Karl's Country Market

In this weathered day and age of big box grocery stores, markets like this are somewhat of a dying breed; and in a burgeoning area of western Milwaukee suburbia, we have a gem like Karl’s which stands the test of time. Both their deli and meat sections are wonderfully stocked with local goodies (including some of the best corned beef I’ve had in a long time, and even quite the selection of pickled herring), so it’s best to come with a cooler to stock up (I currently live in Ohio). The added bonus is the friendly staff, which always makes a difference.

Went to Karl's Country Market after a friend recommended it. Really impressed with the selection of sausages. I got the bockwurst and weisswurst that were frozen and I'll try them later. I also got the skinless chicken breasts and the stuffed bacon and cheddar stuffed chicken breast and they were solid. I got the cheddarwurst, smoked bratwurst and the 3 alarm sausage that I have yet to try but am intrigued for sure. The beef snack sticks are really good. Seriously, give it a shot. You always pay more going to a butcher but you always get better quality and variety.

Had a craving for real beef Jerky, it was kind of late for a butcher ship and they were all closed except Karl's. Drove 26 miles round trip for some national champion Jerky and I was not disappointed at all. I will be back!

Prices were good, good selection, and it was clean. It looked closed even though it was open. Employees must park in the back or out of sight.

Excellent priced lunch, overall excellent!!! Deli and meat departments have one of the largest selection of items I couldn't possibly pronounce. Sausage, brats, custom blends and meats are always fresh. Great local butcher. Highly recommend!!

1st time in since I was way younger with my parents. Nice little store, but they had many items that I remember my parents buying in the past. I miss the Gelbwurst we used to have, but they had it along with other meats. Bought some brats... Bourbon Flavored brat along with Nuremberg brats and made them this evening, which were great. Recommend going to pick up some great meats to anyone. Thank you, Karl's Country Market!

Have you decided to celebrate something with an impromptu party? Then stop by Karl's and quickly load up on their BBQ pulled pork and fresh French rolls. This award winning market always has mouthwatering selections, like Champion Double Smoked Bacon or Cheddar Brown Chicken Breast with Hash Browns and Cheddar Cheese. And I found out just in time for Mardi Gras that Karl's will have home-made paczkis (Polish jelly filled doughnuts).

It's always a pleasure shopping here. Fresh cut meats can be custom cut to order. Love the German and ethnic European foods, spices, and treats that are available. A plethora of sausage choices and liquor is also available. Pleasant employees every time!

Love the variety of Meats and candies. Very nostalgic for my folks first time with living in Germany years ago.

A nice little meat market that specializes in homemade brats and summer sausage. Wonderful meat market and all the fixings to go along with it. Speciality foods such as Polish, Asian, and Hispanic can be found down the aisles.

Great local butcher with a large selection of meats to choose from. Also has a great selection of unique products from overseas.

Just went to Karl's for the first time and I gotta tell you, I took a bite from the Beef and Gravy sandwich and a small tear drop ran down my cheek it was so good! Will be back soon and often!

Deer precessing incredibly quick. Dropped off Monday and was told ready by Wednesday same week with all meat vacuum packaged. You save $20 pay in cash at time of drop so instead of $120, it's only $100 plus you get the 10 pounds venison deer sausage included with no extra charge on that. Additionally, you get to have your deer hide back with no extra charge like other places claim to do. You do pay extra for all other sausages or special products like venison bacon. I think the prices are more than fair to the consumer's advantage for the quality work of cut steaks and roasts along with delicious sausage products, in convenient transparent heavy duty packaging, and rapid turn around time. I am well pleased for the great prices on outstanding quality timely processing of products rendered.

The meats & other ethnic foods are great. Everyone is always friendly & helpful.I personally think there prices are great. Try to stop on my way home from visiting my friend in Sussex. Well worth the stop!

Picked up a package of 3 chicken cordon blue here the other day. 50 minutes at 350° and 10 minutes or so to cool down. Absolutely fantastic, in fact probably the best I have ever eaten. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Guy behind meat counter was helpful with a question I had. Cashier was friendly. Wide variety of meats and sausages. The State Champion Smoked Ring Bologna was excellent!

Excellent meat, and these brats are truly champion brats. Prices are little higher than your average supermarket, but again this is not an average place.

So they followed the removal of the mask mandate that the Wisconsin Supreme Court voted on and someone is complaining about it!!! You have the personal choice to wear a mask. Grow up.

Absolutely fantastic. Huge selection of meats, sausages, many hard to find items. This is my first time here and I was very impressed. We picked up an assortment of many items to try and so far everything we have tasted is amazing.
