Allen Street Diner

Enjoyed a perfectly folded mushroom Swiss omelette with my morning coffee fix. This place lives up to its impeccable Google review reputation. Fun chatty owner, warm inviting dining area and a kitchen that delivers.

Nice little diner! I had the French onion soup burger which was very flavorful, burgers are freshly prepared and the French fries were hand cut and delicious! My friend had the patty melt and she enjoyed it too!

First time in Jamestown visiting all the Lucy exhibits. We wanted a nice hometown style and feel for breakfast. We stopped at the Allen Street Diner and so glad we did. Everyone is so friendly and made us feel like family. There's no strangers here. The food is awesome and will definitely return. You will not be disappointed. Greatest place in area for food, laughter, service, atmosphere!++ my friends and I go as often as we can! Great local business owner with a huge heart!!! We LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Friendly place, once you walk in the door Mark let's you know you are "Family". I typically go for breakfast. Menu is limited to combinations of eggs, bacon, sausage patties, pancakes, home fries. (No sausage gravy or link sausage or other potatoes items) you typically get enough food but few leave any items on their plate. Cost is a bit higher than out of town diners.

This is a wonderful little restaurant. The food is great and the service is wonderful! Our waitress was the best and the owner came and talked to us and all his customers!
You will not be disappointed! I highly recommend this diner!

Awesome little spot! A gem of Jamestown. The 2 men working were beyond kind and accommodating to my 1.5yr old. No one else was in the diner which helped. Great food. Great menu. Great service. Great conversations. All around a great place.

Best tasting food in town. The meatball sub was out of this world. Homemade sauce made the meal. If you’re looking for home cooked meals, you gotta try Allen street Diner. You won’t regret it. The owner Mike even came to our table to make sure everything was ok . Thank you Mike and Anthony.

Really nice owners, especially the gentleman who also cooks. Genuinely interested on why I was there, etc. Good food. Nice little place. And vintage Price is Right episodes were fun. Go here!

Everything was great! Cleanliness, atmosphere, noise level, timelines, delicious food and kind, considerate patrons. It's an older staple in the community. On street parking, very small accommodations compared to chain restaurants. Fits about 40 people max. Could tell it was a local spot. People were sitting with strangers just to be polite because there were no empty tables. It's quaint but excellent!

This is my favorite place to eat anytime I am near Jamestown. The food is always excellent and only outdone by Jane and Marks friendly and inviting personalities. I mean come on, how many cooks do you know that leave the kitchen just to chat with customers?

So happy we stumbled on this place! I ordered the Spiede Chicken salad and my boyfriend got the steak sub with fresh cut fries. Everything was delicious and the people working there were so friendly! We are staying in the area for a few months and will be back multiple times I’m sure!

This place was incredible. Was working in Jamestown for 4 days this week, we went there for lunch 4 times, everything was great! Very small place - seating for maybe 20, easily missable if you're not looking. It's an open kitchen, meaning you can see everything that goes on. They keep it super clean and tidy. The guys that own the place are really nice. You can tell they love what they do. If you're ever in Jamestown, don't misout on the opportunity to eat here.

The food was absolutely delicious. Although they were busy the service and food were super quick and there was only two gentleman working (doing everything from phone orders, serving, and cooking). Super impressive and they were the sweetest! Definitely recommend

We stopped at the Allen Street Diner for lunch on a road trip from Colorado to New York, tired of chain restaurants and gas station sandwiches. Allen Street is not a traditional diner. It has a simple, no-frills menu; but the food and the unbelievable prices more than make up for that. So does the personable and hospitable service. Our food was fresh and tasty, and we ate it at a rustic wooden farm table while chatting with our server. If you're looking for affordability, cleanliness, wholesome healthy food, and the ambience of a family kitchen, be sure to check this place out.

My mom and I have come here multiple times. She is wheelchair bound and I have a walking disability. In the summer we ride around in electric wheelchairs and stop here for lunch. The owner is wonderful. Once he sees us at the door, he does everything he can to make it possible for us to get in. It is small so if he has to move tables he does. Most of the time he doesn't have to because although it is small, it is set up with some space between each table. It is has a unique decore with branches along the wall draped with lights. It is a different and appealing touch. They offer a lot of different food like wraps, burgers, different sandwiches, fish. My favorite is their homemade fries. I bring my service dog in with me and the server brings her water and the owner always offers her chicken. He gives her a big portion too. Just recently we ordered food to take out. With it being winter my mom and I are not riding around and we were craving something other than fast food. I called, ordered, and picked it up. Everything was packed up and just as delicious when we got home as it is when we eat in. I completely recommend this place!!

Would give it a 6 if I could. Very friendly staff. Atmosphere like home. Ingredients fresh. Eggs cooked perfectly OE. Hats off for 9 more years.
