VCA Associates in Pet Care Animal Hospital

We have been going to this clinic for a while for all our dogs, but recently one of them became pretty ill and the entire staff was very compassionate and accommodating. They took all the appropriate precautions and the Doctor was very thorough with what his suspicions were and what tests were needed to give a proper diagnosis.

I cannot commend the caring team at VCA of Waukesha enough. Everyone at the office is truly amazing. A week ago our Mastiff was having some serious health issues. Not only did they get her in last minute but the team assisted us with bringing her in and stayed to make sure she was ok. We have been to several other vets over the years but none have been this wonderful. Thank you so much.

Was sad to learn that Dr. Toetz is no longer at VCA, however Dr. Centgraf has always been great with my pup. The staff is always willing to do everything they can to get my dog in when she's in a pickle, or if they can't, they're quick about sending the emergency vet the information they need. Everyone's always very kind and you can tell they really love animals here. Prices have always been reasonable as well.

Our pets have received nothing but the best care from our Veterinarian & staff at VCA. They've always managed to work with us within our budget by finding a variety of ways for us to meet our pets needs when we're struggling financially. Unfortunately, we had to put down my 20 year old feline Luna who was dying painfully from heart failure. He made it 8 months longer than the original prognosis so he was a fighter!

The care, empathy & tenderness with which both we & most importantly our cat was treated when the time came we will be forever grateful for. A veterinarian & their staff cannot 'play-act' such a blatant display of love & sadness. Their sincerity helped us cope & feel less alone, & their compassionate demeanor helped calm our cat in the last few minutes of his life.

If you want a veterinary clinic that is professional, has a full panel of experts, has all the equipment needed at the clinic to deal with ANY emergency, is willing to work with you within your budget if money is tight & consists of compassionate & dedicated individuals who love all animals (and it shows), then VCA is the best choice you'll ever make for yourself and, above all else, for your pet(s)!

They are trying to keep everyone safe by not allowing people in. When you get there you call in and they come and get your dog. They talk to you then or exchange further info by phone. Worked out well for us. They brought her out when she was done and talked to me then. Explained what was done and what should be done in the furure. Everyone was friendly and polite. My little dog will be going back in March. Also seemed to be cheaper than last vet.😁

I took my two pet rats here to be put to sleep because they were 2.5 years old and had large tumors. I had never brought them in or been to this clinic, but I was treated as if I had been going there for years. The staff worked to fit me in that same afternoon, and made clay paw prints of both rats’ paws. Dr. Toetz was so kind and empathetic. I could really tell she cared. Everyone I interacted with was so wonderful during a difficult time. About a month later, they sent me a sympathy card that everyone signed and wrote personal notes in. The staff here truly go above and beyond, and made a really difficult situation much better.

I have always received the most attentive and compassionate care for my senior dog at VCA. They really do make me feel as if my dog is absolutely the most important dog on the planet!

Dr. Toetz is absolutely lovely. Her and her staff were so loving and helpful with our boy. She really puts her all into helping you and your pet and is so incredibly understanding and will lay out all options and work with you. When the time came where we had to say goodbye to our baby, her and her staff were so compassionate and gentle with him and us. Thank you again for everything.

Really awesome experience here for our first appt. My dog was sick and we got an appointment quickly. Check in was super simple and our vet was amazing and helpful. Pup is back to her usual self and I'm relieved. Highly recommend!

The staff are all very friendly & compassionate. We have been clients for over 30yrs. They treat our pets, but they also treat us. The Drs. explain everything thoroughly, even cost. The grooming staff is great too. We just wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else!

I would like to start by saying, I have been a client of Dr. Johnson for 30 plus years, and trust him and his staff completely. My concerns are always met with an honest answer and all of the staff have treated me and my entire family like one of their own. Their concerns for my pets are truly admirable and even if this is not my pets favorite place to come, I know they will be well taken care of. Also, Best Care grooming does a great job on both my dogs and the convenience of them being in the same building is a plus. Hats off to Dr. J, his staff at VCA, and the groomers at Best Care, I appreciate all you do for my pets!

We recently had to put our 14.5 year old lab down. Of course this is never pleasant but it was a very compassionate experience for us. I don't remember the vet's name but he was fantastic. We have a 4 month old red fox lab and will definitely be bringing her to this vet to care for her. I also want to thank everyone there for your care and compassion are a very difficult time for us.

Customer service is amazing :) Doctor we met today for our new addition was outstanding :) They all are very friendly and explain everything you need to know about your pets health needs. Prices are reasonable. Clean. Fast local and accurate for your pets health..

I've taken my dog here a few times now and have been so impressed with the care she recieved! They are so informative with exactly what your pet needs and answer any and all questions you may have at any time of day. Also their rates are exceptional! I recommend VCA to all pet owners.

Dr. Centgraf and her staff are amazing! They provide excellent care and I feel like they truly want the best for my pets. They know all 4 of my dogs by name. It's always a pleasure coming in to the clinic. Dr. Centgraf provides options for treatment and makes sure I understand everything about each diagnosis. Fantastic people who have made the ultimate difference in my dog's lives!

I recently took my dog, Neo, there for his allergies and Dr. Centgraf was really helpful in giving me knowledge and advice about medications and things we can try to relieve them such as the food trial he is about to start. I felt like my opinion was valued into helping develop a plan to helping relieve his allergy symptoms and I look forward to continuing this new journey with him since I've never had to try a prescription diet with my dog. We take our animals here to see Dr. Toetz. She is AMAZING! She is so kind and caring, not pushy about having to follow one way of treatment. She really cares about my animals.

The entire staff at VCA has taken great care of my two dogs. They provide thorough explanations and want to make sure we understand every option available to us along with their pros and cons. They have always accommodated me whether my dogs needed an annual checkup or immediate care.

We had a dog who had been misdiagnosed with allergies. We had a referral to see Dr. Centgraf and she changed my dogs life! She correctly diagnosed him with an autoimmune disease and began his regimen of medications. As he aged, she was incredibly understanding of his continued health issues and would call us at home the same day, if we had put a call into her with a question. Now, at end of life, she has been amazing, not requiring us to bring him into the office for different meds for comfort. She does it all over the phone and has been incredibly understanding. Wonderful service!!!!!

VCA is a highly educated and super friendly vet clinic. My dog loves coming here! They have done a great job on the surgery my dog needed and cares for the needs of my dog. They have convenient hours of operation and are willing to answer all and any types of questions and concerns.
