Their friendly and compassionate approach goes beyond just veterinary care, it feels like our pets are visiting friends. We highly recommend this wonderful team for their warm and heartfelt approach to pet well-being.

THE BEST!! Each vet and tech I've worked with here has been so caring, patient, and trusting. They listen to every question and concern, never rushing through. You can tell they truly care about helping your pet feel better, and they take the time to educate you on next steps. I am SO grateful I found them!! I always worry bringing my cat to the vet, but I've always left AWC feeling relieved.

Dr. Kathleen Blessing saw my 9 year old Labrador for anal gland issues- she was quick, considerate, and explained everything perfectly. Definitely would return again. Sage says thank you, her problem is solved!!

The environment/ customer service is excellent. Not every encounter with the vet is a pleasant one no matter where you go. But from what I can say is that they care deeply and will do what they can to help your pupper/cat.

My dog hurt her front left paw. They got her in right away, even though I'd never been there before. They helped carry her from the car into the exam room. Fortunately it was a bad sprain and wasn't something that required surgery. They took such good care of my baby, they kept telling me how sweet and loveable she was, even being injured. I highly, highly recommend you take any of your fur babies here!

Best place to bring your fur babies!!!! Excellent and compassionate care. Adorable too. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had to go here to humanely euthanize my rat as many places do not do this procedure humanely for small animals. The staff here was absolutely amazing and comforting during this difficult time. I would highly recommend it here and their location in Oak Creek.

Great staff, did a nice job explaining what is needed for my two dogs. They treat them well and genuinely seem to care about their well-being.

I really do love the Animal Wellness Center. They have been seeing my cat since she was only 7 weeks old, and I have started taking our family dog there as well. They do everything with care and professionalism. I never have a hard time getting an appointment, and they even send reminders when your pet is due for a visit/service. If you need someone who cares about your pets as much as you do, look no further.

Where do I even begin. I returned home from Iraq at the end of 2007. I was newly married and needed some company while the wife was working. Introduce my first pup Cody. Needed a vet and found Dr. Blessing who was with Spirit of 76th in West Allis. She was and is still amazing. She opened her clinic when Cody died at the age of almost 2 due to unforeseen health conditions. Dr. Blessing opened the clinic and allowed me to leave him there so my kids didn’t wake up and see him. She did this after hours and she’s been in all my pups life since then. I have followed her from one clinic to the next and will continue to do so as she puts our animals well-being first. She’s a true animal lover and it shows whenever I bring my pups to see her. She is awesome at what she does and I honestly don’t know if I would have continued having pets if it wasn’t for Dr. Blessing and her staff. I know that when I bring one of my pups in, I don’t have to worry about them. I know that Dr. Blessing and her staff will do what’s best for my pup and they always consult me first before doing anything. She’s open, honest, transparent, and to the point. I love that about Dr. Blessing because I know that she’s going to give me the good and the bad and that’s important. My pets care is extremely important to me and my family because my dogs are a blessing to me and my family and for that reason I will continue bringing my pups the Dr. Blessing and the staff at Animal Wellness Center in Waukesha, WI. Thank you Dr. Blessing for all of your hard work, time, effort, love and so much more that you provide to my pups. When you have fur babies, they are your life and you
look for a vet that is the best of the best. Without a
doubt, I would highly recommend Dr. Blessing at Animal Wellness Center. We started with her at another vet clinic over 12 years ago. When we learned she was leaving, we knew that we would follow her to anywhere she went because of her caring demeanor, her willingness to go above and beyond for us, and because she is simply amazing. We have been with her through 4 dogs, 2 of who she was instrumental in during their passings over the rainbow bridge and we could not imagine going through that without her! During such tragic times, she was right by our side, honored all of our requests, was the most compassionate person, and made our grieving more manageable. She is so quick to respond to any question or concerns we have, gives the best advice, and truly makes us feel like she is part of our family. We would follow her if she moved 50 miles
away because she is that woman who loves your fur
babies as much as you do! We've had to see other docs at the same practice and also felt they were very similar in their caring demeanor and responsiveness to us. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Blessing and Animal Wellness Center! I think people need to think about all we’ve been through during COVID and these times that have been different in all venues. The clinic did a great job in ensuring I was updated after every visit and next steps. I also want to give a big shout out to Mercedes, Sam, and the other staff-they make you feel that they love your fur babies as much as you do!

These people came in a few hours early (we are talking 5:30 am early) to fit a surgery on a already full day for my boxer. And that's just one of the many extras they do. I travel out of my way to follow Dr. Blessing and her practice. I don't trust anyone else with my pets. She's upfront and honest and just great with her bed side manners for us pet owners. And her crew at the Animal Wellness Center are always wonderful caring and patient individuals. Always a five 🌟!

Dr. Kathleen Blessing and the team at Animal Wellness Center continue to show compassion to the animals while providing outstanding service and knowledge. I make the 35-40 minute trip for them to see my cat, as I am confident he is getting the best possible care in the hands of Dr. Blessing and her team. As the founder of an animal rescue, I recommend this clinic for your pet needs !

I bring my Labrador retriever that is eight months to this center. He is very hyper, but they have the ability to make my dog and myself at ease. I had a pleasant experience with the facility and the staff is wonderful. They treated myself and my dog like family. They use great tactics to calm the animals down and it was a speedy trip for all vaccines and blood work that we had done. Everything was explained in detail, and a treatment plan was ready for my dog at that appointment. I will definitely refer my family and friends.

I had an 18 year old Russian Blue cat who had heart disease, kidney disease, complete blindness and total deafness. The doctor was VERY honest, respectful, sympathetic, and very gentle in every aspect of our visit.
He had to put our cat, Stitchy, to sleep. We will definitely use this clinic again.

We started going to the clinic when we got our first dog 15 years ago. We also had two cats going to a different veterinarian and moved them here. The transition at the Waukesha location to Animal Wellness Center has been great. Everyone we’ve dealt with has been friendly. I was impressed with Dr. Dan when he let us know about a diagnosis, explained what was happening, and laid out a treatment plan for our cat. They are working with us and a behavior specialist with one of our adopted dogs. Everyone is patient with questions, which is appreciated! I could go on, but we’ll leave it at “highly recommended”!

Our vet recently retired and Dr. Dan and his team took over her clinic. This was a concern for us as fussy pet parents but we decided to give them a chance with the care of our lovable lab. We are now in the process of adopting a special needs dog and Dr. Dan spent a good amount of time with us assessing her health status and discussing options and we are very comfortable that he will be a great partner in her ongoing care and recovery from some very bad treatment. We are very satisfied with the care and compassion they have shown.

I haven't been using animal wellness center for a long time (just over a year now) however, I have been seeing Dr. Blessing for some years now and even travel almost an hour as she has moved to this practice. If you want the most compassionate, heartfelt, honest, caring doctor then Dr. Blessing is the person for you. On so many occasions Dr. Blessing has been there for my pets and myself and has pulled some miracles for me. I value her opinion and look up to her so much. She is truly an inspiration for how pets and pet parents should be treated. But none of this could be done without her amazing technicians and assistants standing behind her. Thank you Animal Wellness Center of Waukesha for always being there for me and my fur babies on the drop of a dime everytime. You are truly appreciated

My dog was really sick and they really helped us. Got him some medication that saved his life. Really great place. I will be forever grateful for the help they gave us.
