Acme the Appliance Store

We just purchased a dishwasher from Acme. It came within a week and was installed today. The installers were knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They were quick and even let us take a moment to clean when the old unit was removed. We are thrilled with our experience with this company so far. Thank you, Acme!!!

Made semi truck delivery. I called and was allowed to park overnight. Not much place, only room for one truck. Very nice people. I was unloaded very fast by the owner and associate.

Friendly informative salesman. Bought my replacement refrigerator in 10 minutes. Delivery within a few days. Removal of my old frig is included.

Purchased what we expect to be the last appliances we will ever need for the rest of our lives from Acme. We wanted local and someone who would like to satisfy the customer. The refrigerator, gas stove with built-in overhead microwave, clothes washer and dryer all were removed and the new items were installed without an issue. The built-in dishwasher was more challenging. Acme worked with me, allowing us the ability to have a plumber come in and look for alternatives. In the end, our best result was to get a smaller dishwasher from Acme. Did I mention that they came back out and installed it for no charge. It's been a few weeks now and we are very pleased.

Service and prices are great. I have purchased multiple appliances from Acme. Only one fridge on the market fits in my kitchen and they found and installed it at a price comparable to the big box stores.

My dishwasher that I purchased at Acme 13 years ago gave up the ghost. It is 30 inches high which is not a normal size. Most dishwashers are 34 or 35 inches high. I talked to Lowes & Homedepot & none of them had a 30 inch high dishwasher. I called Acme & sure enough they had a 30 inch high GE dishwasher that they could deliver next week. I am thrilled.
In 2010 my husband bought our Jenn Air grill, washer & dryer from Acme. All our working well. The dishwasher gave up but after 13 years. The box stores only carry a group of standardized appliances. When you need help call Acme or go visit. You will be happy, I'm sure.

Several homeowners in my community recommended ACME. Most of the owners had purchased several appliances from ACME. I purchased a Whirlpool, side by side, stainless steel refrigerator/freezer with water in the door. I purchased it on Monday. It was delivered and installed on Thursday Their staff were polite and competent. They removed my old refrigerator and hauled it away. I am delighted with my purchase and their service. I am returning to ACME on Tuesday for a new garbage disposal.

After 15 years with a washer we bought at Acme, it finally died.
My wife and I went back to Acme today 12/7/20 and purchased a used washer in great shape.

Just had a great experience. My 17 year old gas range died and I needed a new one fast. Called Acme the Appliance store, purchased a new gas range in stock, arranged delivery and had item delivered in just over 24 hours! Throw in free delivery, free connection, free haul away of old range and two great delivery guys who were above professional in their service and you've got a happy camper!! I'd highly recommend Acme the Appliance store and their team of professionals to anyone!!

Great experience, replaced a cheap whirlpool that I had to fix every couple months with Speedqueen that has a proper agitator and runs like a Mercedes. Highly recommend ACME.

After our 3 year old LG refrigerator stopped working and the local repair shop said it wasn't able to be fixed we checked all over western New York with no luck. We called and spoke with Dan who described what he had available. Not only was it one we were interested in he matched the lowest price of big box stores and discounted it more when we said we would pick it up. In addition he also stayed open late to allow us time to make the hour long trip to Jamestown. When he heard about our situation with our LG refrigerator he even offered to have another repairman see if it could be fixed - at no additional charge. Definitely be doing business with Acme in the future!

I called Acme from a recommendation. I had purchased a washer and dryer from Sears who only delivers to my area on Tuesdays. Tuesday came and the delivery never happened. My renters were mad. I called Acme and they helped me choose over the phone. I have a very small laundry area, bassically a closet, and could only buy smaller dimension units. Acme had 3 choices. They could deliver that day! The price was a little less than Sears and delivery and haul away were included. Such a pleasant experience. Thank you, Acme.

Purchased a new refrigerator from them 4 years ago when our old just quit, out of the blue. No one in the Jamestown/Lakewood area could get us a new fridge delivered in less than 3-5 days, but Acme Appliance did. They delivered our new fridge, the exact model we wanted, the very next day and took our old fridge away with them. It was a terrific experience. The salesman answered all our questions and everything they promised was delivered.
Today, my mother-in-law's fridge died and I told her to skip everyone else and go directly to Acme. She called them early this morning, they were in and available before their published store hours, so she went right to their showroom, found that they carried the make and model that she wanted, so she ordered the new refrigerator on the spot and when she asked when they could deliver it they told her, within 2 hours. And it was 2 hours. They took her old fridge away and essentially turned what could have been a mini-disaster for her into a very pleasant experience!
I cannot say enough great things about Acme Appliance Store, they definitely have my business for life!

Purchased a dishwasher in November 2016, and a washing machine in May 2017. In both instances the pricing was very competitive (compared to Home Depot, Lowe's and on-line search), the delivery, removal, installation, was very quick and convenient, and in general a very good experience.
