I cannot say enough high praise for Eye Care for Animals. While I hope you never need their services-I HIGHLY recommend them if you do., I’m so grateful that there is such a highly skilled, state of the art, kind, patient and experienced place like this available. Dr. Gunderson, Heather, Amanda, Lisa, Carly- the entire team here are the top on their field and it shows. They have saved my dogs eyesight and have taken my panicked phone calls with calm assistance 24/7- I mean nights, weekends, whenever I have called they have helped me without hesitation and have been SO kind. . I don’t think my dog would be alive today without them and she for sure would be fully blind. Thank you so much to everyone at eye care for animals Pewaukee.

Grateful for the care at Eye Care for Animals! They always take such great care of our dog, Paisley, and educate me throughout the process. So thankful for their care and support.

They are always so quick to get my fur baby in for his issues. Lisa is AWESOME! And Dr Gunderson and her techs are always so caring and keep me well informed. Kudos to a excellent treatment facility.

Quick update to our previous review. The procedure was completed on Feb 14. After a month our dogs eye has healed and cleared so his sight is almost back to normal. It continues to improve as the cornea heals and clears. Can not say enough positive things about DMV Erin Gunderson and her staff. They have been terrific with our pet and also with us.

We were able to schedule an appt within a few days and found the location without any problems. The Dr and staff were excellent. Confirmed the issue with our pet's eye and scheduled the necessary procedure within a week of our appt. Could not be happier so far with the service and professionalism of this practice.

My cat just had intricate eye surgery yesterday. Initially, I went to one veterinary specialist and I wanted a second opinion with Eye Care for Animals. It was so worth it! Dr. Gunderson is very calm, very thorough, and definitely very knowledgeable. Plus, as their name suggests, they are specialized in animal eye care and that is what their cases are all day, every day. :) Every team member I encountered there was very kind, skilled, and a pleasure to talk with, including Lisa, Amanda, Heather, and Tracie. The office is especially clean and organized as well. :) If you need specialized eye care for your pet, I highly recommend Eye Care for Animals.

This clinic and staff are wonderful. I was so nervous about my cat-baby going in for consult and then surgery. After each visit I was relieved and happy about the care they gave here. Dr. Collins is awesome! He is very personable and obviously cares for my pet's comfort and happiness (as well as for other pets' I'm sure). His explanations of my cat's status and prognosis were understandable and straight forward. All the other customer service reps and techs I came across were friendly and professional. The tech even knew how to handle my wiggly, impatient cat in a kind way. The lobby and rooms smell and look clean. Overall very happy client/customer/patient. This may sound like a dramatic review, but I'm truly grateful for this place and the service my cat I received.

I felt my dog was given the best care possible. We made a tough decision to have our dog's eye removed but we were supported every step of the way. Dr. Gunderson is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I would highly recommend Dr. Gunderson and Eye Care for Animals.

Have been taking my pet here for nearly 4 years. The whole staff is extremely nice and pleasant to work with. The doctors are knowledgeable and it feels like they genuinely care about what's best for my pet. It's a little more expensive than my normal vet, but I think it's reasonable considering they're specialized in animal eye care, which is evident in their expertise and specialized equipment. Would recommend to anyone with animals experiencing eye issues.

I had taken my dog in to his vet on a Saturday, they found something was wrong with his eyes and recommended we see the Eye Care for Animals team in order to save his eyesight and prevent further damage. I called them the same day, and they were able to get me an emergency appointment on Monday. The team was so gentle with my dog and my concerns, we are on the road to getting his condition under control. My dog is back to his sassy and playful self. Not only that, but they found a heart murmur that his regular vet hadn’t even noticed in the year that I had taken him there constantly!!! We look forward to working with this team.

Dr. Gunderson and her staff are the best! She has cared for our Basset Hound’s glaucoma. She has earned my most strongest recommendation!

I recently went to Eye Care for Animals for my kitty who had developed cancer in one of her eyes. First and foremost, the front staff - Jenny and Lisa - are amazing. So sweet, compassionate and calm despite my questions and nerves over multiple calls and visits. Dr. Collins was amazingly compassionate and I know did everything we could for my little girl. I would highly recommend. There's no consolation to losing a pet but having such a caring staff behind care made a huge difference.

They were absolutely wonderful! My dog had gotten a thorn in her cornea while hunting, and she has no vision loss! I hope to never come here again, but it'd be my place of choice in an emergency!

Amazing service, I was provided so much knowledge I left there confident about my boy's condition. I knew what it was, what to expect, and what to do. Additionally, the staff handled his wild personality so well and gently. Youd think he was the most well behaved husky pup ever. They're pricing wasnt overboard either. It was exactly what I was quoted before we walked through the door and before the exam. I was so impressed especially during a stressful time.

Poppet loves Dr Gunderson. She does miss Dr Collins singing her name to the Devo “Whip It” song, however. Thanks for all you do to keep Poppet’s glaucoma under control. She’s got a great quality of life.

AMAZING place. I am so happy this establishment exists. They are experts in eye care. I had 3 vet opinions before I came here. The Doctor at Eye Care for Animals knew exactly what my cat's eye condition was within minutes. He also spent a lot of time with me and ensured I understood what my cat's diagnosis meant.

The doctor and staff are taking great care of my dog since he went blind. They have been very informative and helpful through this traumatic time. I appreciate them immensely!

Excellent service for the animals they even are doing a consultation for my dog's eye so he can have the best care until his appointment in May. I'm very thankful for that
