The Range of Richfield

As french, we went there with a friend who has never shot before.

We explain our situation to the staff who was very kind and help us to choose the good weapons for a great experience.

We were helped and supervise during the whole session to make sure we stay safe for us and others.

The price was decent. Moreover, I really appreciate the variety of pistols. It was a really cool experience and the spot is very well equipped. We'll surely go back to try the rifles this time.

Based on what I’ve read there appears to be mixed reviews depending upon which employee people have interacted with. Here is my experience. I ordered a pistol online and had it sent here for the background check and transfer. As I went through the process, everyone was kind and it went smoothly. I didn’t get an instant approval so I waited around for a response. I decided to look at safes as I am in the market for a bigger one. The owner approached me and was very helpful and polite. Though I didn’t end up making a purchase, he gave me a catalog of different available safes. While I was talking with him, my approval went through and I was able to take home my new pistol. As I was leaving the owner gave me 2 passes for free range time. All in all I was in and out in about 30 minutes. It was a great customer service experience and I hope more people have the same experience as I did.

I typically don't like the feel of most ranges and gunshops. Reason being it's another field of life long shooters and know-it-alls that tend to look down on the newbies. The range of Richfield however did not make me feel that way. Dudes at the desk were nice, fast, and got my son and I to shooting quickly. I thought the price was great even, and what a clean, nice facility. Will return and recommend. (Pro Tip-) pick targets that are larger than the cardboard carrier they attach to. Lol.

We had a nice time! Darren is very knowledgable and helped us decide what to rent. Kevin was also very kind and attentive in the range. Will come back.

Attended a first shots course here, instructors were great. Knowledgeable instructors and a comfortable, safe environment to learn in. Range was extremely clean and well maintained. Safety was always emphasized. Would definitely recommend

First time on the range and I felt pretty good about it. It was a safe but really relaxed environment. They went over the rules, answered any questions and let us go on our way. Yeah you can’t just mag dump but they’re reasonable with how quick you can shoot and how frequent.

The range is clean and the staff are friendly, I only wish they had something like magnets so we can stick our targets to the wall for storage since there are only two tables per bay and I can see that getting pretty crowded.

The ventilation is good, I shot a recently sprayed suppressor at. The range and it came out like a black powder rifle but it cleared out pretty quick

This is a great place for the gun enthusiast. Jason and all the other staff members are awesome. I've bought several firearms here and will continue to do so. The shooting range is clean and modern, the prices are very reasonable, especially their prices on firearms. They helped me with a return today and they were very cool about it. Thanks guys!

Love working with these guys!! It’s owned and ran by a family that are just wholesomely good people. The range itself is really nice and the premium lanes are really cool. They carry a ton of inventory including knives, safes and cases. They have classes also from novice to anyone wanting more training. I highly recommend checking them out

My absolute favorite place to shoot and improve my marksmanship. The staff is so amazing and friendly, the classes are very informative and interactive, and they have an excellent supply of quality firearms. Jeff and Darren have both been a huge help in getting my CCW and becoming a more confident target shooter every time I’m on the lanes. After trying my hand at Cabela's I will only go to places like The Range at Richfield from now on. Great staff, great selection. Their products are very high quality at good prices and you don't have to face crowded counters and long delays trying to get the products you want. I'm very satisfied and had a great overall experience as compared to the big box stores.

Went in yesterday as first timer with a few friends. Everything was thoroughly explained to us. We had a great time. John and Tim did a great job helping us with everything. They made the experience better for us and helped us learn new things. Keep those guys around they are amazing

Been here a few times now and always have a great experience. I'm not close to being a pro shooter, but the staff has given me tips and tricks every time I've gone! I haven't taken a class yet, but I have been seriously contemplating it eapecially since there is such an amazing and helpful staff there. I feel more comfortable with a gun and my performance each time I walk out. The prices are better than most ranges around too. I recommend The Range to anyone and everyone.

This is a great place. I've shot here a few times and have also performed multiple FFL transfers here. I'd highly recommend.

Had a great time at the range. The range officer was extremely helpful with my brother. And he also pointed out a bad habit I had with my grip. I will definitely be going back soon and possibly getting a membership also. 5 star range and store!

Awesome experience. My wife and I went in for her first time shooting. I am ex military and they told me after I paid that I get to shoot free, and they gave me my money back. I am very happy about this because I was more than happy to pay the fee to shoot. Also the state of the art facility is very nice and easy to understand and work with.
The range safety officer was very nice as well. As long as you follow there easy to understand safety rules there is no reason to be worried. (common sense rules to follow with firearms, ie don't flag people with your barrel.)
We were so happy with our experience that we are going back on Thursday this week.

After asking a few friends and Google searching another gun range a bit closer to home, I stumbled on The Range of Richfield. I was pleasantly surprised and glad I did. This place is by far the best indoor shooting range I've been to near the surrounding metro Milwaukee area. Even the 3D tour on their website showcases how neat and clean everything really is! Upon walking through the door, you immediately feel the great quality and well maintained storefront that it has. A buddy and I were promptly greeted as we entered and we immediately felt very welcomed. This is HUGE for any business and says a lot nowadays! As far as the instruction and guidance by the personnel, you're in great hands with the NRA range safety individuals on site. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Oh and the cleanliness that other patrons were talking about...The shooting lanes are VERY clean. One thing that stood out for me in addition to how neat everything looked was the absence of smoke. This place is well ventilated even! I've been in some real "smokers" I tell you, and after witnessing this, a couple other places aught to be ashamed of theirselves. I love this place and encourage anyone that's looking for a great place to shoot to come experience it! I am purchasing a membership this week!!

Great place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have purchased several firearms from here now and they always have or are able to get what I want quickly. Skip the big box stores and head straight to the professionals to get exactly what you want. Range time and ammo pricing are extremely reasonable as well. No reason to go anywhere else for your firearm needs.
