love the brunch here. you get three courses, passed h’our derves and unlimited mimosas plus a dessert. All the food was top notch and clean your plate worthy. the champagne glass was never empty. there are big windows with beautiful views in the fall. otherwise the place has some historic charm. hate that it’s valet but other than that no complaints

It's hard to find a place as unique and beautiful as Restaurant X. It's homey and they have a fire place you can sit around or a big room with beautiful windows you can look out onto a pond. Staff is always kind and quick to make recommendations for food restrictions. The menu is small but it's still hard to make a decision because you know it's all amazing! There is nothing I've had on the menu that I haven't loved. Wonderful place to go for special occasions

New Year's Eve brunch was a beautiful experience. The service was superior and the food was excellent. Eventually, and with hesitation, we asked our very polite server to pause with the Prosecco and Bellini's. The service was so attentive that our glasses were never more than half empty. It sounded as if they were opening a fresh bottle of Prosecco every 10 minutes. The courses were spaced out just right, and everything was superb. As an unexpected surprise, Peter visited our table to personally welcome us after we were seated. The atmosphere was charming and welcoming. All of the staff were pleasant and gracious. We look forward to our next visit.

This was my first time back for Sunday Brunch in more than three years. They have changed from small portion passes to a more standard brunch menu. As usual, the service was excellent and the our meal selections had the restaurant’s special flavor profile.

The food and service is impeccable. We had a great time here, it was worth every penny.

Took my family again. Love this place. Excellent all around. The owner is amazing with my 86 year old dad from Ireland. Will be flying up to NY again in March for annual family dads birthday dinner. The Sullivan's.

A must for hudson Valley restaurant week. Everything was delicious 😋. We have been there couple times now and food is delicious. The celebrity chef doesn't fail.

Restaurant X is a very good restaurant. My filet mignon was fantastic. Also, my salad was good, the dessert was a delicious creme brulee. Service was good aside from a minor hiccup, which was quickly remedied.

We were seated in a dining room area with a fireplace with a fire! Very cozy. Overall an excellent dinner.

Amazing meal! Marybeth was the best waitress! Really one of the best I’ve ever had. Made the whole meal! Everything was absolutely delicious!!! Will definitely be back again!

Extraordinary food and service. The Beef Wellington was incredible and served with a delightful barolo-type sauce. The Yuzu & Chile salmon my partner selected was equally good with a complex, almost candied flavor. Service was attentive and kind. Lovely views available of the farm and duck pond that brackets the property. Not an inexpensive outing but well worth it for a special occasion.

Outstanding Valentine's Dinner! Delicious and creamy butternut squash soup with the cheese biscotti. Decadent. Delicious beef wellington with sauce. Amazing vanilla tea from Paris with cranberry scones! Awesome and filling red velvet cake.

An extravagant experience!

If price is not an issue and you're looking for an extravagant night out, this place is amazing. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious. Just be prepared, we only drank water and the bill was still over $140 before tipping.

Peter Kelly certainly knows how to make you feel as if you were in his home beautiful atmosphere absolutely wonderful food. We went for his October brunch which was a price fix menu and it was worth every penny.

Excellent food and service! The appetizers, meals, and desserts are all wonderful. I would highly recommend this place for a special occator romantic time out.

Excellent food. Been here twice with my husband and tried quite few things. Amazing beef Wellington! Thai shrimp or Ahi tuna from appetizers. Good cheese selection. Beautiful deserts. Definitely will come back.

From making easy reservations on line, to being seated on time. The service and food was AMAZING. Can't wait to go back. Also looking forward to trying the sister location X2O.

Delicious food. Endless mimosas. Phenomenal experience. Nelson is an amazing server! We’ve been going for 20+ years and Nelson holds the bar high. Can’t wait to go back! This place should be your next Sunday brunch experience!

My wife and I loved this place! The food was amazing! Everything from the appetizers to the desert was of great quality, great flavors, well prepared and the food presentation was great. The place is just amazing, we went for dinner in a thursday and it was a nice quite environment, not crowded. Service was just amazing, we were well taken care of by the staff. We have no "buts", we will definitely come back here and recommend this place to others. So far best place we have been to in Rockland County.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. While the restaurant needs a little refresh... the food and service was outstanding. The house cocktail list is always interesting, the wine select is great and the food choices and quality of ingredients never disappoint. The staff could not be any friendlier or accommodating.
