Guerriero's

This was my first time coming to Guerriero’s and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was festive with holiday decor and the service was exceptional as they provided wonderful recommendations (with healthy portions) throughout each course! If you are in Morristown for a show, a graduation or holiday party, or just want food made with love, Guerriero’s is the perfect place!

My coworker and I shared the eggplant parm and a chicken parm; both were delicious.
The atmosphere is nice but it was PACKED!!
Definitely will go again.

Excellent local Italian that is a true delight. Everything ordered to date has been exceptional from regular menu items to specials. Chicken and Veal dishes are amazing. The Mozzarella Carrozza appetizer is uniquely served with piccata sauce that is fantastic. The meatballs are top notch as is their sauce. Service is professional and attentive. They care that each diner is pleased. Note: it's basically cash only (venmo ok) but it's worth it.

First time for the “Sunday Grandma’s Dinner”. Everything from the antipasto to the cannoli and espresso were excellent. Relaxed atmosphere; not rushed. Ready to come back again!

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was very good, everyone was very friendly, the owner was even walking around chatting to everyone. Outside patio was beautiful on a nice night. Would definitely come back!

Guerrieros is hands down the best Italian food in the area. Everything tastes fresh and delicious and their specials are always home runs. Service and ambiance are top notch as well. Leigh and her staff go above and beyond to provide the best experience for anyone dining out in Morristown. Would give 10 stars if I could!

I ate here as part of a party of five. The service was phenomenal - who is running FOH? Whoever is running FOH is amazing because this place ran like a well-oiled machine. All of the waitstaff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our table, along with every other it seemed, was touched by the owner. You don’t see restaurant owners doing table touches anymore, it shows a level of care for their guests that is not common.

The food was amazing. I personally had the Veal Avellino (pictured) and it was a nice, reasonably light dinner to eat outside on a cool summer night. My partner had the cavatelli dish on special and I did have a bit of that - the pasta was al dente and great quality. Fried calamari for an appetizer - cooked well, not rubbery, perfectly seasoned. Dessert we tried a number of options - chocolate mouse cake, cheesecake, tiramisu, all reasonably priced and delicious.

We’re only here visiting family but I will want to come back here the next time we’re down here in NJ.

Lovely restaurant and the best part is that you’ll get a special visit to your table from Mr. Guerriero checking in and singing for you if you’re lucky 🥰. My friend and I loved the food, service and outdoor seating in a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

When going out for dinner, I look for an experience, otherwise, why go out??? I want great service, excellent food and reasonable prices. To find all three, and get treated like a king in a place where the owner and staff are sincerely interested in pleasing you is a rare find indeed. It's here!!!
Jack Guerriero knows what it takes to make that wonderful dining experience happen. The freshest and tastiest preparations. Cooked like mamma used to make it, with staff that cannot do enough to please you. I have never had a bad meal there ever! The owner, Jack visits the tables regularly to be sure you are pleased with your meal, and every dish on the menu is amazing. The specials are to die for. Stuffed zucchini flowers, veal, snapper livornese or three other incredible preps, eggplant rollatini, long hots with sausage and homemade chips, OMG, broccoli rabe, escarole and bean soup, everything cooked to perfection... No kidding!!! Did I say try the specials??? Must try the fresh Snapper that you can have prepared three different ways. Don't skip Sunday dinner at Grandmas for the food and the love family style. Sit outside on a beautiful nite on their new patio, before the Theatre and be treated to deliciousness. Then walk ten feet to MPAC. There is no better Italian restaurant in Morristown than Guerriero's. Thank you Jack!!!

Came to a bridal shower held here and the food was AMAZING!! Chicken parm, eggplant rollatini and pasta primavera were great. Service was awesome! The open kitchen made the inside a bit warm for summer, but it was still an enjoyable experience

Delicious food, friendly service. Best fried calamari I’ve had!

The food is amazing and the service is unmatched. The raviolis on the main menu were the best ones I've ever had in my life—it had this velvet filling that left you in a trance. To complete the night, we had the Tiramisu and Cheesecake for dessert and they were a total delight. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is truly awesome.

Food was GREAT. Service was THE BEST. Can't wait to go back.

Two annoying things would have been nice to know:

1. they take Cash, Check or Venmo only. No card reader.
2. No liquor license, the place is strictly BYOB/W.

Annoying tidbits aside, I have to say, the food was fabulous. I got the ravioli which was strange because I’m not a huge fan of ravioli normally... But the server was right, it was out of this world. Grilled octopus was great. Atmosphere and overall feel of the place was conducive to no alcohol and no card reader, so it all sort of worked nicely. Highly recommend, and next time I’ll go back with my favorite wine and keep working my way down the menu!

Love the Sunday grandma's dinner. Makes you feel at home

I celebrated my 70th birthday last night with family members who are dear friends. The food and the service were excellent. The owner greets each table of guests and chats for a few seconds, and my companions mentioned that it was my birthday. As we were leaving after the meal, the owner stopped me to wish me a happy birthday and a pleasant evening. I can’t wait to have a meal here again the next time I’m in Morristown1

Excellent food, amazing service. So incredibly uncommon today, very refreshing. The meatballs reminded me of my mother's, and the risotto was cooked to perfection.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. It is my absolute favorite Italian restaurant. The menu has so many great choices, it’s hard to decide what to order. Everything is consistently good. The specials are always excellent as well. The fried calamari is the best around. The meatballs, sausage, homemade cheese ravioli and marinara sauce are better than your Neapolitan grandma makes. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. And if you’re lucky enough to have owner Jack Guerriero serenade you tableside, it will make your evening here complete. BYOB.
