Ritchie's Music Center

I occasionally visit this music shop and have gradually been coming in more frequently. Great staff, friendly, funny, and quick to help. Worth the drive to come here specifically for getting help with my guitar. Here is that pumpkin the other review was referencing

Fortunately happened upon this gem. Not a musical person here but bought a guitar for my daughter yesterday from Ritchie’s. What a wonderful experience. She now is begging for lessons at “the music store with the funny guys.”

I called Ritchie's to see if they could fix something on my guitar and they told me to come right in. The young guy working there fixed it right away. I then started looking at acoustic guitars and he suggested a relatively inexpensive Yamaha that he said he loves. I'm a beginner so I appreciated the guidance. I ended up buying the guitar and I love it. The owner was also there and he was helpful and friendly. The whole place has a good vibe and I definitely suggest going there. I only paid attention to the guitars and ukuleles and there is a huge variety in all price points. I'm not sure about all the other services and items they offer but there seems to be a lot going on so I would definitely call with any music related question.

Just gotta share my recent love affair with Ritchies Music Center. Took my Darbuka Drum in for a fixer-upper, and honestly they performed some magic on it. The thing practically sings now! The team over there isn't just into repair's; they're like music doctors, reviving instruments with love. They even gave me the lowdown on how to keep my darbuka in great condition and how to adjust it. To conclude These guys are Great! the shop is awesome and very clean. They have so many awesome percussion instruments. I will be back for sure! i highly recommend this shop

I've bought I large majority of my instruments at Ritchie's. The staff is just the one of the best costumer expirences I've ever had. From their knowledge, and ability to help they are always my first stop for gear that i'm looking the buy for my rigs.

The owner is incredible. I went Saturday and the young man working there or a young kid lol I forgot his name, he was quick on the computer quick with everything and went out of his way to help me. He called the drum specialist because that wasn’t his department, I was on the phone talking to the drum specialist to make sure that I got the right equipment. The owner I guess gives lessons and he’s really cool so nice and the young man that was helping me was awesome. You couldn’t have more of a friendly place. I think I was there about an hour. I could’ve stayed a couple hours if I didn’t have to drive it to Pennsylvania.

Fantastic place with a really welcoming atmosphere!!! The people who work there are very helpful and kind!! Fixed my bass guitars aux easily!! I’ll be coming back soon!!

Great shop! Killer bass setup exactly as I had requested, quick and very reasonably priced. staff is awesome. Very cool 🕶

My son bought his first guitar today and so glad we made the purchase at Richie’s. Both Tyler and Carlos were so helpful. From test driving the guitars to their expertise, it made the process so much easier and enjoyable. Had a really great experience and appreciated their attention. Great selection too! 5 stars all around!

Nice selection of new and used gear as well as all the little accessories you need in a pinch. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Worth checking out instead of the big chain.

Brought a new guitar (purchased elsewhere) to Ritchie's for a problem. Matt fixed it! He was super nice and knowledgeable. I had called the day before and spoke to Eric who was very friendly. Great place! Next instrument will be bought from them directly (& I'm sure there will be no problems)!! Highly recommend!

Always a great place to hang and do business. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, offering competitive prices even when compared to on line platforms such as reverb. On top of that, you can trust the quality of the equipments, even the used ones. Don't buy your next music gear before check them out.

The guys there were incredibly helpful and informative, really took the time to go in depth about the amps I was looking at and helped me find the best match for my goals and budget!

Saw an amplifier on their website that I was interested in. Made a phone and was greeted by someone in the drum department who was very helpful and professional he relayed my contact information to the guitar department manager who was out of the building on a lunch break. My call was returned within one hour and I set up a time the following morning to visit the store and play the amplifier. Everyone at the store was so pleasant and helpful. I traded in some used equipment and the price they gave me was exactly what I was expecting after doing online research. I highly recommend stopping by Ritchie’s Music for any musical gear. It’s so easy to go online and click then your new gear shows up a few days later but I personally like the old days when you can interact with nice friendly musicians. This is exactly what happened here. I drove an hour each way and it was so worth it. Go check them out!

Bill and Eric Awesome Store Great Job! These 2 rockers made my experience at Richies phenomenal. Helped me with all my purchases and even some questions I had about foam suppression panels. You better go here for all your musical needs, these guys are veterans in the music word. Very few knowledgeable and experienced people left working at these music places so if you need anything, Richies is your place to go!

If you live in the area and need a music shop, this is the place to go. I’ve been coming here since 2009, and they have always been so nice, informative, and always do their best to help you out. The employees and owner are such a blast to talk with. Whenever I have an issue with my guitar, need a set up, or need help with gear, they always give their upmost attention to you and make sure the job is done right. Definitely stop by and support local!

Ritchie’s Music was a great place to purchase a keyboard. Their prices are competitive with the online music stores but their level of service is much higher. In addition to being available for returns, and making it possible to try before you buy, they provide lessons and repairs. Truly a gem of a music store. Thanks Ritchie’s!

Ritchie's was referred to me by a friend on a drum forum. They had a particular Mapex snare drum in stock that I wanted. A phone call was all it took to order this snare. AJ was extremely helpful and did everything he said he would when he said he would. Everyone I talked to on the phone was friendly and courteous. The snare drum shipped quickly and arrived well packed and in pristine condition even though it had been on display in the store. I live several hundred miles away from Ritchie's but would not hesitate to order from them again.

Riches was very helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed for my sound and needs and went the extra mile above .. and even thru in a discount which was much appreciated.. I will definitely shop there again … thank you
