Latham House Tavern

Latham House Tavern is an amazing experience. The pathway up to the restaurant is very cute and perfect for pictures. The menu is made of all local foods and it’s delicious. There are also a good amount of choices on the menu, even some options you won’t find at many other restaurants (including a bacon wrapped meatloaf!). They have all local brews on top and have local spirits as well. The wait staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable making for an overall great experience.

Tavern with good beer and good food! Their service was the fastest I have experienced on one occasion when we arrived before 6 pm. After 7 pm it gets pretty busy on weekends so you can expect a wait for seating and food service. The rustic ambiance paired with hearty fresh food makes this a great outing for the whole family.

We went to Latham House Tavern for dinner. I loved the heated outdoor seating tent. The tables were nice, and it felt really cozy. The staff was quick, and the food was wonderful. The pictures on their instagram are what the food actually looked like when it came to the table. (:

I got the vegetarian-friendly kimchi fried rice, and it was one of the best meals I've had in the upper valley. The rice texture was varied, complex, and fun. The flavor from the kimchi and the sauce was spicy and creamy, and it blended great. I absolutely loved it. Fiancée got a barbecue pulled pork sandwich and also loved it.

Great beer selection and food. The apple berry crisp was delicious and the truffle fries are a must.

We "discovered" this little Gem on a Jeep ride Early this summer and what a treat it is. The drinks are good, the atmosphere is dated but not rundown/shoddy. I like that kind of thing. The Coconut Shrimp appetizer was on point and had a nice tangy dipping sauce. We had sandwiches the first time and all were amazing.
The second trip was last weekend and we were there a little later so we had dinner. The prime Rib was well cooked and served over the top of Mash Potatoes and also greens. We again had the Coconut shrimp app and again it was great. Drinks were good and they were also training a new staff member. Engaging and funny- great food and simply great all around. We wanted to do the outdoor patio space (which is super cool) but it was borderline too cold for how we were dressed. Definately a sweet little gem!

Food was amazing! They even had options for our groups various dietary restrictions. The gluten free burger bun was the best I'd ever tasted. Their mac & cheese was a hit with our 4 year old.

Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat! Great gluten free options, excellent cocktails and beer selection. Highly recommend.

Yes! The Latham House Tavern is opened. They have opened with a limited menu and hours. The menu was pub favorites. The food, all of it, was outstanding. We started with an appetizer of pretzels, with their delicious beer cheese dip and also gourmet mustard. We then had entrees, fish tacos and a burger. We also ordered side salads. The salads were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately they came at the same time as our entrees. But we didn't say anything because maybe we should have been clearer. Our server was excellent. We will be back soon. Hoping they start bringing more dinner options to the menu soon.

Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Fantastic restaurant with great dishes. You will not regret it. Check for reservations. Sometimes they are closed due to staffing issues. Park in back next to the Inn.

The food here is absolutely delicious. I have never ordered anything that I haven’t been pleased with. The fish tacos are high in my list of favorite items. And their risotto is also delightful. They get busy so it is wise to make a reservation beforehand. If it is nice out ask to sit outside as the patio is lovely.

This was one of the best meals we've had in a long time! Really yummy food - even the leftovers were delicious. We sat outside under some nice umbrellas and had very friendly servers. The setting is charming with lots of beautiful flowers and trees.

This was a cute place to enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly and the food tasted and looked delicious.

I have had dinner here twice and lunch once. All meals were delicious. The food is comfort food with a touch of class kicked up a notch. Also, they are farm to table. The meatloaf and the steak tips we're amazingly tasty. The Demi glaze was the best I have had in a while. The burgers we're great too. The atmosphere is fun and bustling like a tavern would be and my servers have all been great. Did I mention cocktails that make you want to order many? Delicious! Can't wait to go back!

Latham is a favorite lunch spot. Their foods are sourced locally and always delicious. Menu is mouth-watering from hearty comfort food to fresh salad options. Great beer selection and ambiance. Staff is incredibly friendly. It’s easily worth the drive from the UV. I hear dinner is on point too!

Great local tavern in Lyme. Lots of beer options on tap. Good food, particularly their hamburgers. Last visit there, I had the Thai chili wings which were delicious. Casual environment with friendly service. Worth the trip for sure.

Absolutely blow away by the meal here. I've spent the past couple of years having great meals in NYC, Boston, Portland and elsewhere and this was one of the best meals I've had in some time. The house-made pickle plate was a revelation. The cheese plate was amazing. The chicken pot pie and dessert that followed really sealed the deal. Doubtful I'll ever be back in this area, but if I am I'll be sure to stop in again!
