Morristown Diner

Classic NJ diner with some solid choices. Stopped by on a Thursday late afternoon and we ordered a California wrap and Greek wrap. Both plates were packed and both were tasty. My partner ordered the pea soup and didn’t care for it. Food was good, service was great. I especially appreciate the old school diner feel and the nostalgia.

What’s with the reviews? This place is AMAZING! My son had a competition and we were staying at a hotel in a nearby location, it looked a little busy at first but we decided to go in anyways. Despite there being almost every table filled, they served our food within less then 15 minutes. This was extremely impressive as we ordered 2 Pancakes, and a Grilled Chicken Wrap.

The atmosphere and interior is so cute! We loved the decor around us: it was a very comfortable environment. Unlike some restaurants, not too much light, and not too little: the tables aren’t too big, but aren’t too small, the diner was clean: we had no issues of finding a clean table. You could definitely say the interior was great.

The server was friendly and attentive, my son can be a bit picky, yet he LOVED the food. I have to say, the food was definitely higher then our expectations: we’ve been to a ton of restaurants nearby Jersey, we would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some place to eat whether it’s dinner, lunch, or breakfast.

We will definitely be returning!

The food was as good as I remember! I hadn't been to the Morristown Diner in about 5 years, but the food tasted as good as I remember. Favorite item has always been their open-faced Reuben. The serving of fries was very generous and they came out very crisp. The Boneless Buffalo wings were a bit overcooked, but still tasted good.

It was so good, we went twice! Although the parking was questionable (blessings as we had parking spots both times!!), the establishment was great! Their food was yummy and affordable. We had the same server twice, she was great! This is definitely the local spot as it was filled both times we went. The host was very nice too as he always made sure we were good. I would come again with my mom, another town over :) we even ordered Togo!

We love it here! This is one of our top pick-up options in town. They are always consistent and fast! Food is always great. Everyone is friendly. Solid diner!

The service was phenomenal. Between the waitress Rachel and the woman behind the counter Cat, I felt as if I was back home and very welcomed. Food was delicious and brought out extremely fast. All in all an outstanding experience. Catherine deserves every penny she makes!

Love this place it’s perfect when my boyfriend and I can’t decide on something to eat because they have everything but they also overall do ever dish well for such a broad menu. However, I LOVE Matzo Ball soup. Their soup only has one matzo ball for 7$. So it’s basically broth + a matzo ball. If they have two or three smaller ones, we’d be feasting here regularly. Overall great spot.

This place has amazing omelettes I have a western omelette with American cheese and dry Ray toast and it was delicious even the home fries were cooked perfectly. The service is amazing and you’re greeted with a warm smile and kindness which is always fantastic.

My favorite diner in NJ. Really enjoy the Reuben sandwich and the onion rings. Onion rings had a nice crunch and you can tell they are homemade. Breakfast is always solid too. My thing is the pancakes. So good. Also reasonable prices and big portions which is a diner staple. Check this spot out!

last night week night 12pm ish I ordered a greek wrap with fries and a chicken sandwich can’t remember which kind it was my boyfriends order - first time trying this place - so freaking good. looking forward to trying more of the menu. wish i took pics i will next time. great price, big portions too.

This is the epitome of what a diner should be. Bustling, quick, friendly and with great tasting, big portions of diner foods.

Had the Irish Benedict.. has corned beef hash as the base. Asked for very soft poached eggs and they were perfect! Yummmm!

Great place to eat now. Had both breakfast and lunch. Great homefries and a top notch southwestern salad. Nice staff.

I should add, being there on 3/28/2024, great burger and having left my card behind, the owner found it for me and had it returned. This guy, having ligaments torn in his ankle from an accident, is limited to a scooter, but is still as nice and cheerful as before. Good food and a nice owner.

Typical US diner restaurant. We had pancakes and it was great. Stuff and service was perfect, good and enough coffee. Really enjoyed our stay there.
