to take her to the emergency clinic as no other places are open on Sundays. I didn’t want to wait until Tuesday when I googled and saw that they were open-I called and explained the situation and they said they would take her. I made the hour drive and am extremely grateful I did. The entire staff was kind, professional, accommodating- and most importantly, after many tests they determined what was causing my kitty to be so sick and she is now on the mend and feeling much better. Thank you!

We’ve been clients of Westown for over 2 years now and hands down are the best ones in the area. They always care so much about our dogs and they have an amazing customer service. Our dogs LOVE to go visit them all the time too!

I cannot say enough about this amazing practice! One of our dogs was very sick yesterday and my vet could not be bothered to see him ( even though they were open )- Westown got us in as new patients and helped him tremendously! We are leaving our current vet and switching all of our animals to Westown- just a great place!!!!

Westown clinic is amazing! They are very patient and gives you a warm and welcoming feeling. Instead of demanding things that needs to be done, they let you know if there are other options available and it’s well appreciated. They make sure that they reach out to you the following day to check in on your pet, which is beautiful ! Thank you so much!

I’ve been taking my rescue, Winnie, here since I got her over three years ago. Staff are really wonderful, we are always able to get appointments easily (well visits and sick visits - including allergies, nail trimming, stool sample drop off, etc) and the clinic is always clean. The app is really nice for keeping track of all health needs as well!

We started seeing them at the end of life for our 1st dog Buddy. He lived 2 years with their careful care. When we lost him, the vet office was very compassionate. We continue to take our 2 cats and new dog there. We are always treated kindly, prices are reasonable, and treatment needs are well explained.

I cannot express my feelings of content enough with West town. Every time I've been in a emergency situation they've been there for me. Nowadays with all the stress and fast-paced life, people don't seem as kind and patient as they used to be, WestTown is the exception! Their staff and doctors are some of the kindest most patient people I've dealt with in a long time. Thank you very much Westtown!!

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Their love of animals is very apparent and we always feel taken care of and never rushed. I love the follow-up text messages after our dog had surgery asking how he was doing!

I took my Baby there and the Nurse Vanessa was Awesome & the Dr was just as Great as she was. I appreciate the time they took with me and how they treated my Baby. They were thorough in explaining everything I needed to know about my Baby & her treatment. Everyone helped , what’s even more remarkable…. They WANTED to help me.
