Between their Taylor Ham Egg n cheese and their subs. They’re amazing! My wife who never agrees with me on anything called it “the best breakfast sandwich she has ever had”

Ordered tray of sandwiches, sausage pepper and onions, wings and quiche, and an amazing variety of pickles for a family reunion. Food was amazing!! Trays were beautiful!! Thank you so much Woodglen General Store!! Everyone was beyond happy and satisfied after eating multiple plates of food!! Can't wait to use you again next party we have!! Wish I could give you more than 5 stars!!

Just had the most wonderful experience! First of all, the store is absolutely adorable inside and out. We walked in, and the staff gave us recommendations and were beyond patient and helpful. Just ate half of my sandwich, had to stop eating and looked at my partner and said “I never write food reviews but I think I’m about to go post about this on facebook” My BLT is incredible, the bread is somehow crisp and soft at the same time, and the lettuce and tomato were so refreshing. Overall a great experience and hope we end up in the area again soon to come back!!!

My mom stopped in the get acouple sandwiches last week, and she said the new owners were so nice. We live close by, so she brought them home. WOW!! I like sandwiches but I have to say it's the best turkey sandwich I ever had. It's hard to say that about turkey because it's kinda plain, but it had the freshest tomato and lettuce on it. Came with a side pickle and some fruit salad, which was a great touch! I can't wait to have another one!! I'm recommending them to everyone in the area. I can't wait to go in to tell the new owners what an amazing job their doing! ❤👍😋

The store has new ownership with welcome changes. I had a simple roast beef sandwich with American cheese, it was delicious. Homemade coleslaw, macaroni salad, potato salad, … Worth a stop if you are in the area. Meat loaf sandwich is delicious. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Prices are north of inexpensive, but the quality of the products is what makes this store stand out. You won't be hungry when your done either.

I cannot comprehend the bad reviews. I moved to this area about a year ago and have been to the Woodglen General Store a handle full of times. They have always been most generous and delightful. There sandwiches both breakfast and lunch are great. Don’t change, your doing a great job.

The absolute best deli type place around.FRESH roast beef It’s store cooked. Ed the owner is a great chef constantly coming up with great creations. Meals to go like roast pork veggies and potatoes. I travel 10 miles just to come here its that good.

Was here for lunch had the hot store roasted pork loin bacon cheddar with horseradish sautés on a Kaiser roll. Amazing ! Thanks Ed you made my day!

The two lovely women working behind the counter today were so welcoming and friendly! They were just as excited about ordering some food as I was!

The woodglen special is a total slam dunk 10/10. The warm roast beef coupled with the coleslaw and Russian dressing hit the spot. It was the sandwhich that I needed, delicious!

My wife got a classic roast beef w tomato and let me tell you. Simple ingredients done correctly will knock your socks off! That's what the roast beef with tomato achieved for us! The beef was so tender and juicy, the mayo evenly distributed, the perfect amount of salt and pepper. AND that tomato. The iconic, farm fresh NJ tomato, was the foundation of this sandwhich. Great roast beef carries its own weight, but when paired with a juicy deep red slab of tomato sends your taste buds to the stratosphere.

I can not say enough good things about this place. The beverage and snack choices are unique, taste great, and are health conscious! The elderberry white tea flower and the lychee rose sparkling botanical beverages by Petal were so refreshing!

10/10 would recommend to a friend.
Have to return to try the meatball sandwhich, and the beefy cheesesteak.

PS I would return just to eat those savory and crunch dill pickles that COME WITH THE SANDWHICH

Great food and a friendly greeting! Reminds me of the old General stores back in the day where they knew you when you walked in! I just wish it was closer to my home!

Love this little General Store!! The best breakfast sandwiches! Everything is freshly made - from the "Bacon, Egg & Cheese Breakfast" sandwich to lunch and the many foods to choose from and the various specials of the day! Ed & the Woodglen General Store are the best!!

Lived very close to here, but until a few weeks ago, my boyfriend took me there. Everyone that works there is very polite and friendly and the food is great, I recommend them to anyone. They are still open during these trying times and I for one, appreciate that. 5 stars

Wow, I lived on Hickery run rd. When I was a little boy. 50 years ago. My best bubby and I would ride our bikes to this amazing store. I have 😢 in my eyes just thinking and seeing. This. God bless America...

Great store with friendly home town owners. Woodglen special is back as well as breakfast sandwiches and excellent cheese steaks. A must go for sure.

Country charm abounds here. Make your own coffee, order a satisfying breakfast or lunch sandwich or homemade dinner options. Old-tyme sodas, chips and sweets available. Always delicious.

Biggest and best sandwiches I have had at any general store or deli, hands down. A "half" sub here is basically the size of two full size subs from most sandwich places.
