Waterfront Restaurant at The Abbey Resort

My husband and I arrived at the Abbey early Friday afternoon. We visited the Waterfront Restaurant for their (all you can eat) Friday night fish fry, and we loved it!
It comes with Cod or Walleye, fried or broiled. It also comes with potato pancake, regular fries, or sweet potato fries. As well as coleslaw and hush puppies. Everything named above was all you can eat. And you can change your selection at each plate. It came out fresh from the fryer and was quite delicious.
The view was beautiful, and the service was prompt.

I totally forgot to leave review after our end of summer trip Aug 22! I am very sad to see any negative reviews because our family ate at the Waterfront 3 or 4 times during our brief stay and it was always GREAT! We had everything from kids meals, salads, burgers & fun drinks. We interacted with multiple staff including darling, friendly waiters & awesome bartender! People complaining the price is high need to realize that it is NOT that high for a great resort with fabulous view & atmosphere(have you been to fast food places lately😳!) Also the labor shortage made everything tough for places at home & on vacay this summer & I am always grateful for those who show up & these people were smiling & working their butts off in my humble opinion! Excited to be returning for a quick overnight next week🍁🍂

Located inside of The Abbey Resort. Nice Food, great staff members and really great view on the marina. Variety of food available for you and your kids on the menu for affordable prices. Strongly recommended and definitely will come again here !!!!!

The Waterfront is a great casual place for a friendly meal and a relaxing view of the harbor at the Abbey. Good food, and friendly people.

Great food and atmosphere. Right on the water. Nice sunset dinner. Our waiter, Jorge, was very patient and made excellent recommendations. The kind of waiter that makes the dining experience what it should be. Eddie, the manager, took the time to come by the table to see how we were doing. Will definitely go back!

Love the new menu at the Waterfront! Went to the Waterfront with 8 women to celebrate two birthdays it was a wonderful experience! The entire group were locals and hadn’t considered dining at the Waterfront. Karla our server was very attentive from our drink order thru dessert. The avocado toast was amazing (taste and presentation!) the chopped salad was served with chicken or steak, we sampled both...the chicken was very moist and the steak was so tender. One of the ladies in our group had the Salmon, also very good. As a local resident, we will be dining at the Waterfront more often. Great job to the staff!!

Wow. What an awesome place. My wife, two daughters and I had several excellent meals here. What makes it stand out is not only the quality of the ingredients, but also the flavors. What this means is that they go the extra mile to season the food properly so you're not reaching for the salt, pepper, ketchup, etc.

They also smoke brisket daily which can be combined with anything - because who doesn't like bbq!

I love their appetizers they were wonderful. The food was great, also great atmosphere. Beautiful view!
They also have outside sitting... we went there during the late evening.... our daughter was getting married at the Abbey... we all sit outside for several hours...it was beautiful... we had drinks & relaxed. Awesome! ❤

You can't really go wrong with anything at the Abbey. The cheese curds starter was fantastic, Mac and cheese with pulled pork and shrimp was great, and my fiance s brisket chimichangas was a real winner as well. The atmosphere is always low lit an inviting. We will continue to make this one of our favorite places to visit.

Our server, Caroline, was helpful and suggested the perfect foods. Spotted Cow cheddar was scrumptious; broiled walleye and cod superb. Potato pancake was fried to perfection. Honey-lime chicken sandwich was a treat to the tastebuds. Great ambience with windows overlooking the Lake Geneva harbor. The Waterfront supports this 5-star review.

Stopped in before the Dancing Horses show with 2 little girls and a girlfriend. They made it special for us, we ordered two peppermint chocolate martinis and they made two kiddie martinis for The little girls! Very nice, awesome food, beautiful inside! will be back!!

The service, food, and selection were perfect after the packer win. We were there as a celebration for veterans day eve. The restaurant wasn't busy because it's off season but that's a perfect time to go.

Great views even at night, excellent service from our waitress, and the manager came by to check oon us as well. Food was Great!! Burger and fries to die for!! Plenty of indoor and outdoorbseating options. Considering its in a resort, just be sure to check for special hours due to private parties, etc...

Salena is a great server. Everyone is very polite and professional. Great food. In a time of covid we felt very safe and respected, with staff wearing masks and tables properly distanced. We will be back soon.

i love this place, its really pretty. the food is really good and the waiters are verrryy sweet.

The fish fry was great All you can eat Hush puppies was little overdone but they brought us new ones they were awesome. Great food great beer And garlic Garlic fries Awesome.

The place used to be so-so but drastically improved over the last couple of years. New decor, friendly service and great food. Pulled Pork is a must, as well as the bacon grease infused Bloody Mary with the works.

Can’t wait to be back! Lunching by the marina, awaiting our boat for a day on the Lake! Doesn’t get any better! Appreciate their choice to offer Gluten Free bread so I can enjoy a BLT Club or other sandwich like a normal person! THANK YOU WF!

The brunch on Sunday is so good, especially the bottomless mimosas. The outside view was nice and they had live music. I would definitely come again.
