Donato’s Trattoria

So pleasantly surprised with everything we ordered via grub hub. Everything was piping hot, delicious, and well packed - even on a Friday night. Will definitely be keeping this place in my back pocket. I thought my husband was an insane person to order veal as take out, but it was better than anything we’ve had at a restaurant in recent memory. Great local place!

This is a great local spot, they have rotating specials. The food and the service is always wonderful here. The pizza is also awesome. Go every once and a while or take it to go, stop in you can't go wrong.

Excellent food -- been going there for literally YEARS (even when it was in it's prior incarnation) and the food is always very fresh and high quality. There are some wonderful waitstaff, in particular Juan Carlos, who has been there for years. The owner himself is very friendly and outgoing. The salads are excellent, and really all of the italian specials they have are always good too. Bonus is great biscotti to end your meal with an espresso!

Got the mussels bianco and asked if there's garlic. The young woman at the counter told me she'd tell the chef to add the roasted garlic. It was so good and garlicy!!

Very calming place food is great. Great music played as well.

Been on a quest for the best pizza in Westchester. This is the first place I can honestly say is actually good. Good sauce, great crust and not overly salted. And the customer service (despite what people below reviewed) is top notch.

It's so nice to be back in one of our favorite restaurants after more than a year of COVID precautions. We felt completely comfortable with the tables very well spaced and the staff unobtrusive but attentive. The food is the same excellent quality we always enjoyed. Their app and delivery helped us cope with this past year. Love this place!

Drove up to Westchester for a day trip. Looked at several places in Pleasantville and Briarcliff Manor and settled on Donato's. Fair pricing, large portions, very tasty, and great service. Will be back when returning to area.

Nice little place. Not a lot of seating , but the food and service was excellent. There’s a good selection of appetizers, pastas, entrees, and of course pizza. The pasta dishes we had were phenomenal. The waitress was very friendly. The owner even came out after our meal to see how everything was. Prices are reasonable. Definitely will return.

The white pizza is fabulous and the short rib ravioli that they have occasionally for specials is unreal!! Relaxed vibe and nice outdoor patio. Service is always great too

The atmosphere is casual and cozy. The service is always great. They have a nice menu selection. I have been there several times and have absolutely enjoyed everything I ordered. I highly recommend this place.

In Briarcliff visiting friends and went to Donato’s on a recommendation today. We got pizza, pasta, eggplant parm, and a panino.
Everything was great. The eggplant parm was possibly the best I’ve ever had and the pizza was just great.
I’d come back here anytime. Good place.

This was our first time at Donato! trattoria and we totally enjoyed our dining experience!!!!! We had the Genovese Pizza which was delicious & a glass of Chianti!!! The service was wonderful and found the restaurant to be very clean!!! Will definitely be going back perhaps next time we’ll try something from the dinner menu.

Been to many pizza restaurants and haven’t had anything better. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back. Chicken Martini is amazing.

Been here multiple times since it changed hands in the fall. Food is amazing! My husband loved the Oso Bucco special (and he is picky) and the chicken scarpiello is fabulous. They bring over this amazing foccacia bread as a quick appetizer. And wait....home-made biscotti comes with your check! To die for! Very welcoming staff too! A must try!!

Great atmosphere. Have a chat with Phil hes a great dude. Must try the Capelini Capri. Great salads, pizza, and drunken chicken parm. I went back 4 nights in a row!!
