The Brothers Eatery

A simple diner that whips out simple dishes that leave you nothing to complain about and also satisfied. This is the place you go and enjoy when your bougiemeter needs a reset or oi yourself, like myself need a reality check from the bougieness of the cities.

Guillermo (pictured) and Geronimo, two brothers run this shop and hence the name. The coffee was really good and the pancakes and eggs were perfect and the sausage and bacon were the cherry on top.

We had lunch, the fish and chips were very good. My mom loved the bourbon chicken. Prices are decent for the current economy.

So many appetizing menu items to choose from! I ordered the Pulled Pork Hash and the flavor profile is really dynamic with the light Cajun seasoning. I was apprehensive that it might be too greasy but it really wasn’t. This is a great hole-in-the-wall cafe and a minority owned business, and they are committed to the art of great cuisine!

Had the Bourbon Burger and onion rings and it was amazing, GF got the bacon cheese burger and truffle fries and those fries were so damn good!

Me and my gf stopped here for some breakfast and weren't disappointed. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was delicious. My gf had the Homestyle hash and she enjoyed it.

What an amazing dinner! Burgers were delicious. Fries better that any fine dining steakhouses can offer. Great place.

Stopped in with my girlfriend and her son after RMS open house. We had quite the disappointing day at the fair soooooo! Our expectations weren't high.
Well! Food was great here. We asked for crispy hash browns and boy did we get them crispy! Perfectly done. Other places give you a slight crisp with the same ole soggy hash browns.
They did forget our side order of pancakes but the rest of the food made up for it.
Great place to get a meal.

Great food, great prices, great service! All in all, a great small town place. We love coming here for breakfast. Everything has been yummy.

No frills, great greasy spoon with great service and good prices. My bourbon burger was fantastic. Get a big stack of napkins though. They didn't scrimp on the bourbon sauce. Very tasty. Onion rings were very good too. Pancakes here are delicious and the combo came with 3 sausages instead of 2. Bravo! The "brothers" appear to be Ecuadorian; there is an Ecuadorian crest displayed up on the wall. You get a cup of ice and a can when you order a soft drink. Restaurant sits caddy corner from city hall in an old Masonic Lodge building.

Food was delicious. The perfect small town diner experience. Food that does the soul good!

We had a group of 14 people decend on them on a Sunday afternoon. They did a fantastic job getting everyone seated, beverages provided, and orders taken. They even checked back to make sure they had the correct number of items in process. Good thing, as one item was missed. Everything came out in a timely manner, from a single cook. He rocked it!!! The server checked back a few times topping off our waters, and cleared plates as people finished. Overall a wonderful experience and a pleasant visit. Food was great, with hot items hot and cold items cold.

This was our first time ordering from Brothers Eatery and we will be back! I used their online ordering, for pickup, to place my order while at my daughter’s volleyball game. The food was ready exactly at the time I selected and tasted great. My Juicy Lucy was amazing and my husband loved his fish and chips. This was beyond convenient and cost less than our family getting fast food. Can’t wait until next time!

On Sunday we dined at The Brothers Eatery in Rockford. We had a group of around 16.
The restaurant is smaller in size, but we were able to all be seated.
The food was excellent.
Since we had a graduation party at noon, my husband & I shared the 2 eggs, hash browns, biscuits & gravy and toast. It was so good.
Everyone else also enjoyed their breakfast. Would highly recommend this place.

The steak and eggs breakfast was very good. The steak itself was great for a breakfast.

Ate here for the first time tonight! The waiter (and I believe owner?) was absolutely the nicest waiter I’ve ever had! And the food was incredible. I ordered the steak bites and I loved them! We didn’t realize that we had to go up to pay until a few minutes after they were supposed to close. We apologized and he said he wanted us to take our time. We will definitely be going back soon!
