Greenport Laundromat

I needed to wash all of the sheets and blankets and figured it would be a lot quicker at the laundromat. I got to the last giant machine, fed it the 8.25 and nothing happened. I kept pushing the return button but nothing. There was nobody at the service window but there was a sign that they would return in 20 minutes. I thought " well awesome. I will never see that money again." About 20 minutes went by and the guy returned. I explained the situation. He looked at the machine, tried to figure out the problem to no avail, and returned my money in a very polite manner. I was relieved because although I wanted my money back, I didnt want to argue over such a petty amount. .... About 30 minutes later, I loaded up my blankets in 2 huge trash backs. They were about as tall as I was. I flung them over my shoulders and went to leave. The same attendant got my attention from acoss the room to ask me how far I had to walk! I had it but it was so thoughtful of him. I left feeling like it wasnt a huge chore afterall.

This is definitely a laundromat. Clean with friendly staff. 1.50 a pound for drop off wash and fold service with a $15 minimum. DIY Normal machine was $4.75 and dryer around $2.

Although the address says 38 Front st , it is actually behind the restaurant Ellen’s, more so on the alley. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Sm wash is $4.77 about 35 min, the lg is 6. Dryers are 25 cents for 5 min. Just wish they had more laundry carts.

Very nice high price but hey if we had our own washers and dryers I guess I wouldn't need them so I can't complain. To be sure, they certainly fold and tie and clean and just awesome everything. Yes, awesome is now a verb. Your welcome

Staff is very helpful, a majority of washers and dryers were out of service. Dryers take forever to dry! They’re $.25 per 5 minutes and you’re the loser getting your money’s worth.
