Kontokosta Winery

I am not sure why there is a bunch of negative reviews. But my boyfriend made reservations as a surprised and we had an absolutely amazing time. Wine was great. We each had a flight and brought a Cab Sauvignon. DELICIOUS! I can almost taste as I am writing this review. The view was impeccable. We got to see the sunset, so romantic. I couldn’t ask for a better date. Please bring your significant other, as we were entering a lot of families were existing and it seemed to me they had a lovely time.
The view is worth the drive, I promise.

Beautiful winery with a view of the sound. Great tasting set up. We came without a reservation and sat outside near the water. Entry is $5 with a souvenir glass.

Beautiful location. Great spot for a Bachelorette party. Lots of great photo locations are available. Beautiful views of the sound and property. Very good wine's and snack foods on site.

Beautiful ❤ they close at 5 and 6pm on Saturday. Definitely worth getting there early. The sparkling is a great thirst quencher. Beautiful scenery and beautiful view of the ocean. A must see!!! Lots of space for a gathering or small get together.
Worth the drive from Queens.

Spent a few hours here on our Greenport mini-moon. Wow, what a place! Had a beautiful spring afternoon here. Not crowded, did a flight tasting and had a meat/cheese board. Generous portions, kind service, and wonderful views! My husband and I had a fantastic time!

Love Kontokosta - friendly welcoming environment. The barn grounds and view are the best! We have been to so many wineries out east but this one by far is our favorite which is why we joined their wine club. Tons of benefits - really enjoy visiting Greenport town while there also.

Worth the drive for the absolutely beautiful staff. Very cheerful and welcoming staff. The viognier brightened up a rainy day — quite delicious!

This is easily our new favorite winery. An experience unlike any other long island vineyard. All the staff was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and the wines are very good! The view is beautiful, grounds are plentiful. It's a true hidden gem. It is absolutely worth the drive. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful vineyard! Offers breathtaking views, overlooking the ocean. Picnic tables available, fresh oysters on Saturdays (summer) call ahead to confirm. Nice selection of wines. A must stop when in the North Fork. Ideal for a romantic date.

We enjoyed the full flight of wines. Beautiful winery situated on a beautiful plot of land. Judy was incredibly helpful and attentive.

Our favorite winery! We’ve been members since 2015. Their wines have a unique flavor and the atmosphere is the prettiest winery and the only on the water! 🍷🌊

This winery is always a favorite for me just for their delicious Rosé wine/s. The views looking out across the Long Island Sound are just absolutely beautiful; by far this winery has the BEST outdoor views.

The venue is huge and beautiful. The wine is delicious. It's a small walk through the vineyards to reach a shore cliff with an amazing and relaxing view. I can not suggest this place enough.

We really like the wine from here. We came in the summer & in the winter. Both times super different experiences. We love the open field leading to the cliff view. The trees around the cliff offer a nice shade and the calm quiet in the winter is also alluring. This is our family go to, kids can hang while the parents libate in a beautiful atmosphere.

Wonderful day, wonderful wine and wonderful people. We will be back

Im not a wine fan but this is one of my happy places. Coming here is a pure treat and i look forward to it everytime.

Update 7/22/23: Field wine is the only wine I'll drink..... Period!
