We have been tent camping here for 15 years. Nothing much has changed and that's a good thing. Sites are fairly large and mostly flat. Plenty of bathrooms and showers (25¢ for 2 minutes). The lake is perfect for paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing and there is a sandy beach for swimming. There is a 2-mile walking loop around the lake too. The Dollar General store across the street has most basics for camping. The campground has a small store as well. Family oriented so it can get loud, especially on weekends. Generators allowed from 9-12 and 5-8. North Conway is about 40 minutes away and offers restaurants and outlets. Hiking the Kancamangus is a must as well. Bring sunscreen and bug spray!

We love camping here! There are a number of wooded sites and a handful of waterfront ones. We've stayed at both, and either is great. Easy access to the beach from most sites. The swimming area is excellent, and the view of two 4000fters from your beach chair is beautiful. Two camp stores. Nearby access to hiking. North Conway is about 30 minutes away. Highly recommend this park and campground. Reserve early (like a year in advance, especially for water sites)

Omg we love this place so peaceful and beautiful, it was my girlfriend and my second time coming, besides the bathrooms closing down where we picked a close site next to was a bummer but was still an amazing trip we love it the lake is gorgeous l. The waters crystal clear get a beautiful view of the mountains behind it there's a trail going around Lake but we went early this year half of the park was closed which was actually nice beach was clear, when the shop is open you can rent canoes knacks and paddle boats for like 10,15 bucks, prices might of changed from when we did it 2 years ago, but will Def be scheduling another trip soon this summer, also the woman at the office is such a sweat heart the whole staff seem very friendly, just love this place

This is a great day trip. This NH park has parking close to the beach. The water is clear and clean and shallow for your little kids. The views are beautiful. There is a beach store, clean bathrooms, and rentals available for canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats.

Favorite beach, camping spot, kayaking !
Remember going as a kid to family reunions here with lots of food and music!
Try to camp every year, try to kayak every year, the walking path around the lake is awesome, but narrow so only for the sure footed! I think taking away music being aloud to play was a poor choice...I am a local and this will always be my favorite spot! My kids have grown up here camping and beach trips so I am carrying on the traditions, for over 45 years!!

Beautiful beach, clear water, white sand, playground right on the beach, lots of picnic tables again right on the beach, lovely campsites, decent bathrooms, amazing night sky! Can even see the milky way! Loved it there.

This place is heaven on earth. Gorgeous mountain views, sandy beaches, water gets gradually deeper. Water was so clear and warm at end of July. Great place for kids - playground, sand to dig in, small store for snacks. I bought a day pass online which was convenient and apparently necessary on nice weather days or weekends. This is my #1 favorite spot in New Hampshire!

The lake is always clean. The bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day. Tent sites are always clean. Only problem were other campers not treating the area with respect. The wash area for cooking clean up was shut down due to an idiot dumping ziti in the drain. Then the next morning, someone put bacon grease in the bathroom sink. Entitled people always seem to ruin everything.

Love this place! We brought our almost 3 year old for her first tent camping trip and we loved it! We had a water front site and could jump in the water directly in front of our site. The beach was in walking distance, super clean and welcoming. We rented a peddle boat and jumped in the water in the middle of the lake. There's a store both at the ranger station with camping essentials, and at the beach with candy, ice cream and floats. The park is huge and well kept and all facilities were clean and well lit for night. We loved picking and eating the wild blueberries along the trail! We will definitely be coming back!

Great camping experience. Family friendly. Huge camping sites that can fit more than one tent. The lake was great to cool off. The water there is very clear. Beautiful view of the mountains.

White Lake State Park is such a hidden gem for New England camping! Campsites are perfectly spaced, with good amounts of shade and room for multiple tents and vehicles. Upon arrival, each campsite is cleaned and firepits emptied. Fresh water, bathrooms and showers are in good locations for each site.
The absolute BEST, is walking down to the lake after a campsite dinner to watch the sunset and listen to the loons. White Lake is a perfect place to create those summer memories for years to come.

Great park. Beautiful scenery!!!!
Clean, they have restrooms and changing rooms. Also kayaks, paddle boats for rent.
They also have a little store where you can get water, and some floats for kids.
Water is super warm (mid august)

I camped at White Lake State Park from a Friday through Sunday. What a beautiful park. The lake was crystal clear and I was in the water everyday that I was there. I also took advantage of the hiking trail that goes around the lake. Would definitely and hope to do so soon.

The area was quiet and beautiful, but lots of bugs so it is best to bring an efficient bug spray. The lake waters were clean and not too cold. Also had a store right next to it for any drinks , snacks, necessities, and floaties they would blow up for you.

Nice park. Glad I reserved a space as it filled up quick. The trail that looped around the lake was a nice walk before swimming. Busy but didn't feel crowded.

My girlfriend and I went there, it's your typical state park. Check in from 1-8pm, check out 11am, bundles of wood for $6 (2 bundles lasted us a night considering fires out by 11:30).
They have a nice shallow lake that the public can go to during the day til 8pm-ish. Then we went down and it was so nice and peaceful, so that's when we went swimming. If you camp there and don't like the crowds, walk down the path past the store and there is plenty of secluded spots where you can swim and relax. They rent boats (canoe, kayak, paddle boat) buy be careful when you go and rent. They told us they rent to a certain time and we went down to rent one and they had closed the store and rental place about 2 hours early, no sign or anything, it was the really the only disappointing part of the trip. Also be careful where you choose your campsite, in campground area 1 along the west side runs a public road, we had spot 80A and their map doesn't show it but there is a road not even 100' away from our tent, so we heard cars passing. Luckily we live on a main road and it didn't bother us at all. But I definitely recommend this place and if you can reserve a spot in campground in 3, in the "W" section, best spots, close together but if you have a large group of people it's perfect. Oh and the have all the amenities on site bathrooms and such. But if you can't live without dunkins, there is one right outside the entrance to the park. Happy Camping

Highly recommend that everyone visit this place! It's beautiful. The beach is Sandy and clean and the water is crystal clear. You can rent Kayaks and different kinds of tubes to float around on. There's plenty of trees and shade and picnic tables. The views are absolutely beautiful breathtaking. There are a few BBQ grills but not many and a small playground. It's a very nice place to spend the day!
