Nanuet Restaurant

This place has been popular for pizza since I was a kid but they have really stepped up their game with the menu and quality of food the past few years. A great variety of options and daily special, plus lots of specialty pies. The pizza crust is buttery and the perfect thickness, and a large pie is enough for 2-3 people. The French onion soup is huge and full of cheese. The chicken and vegetables are always fresh, and the service is on point. During peak times, it gets very busy and is very loud in both the bar and dining room. If you want a quieter experience, go earlier or later than the usual 5-7 dinner crowd.

This has alway been a solid restaurant and bar. I’ve been going there for over 50 years and I will say the new owners have made it even better. The classic pizza is still classic and they have added so much more.

Everything we ordered was a hit . No misses at this bar.

I grew up eating here. It's been 35 years since I've been here, and it still tastes like I remember. Pizza is still amazing, and the people are awesome.

Having grown up with this place in the 70s, I finally had a chance to see it post-renovation during a rare trip to Rockland. Save for the neon sign outside I never would have recognized it. Totally different inside, though they’ve kept some mementos (including a few hats from the bar).

Place was packed with a long line on a Saturday night, but we snagged seats at the bar. No more pitchers of Bud—now there are several microbrews. The bartenders were friendly and gracious. They’ve heard the stories a hundred times but are happy to listen.

While all of the food going by looked great (especially the sliders), we came 250 miles for pizza. No disappointment at all, as it was the same as ever. A bartender told us the same guy has been making the dough 20-something years.

Happy to see the Nanuet Restaurant thriving. Whenever we’re back that way we will return.

We are just finishing up eating at a local pizzeria. We had a great experience at Nanuet restaurant. Our server, Vitoria, was fantastic. Super bubbly and greeted us with a smile. She joked with us as she took our order. Everything came out right, and quickly. It was all piping hot and tasted amazing! To summarize, we enjoyed our experience today. From the atmosphere of the restaurant, to our awesome server, rounded off with the great tasting food. I’ll give it a 10/10.

Amazing! Best food in Rockland! Service and staff are top shelf! We just had a party of 50+ and they made the entire experience so stressless and that's exactly what we were looking for. Many of our guests are still talking about how delicious it was, and they took food home for later! I can't stress my recommendation for this place enough, its everything every restaurant should be.

My husband, father in law and I come here a few times a month for years! The food is always excellent and the staff is always warm and friendly!

Chef Kerri does an amazing job on pasta night! Kudos to Jessica for great service, Nanuet is my hometown so when I’m in the area I’m always sure to visit this amazing place with incredible food!!! I’ll be back home soon!!

Amazing fried brussel sprouts on the stalk. Hope to see it again in the menu. Loved Octoberfest menu!

Nice cozy bar restaurant with terrific food and excellent beer selection. Meatloaf platter was delicious! Bartender was great and friendly. Will go again when back this way.

The food was excellent service was amazing but there was a loud group that made it hard for me to hear my boyfriend right next to me I seen waiters and waitresses ask them many times to quiet down a bit but it only lasted like a minute then it got louder again they should have been asked to leave after the 3rd time I seen many families leave early for this reason my ear are ringing for how loud it was will not be dining in again

Cant go wrong with takeout appetizers and pizzas from Nanuet restaurant!! They’re my go to for a night of crispy, fried goodness, whether I’m staying in or going out. Their menu has all the classics for a pub/bar but also lots of unique offerings and some fun twists on originals. Reasonably priced and always delicious!

Thin crust pizza!! Yes. I'm a new Yorker, and I get in trouble because it's about as good as a city slice. Full menu is impressive. Casual, unassuming spot.

Cannot praise enough, had a retirement get together fri.7 15 22, arranged it with Kaitlyn on wed 7 13 22, 40 people, Kaitlyn nailed it. Bartenders were spot on, food service was fast, kudos to them. Everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend! Kaitlyn accommodated us last minute and did a Great job. Baileys has an asset and a Gem in Kaitlyn,contact her if you want to plan gathering. Highly recommend
