Opa Breakfast & Sandwich Shop

I love the fact that they're open for breakfast and lunch for the days I need to get a late breakfast or early lunch and lunch places aren't open until after 11. I always get their traditional gyro, but I recently tried their butternut squash soup and loved it. I'm definitely going to have to get more of it the next time I go just to take home. Not much of an "atmosphere" but to be fair a lot of places with a lot of take out don't have much atmosphere, but the staff are nice and have character.

I'm celiac need gluten free asked about grilled chicken the staff was very nice went over what they use. I had grilled chicken no issues .

Got their traditional gyro and Greek fries and the fries are really good. Facility is clean, staff is really nice.

First time ordering, found them on grub hub! Soooo good!! Huge platter for like $12 with a big chicken gyro, greek fries and a Greek salad! Get the Greek Fries! Deeeeelicious! Definitely going to order again!

I didn't catch the two staff members names, but by far the two best wait staff iv seen in years. The food is amazing the staff is a a+++ follow me for more food ideas

Food is consistently good (like homemade) and the service is prompt and attentive. The care.

I've been here twice in three weeks. Both times had the Gyro Deluxe - Gyro with Greek Fries and Greek salad. All the food was fresh, made to order and the portions were large. An excellent value. The Greek salad even had a stuffed grape leaf of top. The people at the counter and cooking are friendly and welcoming. Great, family-owned place. My new go-to for fast casual (and I'm traveling over the border from NJ because there's no Greek place closer to me that can even compare!

My husband and I love Opa's although we have noticed a small difference in the amount of meat used on our gyros now, we totally understand how inflation works. The staff are always friendly and the food is always yummy! We will continue eating here oh and please try the Greek fries they are delicious 😋

This is an incredible family run business. Consistency is key. I literally love this place. I also think it is worth mentioning, OPA doesn't only serve Mediterranean food. BEST GYRO, ETC.... but also makes incredible breakfast sandwiches, heroes, salads, seafood platters, etc. The only go to in all of Rockland.

Our absolute favorite for breakfast and lunch!!! We haven’t made it in for dinner yet but it would be our favorite for that too!!! Their food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and at a great price!!! Their service is always amazing too! We highly recommend this little hidden gem for both take out or to eat in!

Love this place. The food is pretty good and at a good value. They will sub out a salad for French fries and give you a good sized salad with good quality vegetables. The menu has a lot of options ranging from standard Greek dishes to typical Greek diner Staples. I order from here regularly and suggest anyone who likes Greek food to give it a try.
I'm sorta biased as I'm a huge fan of Greek / Mediterranean style food.
The breakfast food is also pretty damn good.

This is our new favorite food spot. This restaurant is one of three in the area owned by the same family (and we love the other 2 - Congers Diner and Pancakes Plus). Opa has great food and excellent prices but what makes this our favorite is the service. Sabrina remembered our order after we came back a week later (and the orders were not your standard fair). She is friendly, pleasant and has an awesome personality. Well worth a visit!

Great breakfast place. I hear the gyros are excellent, too. Homemade rice pudding! Owned and operated by the same people that run Pancakes Plus and the Congers Diner. Friendly efficient staff and cook! Try it.

The kindest most accommodating help when ordering over the phone. Always pleasant to deal and speak with. Food is exceptional and reasonably priced. Food is always prepared in a timely manner. In my opinion the only place to get Greek in new city!

We loved this place. The food was so good and the staff was very friendly. We brought 12 people which is tight for their place but they were very accommodating. Their feta salad was amazing and probably my favorite. My only disappointment was I tried to go back the next day (Sunday) and they were closed! I will be back when we visit family in New City again!
