Chester's Flower Shop and Greenhouses

I absolutely loved my visit! It was so peaceful, and they have an absolute wonderful and enormous selection of plants! Especially house plants! Terrariums, orchids, ferns, palms, vines, succulents, calatheas, bonsais, they have so much. They even have some outdoor plants for your gardens. The best part is they said they get new plants every few weeks! I absolutely cannot wait for my next visit. The plants are very healthy and do not have any pests. After looking for years, I finally managed to get a staghorn fern at a reasonable price!

This place is great. I’ve been using them for years. I used to order flowers for my gf and then she turned into my fiancé and now my wife and I still get her flowers from here often. The flowers are always fresh and the girls are always pleasant. 10 stars!

I ordered these flowers last Wednesday for my best friends moms service who was like a mother to me for almost 30 year on friday 11/11. Let me just say they were beyond my expectations. They were so much more beautiful in person than i could have ever imagined. I highly recommend Chester's flower shop to anyone who needs flowers for any occasion around the Utica area. The original flowers had some yellow in them so i called to order instead of placing online because I wanted them to supplement the yellow out for some more purples or even pinks as purple was her favorite color and garden Lily's and roses were her favorite two flowers. The 2 ladies i spoke with we're beyond helpful and sweet as I was crying on the phone trying to order these flowers and tell her what i wanted my message wanted to say she completely understood me even through the muffled tears. I just want to thank you guys so so much for what you did like I said they were beyond my expectation they were way more beautiful than I ever could have expected and I just thank you guys so much for making a horrible day that much brighter and better for not only me but her other loved ones too who when they saw the flowers instantly cried too because of how beautiful they were thank you guys so so much I don't know how many times I could say it I could probably tell you thank you a million more times. If I could give you 100 stars I definitely would.

Amazing local flower shop in the area. Staff are always super friendly and the flowers are as fresh as you can get. Many of the buds in their flower arrangements are still yet to blossom ensuring you get a beautiful display for weeks to come. As a returning customer I would recommend this Chester's to anyone wether its for a single rose or a beautiful arrangement.

I live out of state and needed to send a co-worker flowers. I found Chester's and placed an order. Within a couple of hours, a stunning arrangement was delivered to her. Sometimes it's hard placing an order online and not being from the area but Chester's exceeded my expectations. They have great communication, wonderful customer service and creativity was *chef's kiss*. Thank you so very much!

Huge thank you to the wonderful green house staff for helping me pick out the right plant to fill this vintage pack basket! The chester's staff is always so welcoming & helpful. They will be happy to help with anything from flower arrangements to plant care! Always a wonderful experience. We always get our Easter lilies here too! I would definitely recommend.

They have a big selection of flowers and plants that are very well maintained. Beautiful assortment of decorative items as well. The girls enjoyed seeing the chicks they had on display for Easter. Very friendly staff as well. Highly recommended.

I went to Chester's on 11/14 and I wasn't expecting much for flowers since it was very much not fall anymore. There wasn't much out on the sales floor however I was able to get a custom made bouquet and walk out the door within 10 minutes, I was really shocked. The customer service was AMAZING. The best I ever had. I will be getting my flowers from here and ONLY here from now on. Thank you Matt for your help! You were the best!

Having to make a selection of arrangements for a funeral service isn't easy. When we went in, we were helped right away. After finding arrangements we wanted, the clerk compared what we picked out to what others had picked out for the service as well, to make sure things went together or there weren't the same items bought.

This all went so smooth and easy. She let us know what might not be available compared to the pictures and what could be used to replace, based on what's in stock, the season etc....

Everything went great, we walked out happy and will definitely be going back for any future flower arrangement needs.

I want to thank the People who make Chesters Flowers the Wonderful flower shop that it is!!! Chesters is my go-to when ever I need to send a special arrangement for the special people in my life. They are so very helpful on the phone and give new meaning to putting the customer first! And their floral arrangements are magnificent! They work absolute magic with their arrangements! Had last minute prom orders and was greeted and accommodated with kindness. Was turned away by 2 other florists that both told me how overworked they were...not what I wanted to hear while trying to place an order. Chester's was super professional and had top notch customer service...and the flowers were beautiful! Bought beautiful annuals at this trip as well. Nice gift shop too! Thank you!!!

I called mid-afternoon on a Friday and needed flowers delivered to a hotel that day. They not only made the delivery on time the arrangement was spectacular. They suggested some truffles and they were amazing and the perfect add-on. Friendly and helpful and pleasant to work with. We will be using Chester's for all of our floral needs.

Chester's Flowers is a local family owned business, perfect for potted plants, cut flower and arrangements. Unlike box stores Chester's greenhouse is in operation all year and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Some prices are higher than average, but their flower quality it excellent. They also offer delivery for arrangements. Overall I highly recommend Chester's.

Chester's Flower Shop did an absolutely amazing job. I went into wedding planning with a set idea of what flowers I wanted, just to find out that none of them were actually in season! Tina and the staff at Chester's talked with me numerous times to discuss affordable in season flower options and to ensure they had the same vision I did for my wedding day. The floral arrangements were just gorgeous. At the last minute my fiance and I realized we didn't have a dependable option to decorate our tent and, after calling Chester's, they were up to the challenge! They strung lights in our 200 person outdoor tent and it looked absolutely magical. I would, without hesitation, recommend Chester's Flowers for your wedding day!

I live on the west coast. My mother in law recently passed away, quick funeral, and we needed flowers the by 11am the morning I called. Laura was amazing and we talked about something custom and she promised me that it would be beautiful and there on time. Relatives said they were the best flowers there - sent me a pic. And I couldn't have been happier. A big thank you to Laura for putting my mind at ease and designing the most lovely arrangement for such an important time for us.

The service and flowers were both, substantially better than expected. I was so nervous that my flower arrangement would not make it to a dear friend's funeral on time -- I should not have worried. My arrangement was not only more beautiful than pictured on the website but DELIVERED to the funeral home before the flower shop was even open. It meant the MOST to me. Thank you so much!

Being new to the plant owning world, I went to Chester’s today looking for low light/low maintenance house plants and advice on how to care for them. Matt was so helpful in finding the plants best for me, explaining the care needed, and repotted the Hawaiian Pothos I got. There were so many beautiful plants, I can’t wait to go back and get more!! I got married Oct 5th and Laurie went above and beyond for my wedding. I gave her general ideas and colors I wanted and let her pick the flowers and everything came out BEAUTIFUL. I got so many compliments. From the bouquets to the center peices, I couldn't be happier!

My aunt lives in Utica, NY and is going through chemotherapy. I live in Durham, NC. When I looked up florists in Utica on Goggle, Chester's received many wonderful reviews so I chose them. It was a pleasure speaking with Denise to order a fall arrangement to be delivered to my aunt. Thank you all for being there!
