Essence Collection Staten Island

I really love this place. I love the way the 2nd level of rooms, where I stayed, has a really nice green carpet that goes all the way down; that's the very first thing I noticed and was so glad that I was given a room on the second level. One could almost imagine living in some quaint village as cute as this place is. The bathroom is very nice as is the bedroom, with its glass mirrors at the headboard. The bathroom has just a shower stall, but its great that it has a stand to place soap. I hope to be able to stay here again.

I went there to handle busiess it was a NC-17 rating so no pictures it was $65 for three hours though this used to be "Staten Island Motor Lodge" now its "Essence Collection".

It is certainly not a 5 stars hotel. But, it is my favorite in Staten Island. Unlike most hotels there, you do not need a car here to move around. There's a bus nearby that takes you to ferry, and a supermarket within walking distance. Stayed here twice and staff has always been courteous and professional.

Nice they upgraded the rooms. It's very quiet, low price,rooms are clean.
