Tavern off the Green

Visited TOG to see the band Cold Hill (who were EXCELLENT). This is a smaller Irish bar/pub with a wonderful relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Bar tenders were great, friendly and pleasant. The bar is divided down the center, bar and open area, by a half wall with large opening so you are able to enjoy the band while at the bar or stand/sit in the open area. Music wasn't too loud, still able to talk with friends. Prices were good and I would really love to visit this place again ☘

Best dive bar in town! Cash only, good vibes. Great bands on the weekend. Possibly the only bar, post pandemic, that consistently has live music every weekend. Bartenders always accommodating and the owners make the bar so welcoming of all. You will find every age range on any given night. If you are looking for a fun night out, tavern never disappoints

Cutest, cleanest, friendliest little dive bar I've ever been to! Drinks were perfectly mixed, bar staff was really friendly, the women's bathrooms were exceptionally clean! My friends and I hung out and chatted, played darts from about 11:30 until after last call. Good times!

Greatest dive bar in Morristown, pool and darts great bands on weekends. Open mic every other Thursday is fantastic. Oooh yeaaaa baby oooo yeaaa wah wahaaa wahaaa yea cash only yo!!!!

We had the best experience here! Friendly, nice, funny and amazing are words that come to mind of the bartenders and owners of this bar. We love coming somewhere where everyone is pleasant and welcoming. Daniella and flora were specifically amazing, we will be definitely coming back!

I used to go to other bars but I find the people and owners at the Tavern to be very friendly. It's a very casual and easy place to get to know other people. The drinks are good and they have a steady source of entertainment .

This is the perfect little "dive bar" where everyone knows your name. They even sell dive bar T-shirts. Always a good time seeing local talent there. Thursday nights seem to be especially popular

Classic cash only local dive with an eccentric crowd. It’s centrally located and within walking distance to the train, dining, and other local staples. This is one of the last few gems in town that hasn’t gone to the dark side.

Hands down, the best time in Morristown. Skip the lines and the cover of other bars in the area. Tavern Off the Green, lovingly nicknamed TOG, is a staple of the area. Offering great live music every weekend, chances are you’ll find yourself staying out way later than you anticipated, singing and dancing with friends and strangers alike because the good vibes this place gives off are contagious. The patrons are warm and welcoming and the staff knows how to make a nice stiff drink. Everyone who goes here, gets it, there’s no place like home, or in this case, Morristown’s favorite dive bar. You immediately feel like a regular, almost as if you’ve been coming for years even if it’s only your first or second time. The sisters who own TOG are friendly faces and regularly on premise. You can tell they love their customers as much as a fat kid loves cake or an Irishman loves his Guinness. So seriously, if you’re in the area and looking for a good time, check it out. Last time I was there we got to see the Spare Tire Band, an awesome local band who killed it!

The last real bar in town... if you're tired of the usual corporate run packaged bars.. then it's time for the tavern! Great drinks and lots of beer. I always have a great time.... music is awesome and the staff are always ready to pour..

This place is great. I've never seen a bar give everyone free hotdogs. Great beer, great food, and they have a pool table! Will come back next time I'm in Morristown.

A local bar with local talent. Saw the Breeze at the Tavern. They did a great set of 70's, 80's tunes. Fun bar to just hang out.

The best, and last, locals bar in Morristown. Owned and operated by two gracious and beautiful sisters who make everyone feel welcomed like part of the family. This is the type of bar where locals, and visitors, come to see each other, talk, and socialize after a long day at work or visit for a more lively weekend night where you will usually find either a live band or a DJ. This is a true pub, not a pretentious fruity martini bar or a stuffy single malt scotch room, this is more of a beer (yes, they even have pitchers!!) and Irish whiskey kind of place (but the bartenders can and will still mix up your favorites if you ask nicely). No food is served, but you can go next door for some pizza and bring it back (and sometimes the house buys pizza and snacks to treat the house, they are good that way). 5 STARS

Best bar around! Friendly and warm with lots to do. Bands or Dj's all weekend, internet jukebox the rest of the time. Pool, darts, golden tee, and mega touch. Package goods and an ATM. Great place for everything you need in a bar. Never a bad vibe and always a good time.
