Go back 100 years and you have this tiny frame building community grocery store with one checkout counter and a deli that makes it's own regional favorites (ham salad, ham loaf, cake rolls, etc.). I drive all the way across town on a regular basis just to buy their homemade pimento cheese to keep my hubby happy. It's amazing the variety of items they can cram into this one little store. Very handy place to have in your neighborhood!

Fred's market has been a stable in the community since before I was born. This family owned market will serve you the best meats and ham salad in town. Pimento cheese is also great! I am proud to support this local establishment when ever I am in town. Thank you for serving the community.

Best ham salad ever. A good selection of deli items and always fresh. a little bit pricey but what do you expect for a convenience market. And also get Hershey's ice cream there!

Great little store good meat department

Busy and understaffed today. But the best deli in Lancaster. They have the best ham salad and also offer old fashioned bologna, which I haven't been able to find anywhere else in town.

The ham salad is the best! I love that my kiddos can walk there and I know they are safe! The staff is very friendly with them, even when they bring in change to buy 10 cent suckers! Thank you Fred's!

You can't beat the quality of everything in the deli anywhere in town. I bet Fred is single, he has nothing but beautiful women who are helpful as well working there !

Very friendly and helpful clerks in the store. The meat is delicious especially their home made ham loaf and meat loaf. All their meat is top quality and always fresh. I support local business and I highly recommend this g meat market/ grocery store.

Fred's Market has the best Ham Salad anywhere. Mom and Pop store. They also have Hersheys Ice Cream and more.

Found this little gem today! Reminds me of a cute little country store in Georgia. The people are so friendly and the deli is amazing. Try the ham salad, Amish potato salad and Amish coleslaw. Yummy!
