Very friendly service. The man who helped me had a lot of knowledge about whiskey and wine. I would recommend to anyone. I've recommended it to multiple people since I went yesterday.

Carefully selected wines from world renowned vineyards and precious family wineries. I have had well over 200 vintages from this store, each worth from two to five times the mark up. Not even Total Wine can compare in the price to quality ratio, and cannot even touch Piermont. Well worth the one hour trip to the gem of a wine boutique. I have literally left with a case or more. Nothing on the East Coast like Piermont Wines. This man knows wine. He knows how to select, buy and pass on the goodness.

When you walk into this store, be prepared to learn something new about wine and leave with something delicious. Jung is so knowledgeable about every bottle on his shelves and in tune with the tastes of his customers. I have had many incredible wines on Jung’s recommendation. Everything in the store is high quality--many small, family-run vineyards that make the short lists of revered sommeliers and wine writers. Also, plenty of organic and biodynamic offerings. Piermont is lucky to have this gem of a store.

We visited this store last weekend on a vacation from NYC. My husband and I lived in Italy and since moving to the US we have struggled to find wine we enjoy within my budget. The purveyor of this fine establishment made the whole experience of choosing wine, easy and fun and he was really knowledgable. We weren’t made to feel cheap for wanting to spend under $20 but instead presented with a range of fantastic choices and the one we settled on was absolutely delicious and I’ll definitely be going back for more.

I live about 17 minutes away and pass numerous wine shops on the way. To me the mark of a great wine shop is having the confidence to walk in and select anything and know you won’t be ripped off or given some widely distributed swill. At Piermont Fine Wines you have that confidence. Everything is so reasonably priced and a lot of thought goes in to everything on offer. Highly recommended.

The gentleman running this liquor establishment is very knowledgeable on his inventory which may seem like somethings that is obvious but it isn't. Very rarely do I go into a liquor store and encounter someone that knows their inventory so well. Also their selection of wine is very unique and they do carry a lot of wine from the State of New York which is nice. For now their inventory is mainly comprised of wine. It seems like, at least when I went that he had just started setting everything up.

This place is much less a wine store and more like an artist's master gallery. Jung is a master sommelier and you cannot go wrong with his advice. Fantastic curation and life changing wines. 10/10!

Amazing wine selection, shop local!

Very nice selection of quality wines from Napa Valley. Came in here hoping to kill some time instead of waiting for buddy getting a 3 hour bike fit across the street. As I walked in, was offered some Ferrero Roche chocolate. Goes well with Cabernet Sauvignon. Looking at the shelf, I felt like a kid in a candy store. So many good wines but which bottle to enjoy 😊. My field selection was the Prisoner, Hall, Heitz, Caymus, or Overture. After a moment of deep contemplation, decided on a 2019 Caymus for $79.99 plus tax. Grabbed a few complimentary chocolates on the way out 😇
