Muddy Moose Restaurant & Pub

This restaurant is really great and serves some of the best food around. We found it while we were traveling and liked it so much that we ate there two nights in a row. Everything we tried was delicious.

The place looks cool and different, and there’s a lot of room to sit. But it was packed both nights we went. They don’t take reservations, but they do a good job of letting you know when your table is ready by text or phone call. We only had to wait 10 minutes the first night and 35 minutes the second night.

The food is awesome, especially the salads. The kids liked their meals too. The kids’ burger is about the same size as one from McDonald’s. Our 11-year-old ended up getting the adult burger, which was just right for her and she could pick what she wanted on it.

At the end, they gave free Oreos to the kids, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed eating here.

My husband and I went for lunch time, and it was busy, but we got seated right away. The host was so sweet.

We ordered an app because we were feelin’ crazy. We got the spinach artichoke dip. They gave us so many chips and the perfect amount of dip. I got full off of the app because it was the best spin dip i’ve ever eaten. Seriously so worth getting!

My husband got a hamburger called Smokey the Burger and I got a chicken caesar wrap. I liked my wrap but oh man, you gotta get that burger if you go. I kept asking for bites.
Such a fun atmosphere and absolutely delicious food!

Stopped here for lunch. The service was very good- our server was on top of everything and was so friendly. I ordered the chicken bacon Caesar wrap. Additionally our party ordered the haddock sandwich, burger, cup of clam chowder, and potato boats. Over all the food was fine. Not the best food we’ve ever had but we would certainly visit again for the service and the atmosphere.

The atmosphere is amazing. The waiters are so nice and helpful. The food is amazing - I really enjoyed the nachos, the fish and chips, the rib rack, and the NY strip. A must try in North Conway!!

Super cute and cozy. Food is delish and people are super friendly.

Kids tenders were gone in minutes. Potato skins were huge and perfect. Shared the chicken bacon Ceasar wrap with fries. Probably the best I've had.

Of chili. My husband had the fish sandwich I had the ribs both were fantastic! Finished with the chocolate cake and espresso martini again both were fantastic!! We are from out of state but definitely will return when in the area. Thank you Joe for great service

Cute Restaurant. Very busy, but we got in right away. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient.

Good selection of food. Chicken and broccoli Alfredo was good. Sirloin steak and sides very good. Nice patio for outdoor seating. Very attentive server.

I ate at the Muddy Moose three nights in a row. All three nights I sat at the bar and had a great dinner. Teeny was my bartender throughout and did an incredible job, literally making one of the best examples of a kind of obscure drink I asked for (Red Snapper). This is definitely a restaurant I would recommend to locals and visitors alike.

This seemed like a popular place to go. My family of 8 came and were seated very quickly. The atmosphere was great, our waitress was awesome as well!! The food was great!! Everyone got what they ordered with no issues! The place is great for family’s with kids as well. Overall, great experience. Would definitely recommend.

Weekend in North Conway, looking for dinner on Friday night with no reservations with little or no luck.
Drive by Muddy Moose and took a chance.
Parking lot was full but we got right in.
Our waitress was great. We started with potato canoes(skins). It was 2 potatoes cut in half, loaded with cheese and bacon.
Had some sour cream on the side. They were great. Wifey had had the Muddy Moose burger(medium). It was topped with peppercorn, sauteed mushrooms onions and cheddar cheese . It came with onion rings. The burgers was a thick smash style, cooked perfectly,very juicy and flavorful. Real onion rings.
I started with garden salad.
Ordered full rack of ribs( big mistake) with rice as a side.
Ribs fell off the bone juicy and flavorful.
Not too much BBQ sauce on them, which is how I like my ribs. It's about the rub not the sauce for me. Both meals fantastic.
Purposely boxed half the meal to have dessert.
Ended meal with splitting Muddy Moose Pie. Consisted of chocolate crumb crust with Mud(?) Ice cream, chocolate drizzle and topped with whipped cream.
Was delicious!!

Final tally was $84.05 not counting tip.

P.S. brought half rack of ribs home and ate them Monday for dinner. Air fried for 10 minutes. Just as good as Friday.

A family friendly atmosphere but not overwhelming for us as a couple sat in a booth. Really fast service despite being very busy.

It SCREAMS New Hampshire! The food was absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed sitting right next to the fireplace nice and toasty. The service was great, and even though the parking lot looked super full, there was plenty of space. It was a great end to our mini trip, and we were blessed enough to see a Moose ironically after dinner in the White Mountains! 🫎

Traveling to North Conway and looking for somewhere to eat with a family atmosphere? Well, the Muddy Moose is one of those places that is a must on your local food itinerary. From the second you enter, the entire decor of the restaurant is styled with a mountain lodge vibe. This place is my wife’s favorite restaurant. I would recommend the Trapper Jack Sirloin which comes with two side entrees of your choice.

During this last trip, our server was a young man. The service was exceptional and he struck the perfect balance of attention and not being overbearing. We didn’t wait for anything very long and I was surprised how quickly the food came out (which was also cooked correctly to my request of medium rare- without being raw).

My only other recommendation would be to go early. The Moose isn’t a huge restaurant and it gets filled-up quick around dinner time. It isn’t abnormal to see lines out the door of people waiting for a table. If you do find yourself waiting though, it’s definitely worth the wait if you’ve never been there before!

We came here on what was probably the busiest day of the year, November 11. and ended up waiting for about 30 minutes for a table (everywhere in North Conway was packed on that day!) The place was incredibly busy.

That said, once we were seated, our server (Alexia) was an absolute delight! She was attentive, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. I had ordered a taco bowl salad for my meal, and it actually surpassed my expectations! It was truly delicious and flavorful, with crisp vegetables and plenty of warming spices.

Everyone else at my table truly enjoyed their meals as well, and we would very much recommend this place to anyone looking for a good spot to eat.

I have had dinner here with my family and relatives several times. The entourage is wonderful, and the food is tasty. We ordered clam chowder, baked potatoes, and pasta. The restaurant is family friendly. We had a great time!

had a great time! got there about 20 minutes after open, and for once, there was no wait! my muddy moose mudslide was divine and had a wonderful time. It gets echoey inside, so I definitely recommend sitting outside.

First time to the Muddy Moose. Went early for dinner, around 5:00. There was a 20 minute wait, but seats were available at the bar. We went for the bar seating option.
The staff was attentive and had great interaction. Also had good conversations with the other patrons at the bar. The decor of the restaurant was very nice.
The food was very good and the drinks were satisfying. Had some dessert to go, the portions were very large.
Would definitely recommend going here.

Great place, nice ambiance, seems popular with lots of crowd. We went on a Friday night. Even though there were a lot of crowds, we got seated pretty quickly, and the service was very fast.

Big shout out for the girls and boys serving at this place. They seem to be hard workers and have the talent to deal nicely with people as well. Especially making kids happy.

Food was tasty, and they had some nice home based ipas in the menu as well.

Overall, we had a great experience. Will go back again when I am around this place for sure.

Visited for a late dinner in early October. Visiting from out of state, found it on Google. So glad we stopped here. Very clean, great atmosphere. Food was delicious, service was friendly. Area is very safe, it's in a nice little town. My husband liked it so much he bought a sweatshirt.
