Summit Credit Union

This is by far the best Credit Union! I recently opened a Heloc with them and the transaction was the smoothest I ever experienced. I have my mortgage with ECU and I first applied for a Heloc with them and they insisted I get an appraisal even knowing I have 40% equity. Summit took 1 look at my application and closed the line of credit in 2weeks no questions asked. Thanks Summit for treating me like a person and not a number, if I didn’t have such a great interest rate on my home I’d bring it over. You guys rock!

This location was really easy to find. More importantly, Eileen, the woman who helped me through the drive-thru, was awesome. She was quick, efficient, and really a pleasure to interact with. I literally left with a smile on my face because of her. 🙌💖

I'm not a fan of the new video conference ATM they have inside and lately the employees have been directing me to it instead of just doing the deposit for me. I'd feel differently if their drive-thru was backed up but the bank was empty so I don't know why they couldn't just do it.

Only use the ATM there. Very narrow and tight driving lane to get to the machine.

They don't tell you all the lanes are open so you end up in line Past 5:30 and then they refuse to help you. I told them I drove a long way to get there but they don't care. Asked about the lanes - girl ar window had nothing to say. "It should have been" bur 2 of us were waiting. Summit isn't as good anymore!

This is not location-specific; my experience in person has been fine. However! Their credit card program is the worst I’ve ever used. My card has been declined on 3 different occasions in 7 months -NOT bc I don’t have funds, but bc they have put a hold on my card with no notice and I can’t pump gas with over $1000 available!? Why? Because I paid my balance more than once per billing cycle. Or because my payment shows up on my app but takes an actual 10 more days to apply?? I’ve never been penalized for keeping my balance paid, had my card shut down with no notice, or had my balance lie to me for 10 days telling me payments posted when they didn’t. Absolute circus. Goodbye 👋🏼

Plan on waiting on hold for at least 10 min just to get to a live person. Once you get connected, it’s another 10 min to “verify” AFTER I’ve given them my info. I’m assuming the new fangled “virtual teller” kiosks are serving their purpose of cutting staff.
