THE DISC GOLF EXPERIENCE

I've been a disc golfer since 1982 and I've been a professional disc golfer for over 30yrs and this store has THE best selection of golf disc's and accessories anywhere in the state of Wisconsin.....PERIOD.
Everything that they sell here is reasonably priced and in perfect condition. A lot of disc golf stores sell factory seconds or defective products, NOT HERE. The employees are knowledgeable and respectful and is a very
pleasant experience. If you want the best quality disc products and accessories at the best prices around, THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU!!!!!

Very pleased with service. The owner took the time to talk to me about my strengths and weaknesses, then laid out some options that might work for me. I never felt any pressure to buy, but did pick up two new discs. I liked the way the owner knew the discs, the plastic types, and the game. I will absolutely be back. An excellent experience. The other reviewers do not lie. Update: the owner said this would be the first disc I threw over 300. Today I threw it 310, 315, 326 according to udisc. So, extremely satisfied!

As a new player, it's very easy to get information overload, and feel like you need so much stuff to play the game. I purchased a few used discs a couple years ago, and got a few more hand-me-downs from a player who hadn't used them in many years. I played few rounds last year, and have played a few this year. I looked up Mike's shop, called him and went for a visit. The first question he asked me was, "do you have your discs with you?" I did, so I brought them into the store. He and I went through them and he asked how they flew when I threw them, took time to reinforce my understanding of under/over stable, what my discs should be doing (and what they likely did before many years of use). I told him I was looking for something to get a little more distance on my drives, with respect to my lack of power. He suggested a disc that he thought would work well for me, and told me to keep the other drivers I had in my bag to have when I'm skilled enough to throw them. He didn't try to get me to buy anything. I did, however, buy the disc he recommended, and a bag from him as I was in the market for one. He had many to choose from, and I was able to look them over and choose what felt most appropriate for me.
In a world of online shopping, I yearn for a place like DGX. I feel like I could have stayed there longer than the 45 minutes I was in there. I will certainly be going back, and if you haven't been, I would encourage you to stop by. He seemed to have a very large selection of discs and other related equipment, including baskets. I read through all the reviews on this page. I agree with the majority, this is place is excellent. Thanks for your help today, Mike. I hope to see you out there someday!

Very nice shop. Mike is a great guy who loves disc golf. He's very helpful in trying to get molds you're looking for (if available with supply shortage my manufacturers)

This is a great shop! Mike is very knowledgeable and friendly. He has a great selection of products that are hard to find. Would highly recommend to players of all abilities.

Great selection of discs from all the major brands. Very friendly and helpful service. Dave knows his stuff!! And he's played a few courses (like... 1000), so he's got some years under his belt. Make a stop if you're ever passing through!

Always a great experience @ The Disc Golf Experience. Guaranteed to walk out with some nice disc golf gear cause there's more than enough to choose from for the beginner or seasoned vet even though it's not the biggest store you will come across in America. Mike the owner is a great fella all around the board & does soooooo much in Wisconsin for disc golf with league's/ tournament's/ course design & upkeep/upgrading. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic place! Shop is small but has a ton of selection! The staff is very friendly and helpful! Can't recommend this place enough! 11 out of 5 stars! Location is a little hard to find but very cool :)

Great place to go hold plastic and Mike is a great guy. I don't like to order online when I can support the 'little guys'. If I weren't so far I would be there every other week just to chat. He knows his stuff and has played MANY, MANY courses....

Mike is a great guy with tons of knowledge regarding the sport of disc golf. His shop has a great selection of discs and disc golf related gear, and he gives spot-on recommendations based on individual players’ skill levels and style of play.

Great little shop with a massive selection of different plastics, bags, and other merch. Plenty of hard to find gems here! Staff was very friendly and insightful. Will be returning in the future.

Great store I wish I could buy all of my discs at, Mason’s always so helpful and knowledgeable its really made the sport a lot easier and more fun for a beginner like me to get involved in, I recommend this place to everyone who gets into disc golf.
