A nice change of pace! The German Chicken was delicious. I’ve never had a sweet/sour sauce like that before nor the way they served the cabbage on top. The staff was friendly. The German Chocolate Cake, fries, macaroni salad, and lasagna were also good.

Great food and great historic atmosphere. I enjoyed the German Chocolate cake and the grilled chicken. The bar is nice and serves traditional and on tap drinks. I enjoyed my Old Fashioned. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the downstairs bar. The building is historic built in 1812! The staff were friendly and attentive.

We have been there 3 times now. The cook is not a cook, he is a chef. Absolutely fantastic food every time. Wonderful service!!! Feels like family! Beautiful atmosphere. Such a gem to find!

Very small, quaint and homey place, with an old fireplace and really old pictures hanging all over. Really neat atmosphere and friendly people as well...

The food is good. The building is great. The bar was cool. But didn't see any ghosts. A very old building with a little history.

My husband and I stopped in here to try it out for the first time, since we were driving through. The food was great and the staff was amazing! We loved the atmosphere and positive attitudes all around!

Omg another little hidden gem in my favorite little town.!!!! So first of all the HISTORY in this place you know I love history right?!!! The service was wonderful but the food was even better. Such a cozy worm atmosphere. German food served. Like put meat on your bones kinda food! If you have not been you are missing so much. Sits Right on 22 in somerset you can't miss it there are only two roads in somerset. Plz use caution and yield to the right around the square!!! Plz stop depriving yourself of this amazing place.

I had their chicken in a bird's nest. Very, very good. I would suggest this nice restaurant to anybody visiting the area. Very nice staff, And very good food.

This was such an awesomely place to have dinner. Felt like we were in Germany. The service was great but she was a little overwhelmed as there were a bunch of people. You got to check this place out. We will be back. .

Fantastic local spot with the BEST French onion soup!! You have to stop in and try their Holiday Punch Sangria too.

The place smelled amazing, we only stopped for a small lunch, but we were nearly convinced to gorge ourselves by the smell and the appearance of the food. I had the bratwurst and it was fantastic, I stole a few of my buddies fries and they are among the best fries I've ever had. Service was good and it had great ambience.

Every time we visit is a great experience. Customer service is amazing and their food is delicious. Personal favorites is the deep fried mushrooms and German potato salad.
