Hooligans Restaurant

Bachelor party weekend 10 of us stopped in early afternoon just for food and a few drinks to kill time between events we had planned and come to or surprise it was probably one of the best parts of the entire weekend. Our waitress really made the experience go. from really good to us all asking ourselves how soon can we make another trip out here. Food was phenomenal!!! I got the Ruben I’d say this place had some of the best pastrami I’ve ever had in a Ruben. If I had to guess I’d say lean to fat ratio was 90-10. If I had to recommend a place for someone to eat in the surrounding 50 miles I’d recommend this place first without hesitation. Thank you for the amazing experience, you guys truly take pride in what you do. Only downside I can think of is that it’s not closer to my house!!! Will definitely be coming back asap!

What an amazing restaurant!! The food is phenomenal and the owner, Jim is really really nice! I highly recommend to anyone in the N. Conway area!!!👍👍

My boyfriend and I stopped in on our way back to RI. Sounded fun and the menu seemed yummy for an early lunch.
I had a bloody mary and the surf and turf burger. Yummy! The onion rings are delicious. Everything is fresh and made to order. My garden salad tasted like the veggies were just picked from a garden! Super casual spot with high quality food!

When first looking over Hooligans profile on Google Maps, it looked like the only local place open til 11:00 on a Sunday.

It is not only a "local place open til 11:00 on a Sunday," it is more! It still remembers it's local roots, with an aesthetic that reminds me of many pubs, but has a slight hint of the fancy.

Aesthetics aside, the food was tasty. The Chef's Salad caught my attention because of the artichoke hearts, and my friend's Shepherds Pie turned out to be gluten-free. The menu, though, didn't have any particular labelling designating any food allergies.

However, that did not stop the bartender from checking with the kitchen, which was kind. It is my intention to order the Shepherds Pie on my next visit there!

Also, they do sell Red Bridge, the Bud lite of gluten-free beers. Awesome! Though I do not know if anyone ordered one before, but they were still in the cooler, waiting to be dusted off and consumed.

Parking was not a problem. Busier days might have you walking a bit farther. It is important to note that Hooligans is where other food service workers go after work, so you know it's kind of a cool place.

No score on sustainability or Covid precautions.

The bartender was also very knowledgeable about the community, as one of the members of our group wanted to volunteer some hours at a local organization. It turns out there are a lot of places to make a difference!

Always good food. Usually busy but have always gotten a table.

Lobster rolls were excellent. All tail meat. Pastrami Ruben is one of the best. Nice clean oil that cooked the fries. But the very best was our server. I think her name is Marly.

Best fish and chips I've had. The fish was fresh caught and very tasty. Better than expected.

Very welcoming very friendly waitress. Helpful almost closing time. But still got everything good nice got after3 hours and20 min of driving.

This was a small bar/ resteraunt in conway new hampshire it was very good.

The Steak Tips were cooked on a grill and full of flavor. They were cooked the way I like.. Broccoli had garlic and oil, very tasty and the mashed potatoes were real potatoes! Good selections to choose from the menu. The waitress was friendly but was very busy.. definitely get here early as it's small and fills up quickly.

The cheeseburger and mashed potatoes were awesome, the fried ice cream was great, and Matthew is the best! Thank you guys!

I enjoyed this restaurant. Very down to earth, friendly, and attentive. The prices were very good for the area, the food was tasty, and I enjoyed my meal there. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Absolutly great food snd well portioned. Bit on the pricey side but worth every bite. Drinks were very well made too. Not over powered or lacking alcohol. Their bartender truly cared about quality but more important for the bar she did not over pour. Thst is a hard bartender to find. Atmosphere was meh. But it was a sunday night and no tourists about at 930

Was in North Conway back in October, 2020 during the pandemic, we were Attending The White Mountain Jeep Invasion, after being turned away by a couple other restaurants, we found Hooligans, we were a party of 6 we seated in a timely manner. Found the food and service very good. The waitress Ashley was great.

Our small group was back again the last weekend in January, 2021. This time our waitress was Alicia (spelling?). The young lady did an awesome job,and the food was very good, and the service was fast.

Everyone in the group had all good things to say about the food and the service.

We will be back again and we know right where we’re going.

Some of the meals the group had, Fried Lobster Tails, French Onion Soup, Steak Sandwich, Lobster Pot Pie, Shepherds Pie, Steak, Burgers, Quesadilla, Pot Stickers. The fries are not frozen.

Reasonable prices, great service and the food was excellent

We came here with our toddler and had a great experience! Great food and reasonable prices on a casual atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the service quick.
Note: we were here around 5 pm. I can see how this place has more of a bar vibe later in the evening

We stumbled upon this place just off the main drag in North Conway. It was a great find. Our waitress (sorry forgot her name) was fantastic. She was so friendly and genuine and acted more like she was serving her own family dinner than strangers who were restaurant patrons. She kept bringing us hot bread, and making sure we were happy.

They have a good variety of dishes and all were good. They had plenty of options for vegetarians like me. My husband had the steak (daily special) and raves about it. They also have a little bar off to the side. Overall, great food and good atmosphere!

Friendly Staff and Great Food!!
I took the wife and four kids there today. Super friendly when we walked in.
The waitress was the nicest lady ever. She took our order and got us our food fast. They were super cool/thoughtful about my daughter's peanut allergy.

Chili was fantastic
Kids mac and cheese was home made
Baked stuff shrimp was amazing
Steak tips were really good
Great beer selection

You get the picture, food is really good.

I'd highly recommend this very family friendly place.

I saw some of the reviews on here that made me rethink going here, but they are WRONG-O! So glad I went. What a hidden gem of fun food, tavern atmosphere and friendly people and service. Our server Amber was amazing. So patient and attentive. I got the tempura lobster app with butter (OMG) and duck wings. Wings were crispy on the outside and delish inside. Then I got the blackened scallops and again, wow.. My daughter had so much fun there and everyone was so fun. Really glad this was where we went our last night here! Anyone who said things were bad should probably reassess their life. Thanks Hooligans!
