Nyack Diner Family Restaurant

Visiting from out of town, we decided to stop here for a good local breakfast before hitting the road. The staff was polite, our waitress was very friendly too. I ordered the Eggs Copenhagen, my first time ever trying smoked salmon. And I love eggs Benedict, so I was excited to give this plate a try. It was freaking delicious! The poached eggs were perfect. Sauce on point. And the smoked salmon was buttery and mild. Hash browns with onions and peppers 👌You should try it if you go! The coffee wasn't bad. I enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, small town feel. Nice work, Nyack diner. If I'm in the area again some day, I'll stop in again.

Well it's been a while since I have been here. It used to be called the Wooden Indian. I had lots of childhood memories going there and seeing that wooden Indian statue inside the front door. Times do change. The breakfast omelette was great. Coffee was great. Service was great. Times change, but the food and service remain good. Thank you for the good breakfast today. I hope the old wooden Indian statue is still preserved somewhere.

A pleasant alternative to the uber expensive restaurant inside the Hotel Nyack. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive and the food was hot and delicious. They weren't shy about refilling your coffee lol. A real diner experience. They had a brief menu of Spanish food which looked very enticing.

I love Nyack Diner Family Restaurant, very good food, excellent customer service and very attentive. Whenever I have time I will return to Nyack Diner Family Restaurant.

This diner is a hidden gem! It doesn't look like anything from the outside, but the food is excellent. My siblings and I were in town for a week and ate there 3 times it was so good. The menu is extensive, superior to regular diner fare. They have great salads, big, fresh & tasty. I especially loved the Palermo salad served with tender, sliced steak. I ordered a side of yuca fries with it; they were delicious- super crispy and extra good with the dipping sauce they come with. Great service, too!

Amazing food. Great menu. Great flavor. The service was amazing. This is a diner with a restaurant feel. Everything was fresh I got the NY deli Panini which was like a rueban and it was excellent.

This is a great mom and pop diner. They food is always amazing. The service is always great. If they made any mistakes they are always willing to rectify it. Come here often enough and the staff learn who you are.

Nyack diner is a cornerstone in the community. It is reliable, with staff that have been there for a while, great food, easy parking for nyack standards, and just a great diner experience.

I have been coming here since I was a little girl, back when it was the Wooden Indian, to Franklin's, to Hogan's, and now as the Nyack Diner.

I love their eggs and pancakes. Not much of a waffle gal but only here will I get one, occasionally, and it is so good.

Delicious and fresh. The staff are friendly and efficent. Great place for the kids, mom and dad, and the grandparents. A place for the whole family. Clean as a whistle.

Great place for home style food with great homemade deserts. I would recommend stopping in if your near by.

My fiancé and I stopped here on Thursday after staying at the DoubleTree down the road. I knew we couldn't leave New York without stopping at a diner and these guys didn't disappoint! He had a Mediterranean omelet and I had Eggs Copenhagen (basically think of a Benedict but there's a plain bagel instead of English muffin -- so good!)

If we ever pass through again, we will be sure to stop here for a meal.

Great food! I loved it. They shouldn't charge debit card customers 3.5 per cent. They should set it up so that people are not being overcharged for using a debit card because of the credit card and debit card Banks do not charge 3.5% for debit cards if you put your PIN number.
