This place was filled with lots of great things! All kinds of gifts and funny items. I got a really cute pair of reading glasses and in the back, they had mead (honeywine) tasting. The girl back there was fun to talk to and the mead was interesting to try. Cute shop and definitely worth a stop!

I can't remember a summer when I didn't visit this shop. Some of my earliest memories are shopping in North Conway with my parents, and asking to go to "the penguin to see the glass balls". I'm now 54 & still love this shop. Great staff, fantastic gifts for every age & budget, and their front window displays are pure magic. I have a collection of their witch & friendship glass balls that I add to each year & display in my bow window.

I came here one summer while camping near by, exploring town me and my group walked in here just browsing and the atmosphere is very pleasant! I bought a key chain and I’m definitely coming back next time I got to NH!

Loved this store on the high street in Conway New Hampshire. They have such unique items as well. Bought myself a pair of cute gloves from here.

This store is very unique with a variety of snacks, skincare, toys, purses, jewelry, wine, books, etc. It's almost like a homey version of 5 Below. I would definitely come here and go in the back (if you're 18+) to the Rated R section that have some profanity themed gifts

We always go to the Penguin Shop in North Conway NH for one of a kind gifts! We travel all over New England and The Penguin Shop is our favorite!

What a great place to find the perfect little gifts. Wide variety. Great staff. I went back twice!

There is so much in this store ...I love it!! Already have many gift ideas for specific people.. Great group of women they have working there, especially Nona! She's been there the last couple time I visited and has always been so friendly and helpful. She is genuinely enthusiastic about their products which in my experience speaks for their quality.
The prices seem fair, the items that are a bit pricey are clearly top quality.

Something for everyone... I mean everyone, just go to the back of the store. Wink-wink nudge-nudge... seriously, nothing illegal, just adult-themed products that should be immediately out of reach... I really wanted to get the laser shirt!

This is a fun "touristy" type shop, with pleasant staff. They have local good, a wide variety of toys, home goods, hand made soaps and candles, jewelry, local wines and mead, you name it! Perusing the aisles here will certainly keep you busy for a bit! It's a fun shop to visit!

Every time I go to North Conway I need to go into this store. First of all, it is super attractive from the outside with all its goodies. Such an amazing little gift shop defiantly check it out.

This is a "must visit" store for me every time I am in North Conway! They have so many unique items! The prices are reasonable. The artwork here is so beautiful! I have a large oil painting in my living room which I purchased here and I am thrilled that they continue to offer this artist's work for such a great price! The Penguin is a great store to find a gift for that hard to buy for person as well. They carry fun items for all ages for all occasions! It is well worth a visit. You will be happy that you stopped by.

My sister and I stopped in here specifically to get graduation cards. What a great, bright, cheerful, sparkly shop ! When we got back to the card section we bee-lined it right to the graduation cards and each of us put our hand instantly on the card we wanted. Perfect choices. On the way to the checkout we saw the fairy garden table and the very perfect fairy garden house for our mother, a woman working there saw us looking and was so helpful with our decisions. We both love the store and will be back very soon.

I love this shop and always pop in to shop or browse when I'm in the area. Very cool items that put a smile on my face. I find the staff super friendly and helpful. They have been in business a long time it seems so they are doing it right. :)

Such an awesome, fun store! You can really find gifts for anyone here and I'm sure find something for yourself! You could definitely spend some time in here looking at everything.

My girlfriend and I were at Zeb's and she wanted to go in to Penguin. Glad she did. Got her a nice bracelet and necklace for our anniversary. Their inventory is amazing. Jewelry, novelty gifts, toys, etc.
