Claudio's Tavern & Grill

I went for dinner with my husband last night to Claudio’s Tavern. We had the most welcoming and pleasant experience we had in a while. The team was on it. Both Malik & Alex were awesome. Atmosphere was cozy and charming. We sat at the banquette looking at the bar. Food was delicious. Lobster was cook to perfection and the crusted tuna melted in our mouth. I highly recommend their Prohibition cocktails, so good! They even showed us the hidden trap still existant behind the bar that booleggers used to use to bring alcohol in during those times. We’ll definitely be back soon!

My family and I booked a reservation for Thanksgiving night. We were greeted at the door by the hostess who was friendly and shared with us how the evening worked. Dinner was buffet style and included in the price fixed dinner, drinks were extra. (Which we already knew, it was clear when we made the reservation. However, we appreciated that she clarified.) The restaurant had sweet fall decorations. Our waitress was extremely friendly, as was the rest of the staff. Everyone had a smile on their face. We were made to feel right at home. The manager came around to great all the patrons and checked on all the tables. The food was delicious!!! The salads were fresh and lightly dressed. The biscuits were some of the best we ever had. The turkey was moist and and the gravy was hot. The apple pie and tiramisu were great as well.
Thank you Claudio’s for making our Thanksgiving night so special.

The food and service at Claudio's was incredible! The entire staff was top notch, especially their Manager. I can't remember his name (Eagle's fan, only flaw). Thank you for the wonderful service! We had family from out of town, the service at Claudio's made our Sunday afternoon that much more special.

Outstanding restaurant! We went for lunch and every aspect of our meal was impeccable. The restaurant itself appears newly renovated with gorgeous upscale decor. The service was outstanding from start to the finish. The food was the equal of any upscale Manhattan restaurant. The seafood, especially the Montauk calamari, local diver scallops and local fluke are the freshest and expertly prepared and presented. Very highly recommended!

Claudios Tavern is an absolute gem this winter! My experience at their Sunday Supper Pasta Night was beyond exceptional. For just $28, you get not only amazing pasta but also generous portions that left me happily satisfied.The cozy ambiance and welcoming staff added to the charm of the evening.The combination of affordable pricing, hearty portions, and a warm atmosphere makes Claudios Tavern a standout choice for winter dining. Highly recommended!

I really liked this place - we drove out for the day and stumbled across this place in Greenport bc we wanted to sit somewhere by the water; but I’m vegan so I wasn’t sure I’d be able to find something at any of these waterfront places that traditionally serve seafood … they had a sweet potato curry, lentils, and smashed Yukon potatoes that they made all vegan and was fabulous! Loved the low key ambiance and views and suggestion for the seasonal Greenport ale that was on draft. Will be back!

We had a group of 7 stop in at Claudio’s and we had an amazing experience. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of the water. I ordered the clam chowder and it honestly might’ve been the best clam chowder I have had. There were a great amount of clams & it was full of flavor. I got the lobster roll and it was delicious. Our waitress was fantastic!

Food is delicious. Service/staff are top notch! Very friendly & warm. I ordered the Goat cheese salad w/ raspberry vinaigrette (in pic below) & it was huge & delicious! Hubby had fish & chips & the tartar sauce was amazing. Beautiful original decor. Must visit if you're in Greenport. They have a bar in the front too. Gets packed. Outside pic is the view we had from our seats by a window.

Food was great, went with large group and everyone enjoyed their meal! Used to come years ago when family had a house nearby. Hadn't been in decades but the servers, food and drinks were all great. Nice place to sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

Great atmosphere and drinks! I would definitely return. I enjoyed the music and watching all the sweet boats/yachts pull up.

What a beautiful day on the South fork. I only give 5 stars to restaurants based on the total experience. Our experience at Claudio's was enhanced by our delightful waitress Brianna. She was instrumental in every aspect of our lunch. From wine(a local rose) to oysters(Montauk) to mahi ruben and chkn ceasar salad. The mahi ruben was a little messy for my taste, so I ate half and picked the mahi out of the other half, which is fine cause it left more room for french fries without over stuffing myself. The salad was refreshing.
Afterwards we stopped but the retired Firefighter boat, and bought a tshirt to support . You should too!

Despite being very busy, my last visit here was great. The wait time was shorter than communicated. The lobster roll--moist; the shrimp cocktail perfectly cooked and tender; the raw oysters were fresh; and the draft beers were cold. The service was to be expected for a packed house, so savor your meal and enjoy the atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I shared a birthday dinner on the water at sunset was fabulous.. Jason and malik were wonderful servers... We tried the grilled octopus, fantastic and shrimp cocktail.
My girlfriend ordered the breaded fluke I got Swordfish in a delicious, fresh Pasta and meat sauce.

Had a really fun lunch here. Sat at the bar outside to avoid waiting for a table. Staff were all very friendly, and the food was great! Had the lobster Cobb salad and blackened shrimp tacos — both excellent. Will certainly return when in Greenport!

We came for lunch yesterday and even though I haven’t been for awhile I realized what we have been missing! We sat at the bar and the bartender was super nice made great drinks and the food was excellent

The staff couldn’t do enough for us. A very delicious and enjoyable experience.

The old Claudio's has reinvented itself. Food was excellent this summer! Try the salmon - crusty on the outside & moist on the inside on a bed of creamy lentils & baby bok Chou! Delicious!

Love this restaurant, we have made a tradition go out here from nassau county every fall after some apple picking highly suggest

Amazing food and drinks the service was quick even though it was very busy. Love this place. It's a great way to end the day after visiting the vineyards and the drive is so nice and picturesque
