Everything was delicious, starting with the tea, the appetizer to the dessert. The excellent attention and atmosphere. They have a beer with a unique flavor !! I highly recommend shrimp dumplings and sea urchins

I have to say, just finished a little while ago, and with no reservations, that I had an absolutely wonderful time visiting Dai Sushi!

I need to share that it was an "experience", more than just a meal. It wasn't about food, but the taste buds experiencing sushi in a way, that I can say, brought nothing but smiles to my face!

Exquisite Sushi!

Loved it, and I cannot wait to return! :) Service was excellent as well... Not to be 2nd best, but I cannot remember ever having a better sitting, experiencing sushi before. You wouldn't be sorry to stop by! As a matter of fact, I'd say you'd be sorry not to ;)

Looking forward to my next visit! Hopefully very soon.

Very good service, the waiter was very attentive and keep refilling water and checking in. We stayed in the upper part of the restaurant with a larger party and they were able to navigate it very well.

The food quality was excellent and well worth the price.

I would recommend their lunch menu for sushi combos which ends at 3pm. Definitely a great place to eat at. Would recommend and go back to.

The name of Dai sushi reminded me Famous Sushi Dai at Tsukiji. It's, of course, not the same but still worth your visit and would not disappoint your taste buds.... The dining environment is good. The fish was basically fresh and well prepared. The quantity for my lunch order was also generous... I can see that it attracts a lot of local customers.... It seems to have seats on the second floor. I would surely come back to try some other orders.....

The food was fresh & delicious. What sold me was the spicy tuna & salmon rolls had actual chunks of fish w chopped jalapeno not mayo cover much like most places. The mushroom were tasty, tea was delicious. Definitely going back. The waitress were friendly provided great service.

Dai Sushi is one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been too especially in like a town like Pleasantville. I highly recommend it! The taste of the rice, the freshness of the fish and the overall meals available are magnificent. Call to make a reservation if available or get there at a decent time and expect a little bit of a wait for either dine in or take out. Enjoy!

Small but nice and cozy japanese restaurant. We came for dinner to celebrate my dad’s birthday. We made a reservation for 6 people at 7:00 and we were seated right away, despite being a busy time. They were also so generous to give us complimentary fried ice cream for my dad’s birthday. Soft shell lobster appetizer was a hit! I recommend getting it.

Excellent food and service.
We were seated upstairs where it was mostly quiet and private. Staff attended us right away and took our orders. Drinks and food came out in a timely fashion and everything tasted great.
Everyone was friendly, polite, and just had a positive atmosphere to it all.
We parked across the street at the supermarket and had no issues.
A positive experience overall and I will be returning here.

My new favorite sushi place in Westchester. The Chicken Katsu is my all-time favorite dish. It’s a small but VERY popular spot, so come prepared to wait to get a seat. But once you do - you won’t regret it. Obsessed and 100% recommend.

The staff are unconditionally quick, friendly and warm; the atmosphere is pleasant; and the sushi is always so fresh and delicious. Dai has quickly become our go-to downstate sushi spot.

Excellent, sushi! I've been there twice, and both times, the restaurant was crowded. However, they have a small second floor dining room. Meaning, don't let the crowd intimidate you from enjoying their tasty, wide assortment of fine sushi and other plates. They have 4 to 5 "itamae" (Sushi Chefs) and the orders are completed quickly and served beautifully.

Everything was amazing! We came for a date night ramen craving but also had a ton of wonderful sushi. Nothing was a bad choice and the staff were all super kind despite it being a busy Friday night. We'll definitely be back.

Legit 🍣

(The "rosy sea bass" aka akamutsu was on point, raw shiro ebi sushi was a nice find, and the giant clam had a nice sweetness. The "fishy" species like kohada had a fresh-not-overly "fishiness" to them - a good thing in my book.)

Enjoyed my sushi, the sushi rice was very very good. Udon soup also good.

Our local Japanese food place. Been going here for many years. The prices went up, but ao did the quality. A little bit tight seating for me, but I'm happy the business is doing well.

From the outside this place looks like a little house - looks can be deceiving.

Dai is hands down one of the best sushi spots in Westchester and rivals some places in New York City as well. Their fish is always fresh and everything that I've had here was very good.

The best sushi around - period. Fresh, clean - a little disorganized when it comes to making a reservation & them honoring it. Always wind up waiting for a table but the food is worth it.

A bit pricey but the food & service here is excellent. I've been to this place a few times. A perfect stop in the middle of Saw Mill Pkwy.
