Zip's Cafe

Quaint little restaurant in the heart of Mt. lookout. Seating is limited and is first come first serve. If you are lucky enough to find a seat you seat yourself. Atmosphere is historic woodwork original hardwood floors, doors, tables and booths. A train runs around the top of room on a platform with hand painted murals on wall of the surrounding town. ZIP burgers were delicious as well as the fries were crisp and golden brown. Chili was a delicious addition on top of the fries. A must try. Definitely will return again!

Every part of the burger was top notch even the sides of fries and onion rings. An absolute must try in Cincinnati for good reason.

Drove an hour down there, it was a Saturday evening. It wasn't too busy. Walking in right away you are taken back in time, swinging doors, an atmosphere like a cozy old home from the 19th century. We ordered some drinks I did head back through the bar to get to the restroom, little tight but adequate I suspect for the size of the venue. We both had the staple Zip's Burger. I really liked everything about the place, the food was great. Waitress was very attentive. Really well done. I think it lives up to the hype. I really appreciate simple places like this in today's day an age. You get to walk out modernity for a minute and remember life wasn't always on a cell phone. Anyways Thank You Zip's.

I've been coming here for 20+ years. The only thing on the menu that has ever changed is the beer selection. Might be the best cheese melt on a burger in the city

Local staple, some of the best burgers around. If your stomach can handle it, try the bratwurst-burger combo.

I was in town visiting from Portland Oregon and was sent here in a recommendation. I have to say that this was the best burger I have ever had in my life. The meat was amazing and was perfectly cooked. I will definitely be flying back to hit this place again….. and for Bengals football. Who Dey!

Delicious burgers! The meat is exceptionally tender and flavorful. I got a double Zip's burger and fries. The train that circles the dining area reminds me of visiting the restaurant as a child.

Garth Burger, loaded, cup of chili, loaded, french fries, and a large Coke. It's been my order, my whole life and I love nothing more than that meal.

Nostalgia has a lot to do with my review. lLile a lot of Cincinnatians who grow up in Hyde Park I have been going to this restaurant for over 45+ years.

Great atmosphere and good food. Beautiful old wooden restaurant with a train running a round the room. Very cozy! Good burgers and fries. The staff were very friendly. It was quite busy and it seems to be a local favorite.

Awesome place, awesome service and awesome food... Est. 1926..almost 100 years of continuous service in the same location. If you're in Cinci is a must stop for burger lovers..!!!

A Cincinnati classic in Mt. Lookout on the square. Famous for their burgers, chili, and, of course, the train. Nice little bar tucked away. Be patient, as seating is limited but your patience will be rewarded.

Busy atmosphere but it was fun, good energy, the staff kept everything moving smoothly. Packed but it had an overall bustling feel as opposed to hectic or frantic. Can't go wrong with a Zip's burger. If you've got friends with social anxiety with you, point out the train going around the top of the restaurant, it seemed to distract them enough.

Delightful “hole in the wall” neighborhood cafe. A little dark and dingy, but the food is spectacular. Great place for lunch, a beer after work, or any time you want a tasty burger!

Fantastic Burgers, Onion Rings, and Chili Cheese Fries. Food was great atmosphere was fun. Just seemed like our server didn't want to be there and could have smiled a little more.

Takeout order went smoothly and was ready in about 10 minutes! The burgers were great , the double was large and held together well. Onion rings are crispy and delicious.
