Specialty RV: Parts, Service, & Rentals

My wife and I had the best experience picking up our new camper today with the service guys at specialty RV. Gabe was hands down THE BEST! We’re first time RV owners and he made sure we knew what we were doing and what to expect. He even me understand the brake controller in my truck. He went above and beyond and we truly appreciate it! Everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful. What a great group.

Bought a Geopro 15fbs at an expo in Columbus and Kevin made the entire process easy and understandable. This was our first travel trailer my wife and I have ever purchased and we upgraded from camping in a rooftop tent. I explained to Kevin what we wanted and he did not pressure us into anything else. That’s what we wanted, someone to steer us close, if not on point, to specific things. I am looking forward to this upcoming season so bad. So Kevin, thank you.

We took our Wolf Pack Toy Hauler in for some minor repairs and tweeks. We had a pretty good size laundry list of things we wanted done to it which none was really major. We wanted stabilizer jacks put on the front of it because it rocked and rolled too much for my liking. So we settled for scissor jacks to be installed. They called me and said that the camper was ready to be picked up. So we went to pick it up and the jacks had not been installed. They wanted us to wait while they installed them we told them no that we would come back the following week so that they weren't rushed installing them. So I called Friday to make sure that they would be open Saturday morning since it was the Saturday before Easter and they said yes. So I asked about the jacks and they assured me they were installed. We went in to pick up the camper and went inside and spoke to a very nice young man. He went out to the camper with us and we walked through to make sure everything that was on our laundry list was done. And it was to our satisfaction. We had a couple of hiccups along the way but Gabe and his crew made sure things were done the way we wanted them. P.S. the scissor jacks helped tremendously!!! So thank you Gabe and your crew for making sure our laundry list of repairs were done!! Also if you have a boo-boo on your floor take it to them to repair!! We can't even tell where the gouge was in our floor!!

Gabe and AJ went above and beyond to help us in getting our camper looked at. After seeing it , decided that it needed to go back to the factory. After realizing it was a bigger problem than we thought. Just brought home and very satisfied with the repairs. Thank you Gabe and AJ for caring about your customers!!

After over 10 years of wanting a RV, we finally made the purchase. During our final walkthrough, Gabe was amazingly patient in teaching us all about our new home away from home. He answered every question and made sure that we left with the confidence to drive away excited about all our new adventures to come!

Specialty RV received my camper dropped off on a holiday after being stranded at Hocking Hills State Park with a broken leaf spring. They were quick in the repair the camper and had it ready for pickup on Saturday just a few days after being dropped off. They were recommended to me by the towing company. I am glad for the quick response and turnover of the repair. Thank you Specialty RV and your team.

Gabe did a tremendous job with my walk through on my new camper, the install techs were super, everyone pitched in to make sure I loaded up correctly and knew what I was doing! Would recommend Gabe and his crew in a heartbeat!

Great customer service. We bought used in the winter. We went from Ohio to Maryland in late July to find the AC did not work. My husband called and the service manager made it right with us. We took the camper up and they had to replace the entire unit for us. The service manager does a great job!

Purchased my camper from another dealer out of state, I took it into specialty for warranty repairs and the guys there did a amazing job on repairing it under warranty.

We recently bought an RV from Specility and had a wonderful Walk-through experience with Gabe. Gabe had been very professional and patient to explain every detail to us. For the 1st time RVer, we feel more comfortable and confident after the walk-through.

We were first time trailer buyers. You really find out about a dealer after the sale is completed, and with Specialty RV, we found that they are fantastic people who stand by their word and will do what it takes to make the sales experience perfect. We don't live in Columbus, but traveled a few hours to Columbus to do business with them because of their prices and the inventory they offered. The sales experience was very low-pressure. We were given the information and time we needed to make a good decision, and a price that was below what we expected to pay sealed the deal. When we came back a few weeks later to pick it up, there was a little exterior damage (through no fault of theirs) that we pointed out. They took care of it, and kept the trailer until we could get back to town again to pick it up. Kim did our walk-through with us when we were ready to pick it up, and did a wonderful job. She is great to work with, and does a great job teaching you everything you need to know about your new RV. In our case, when something wasn't right, she made it right. Overall, a five-star buying and service experience. When the time comes to "trade up," we will definitely be back at Specialty RV again!

We just bought a 2016 rockwood roo and our salesman was great. Mashuri took time to do alot of leg work responding to all my questions trough text and calls and worked very hard to help us get this camper great sales person. Russell who done our paper was great also everything went fast and smooth. Then for the walk through again Gabe was awsome extreamly knowledgeable wonderful adititude and very personalbe and was extremely helpful and a blast to do the walk through with cant think of anywhere else i would want to go to buy a camper overall glad we went to specialty Rv's

I saw some trailers online that I was interested in and sent them an email. They sent a super-fast and very detailed response. I planned a trip "Just to look" on Saturday. Jason showed us a few of the ones I was asking about, but then he took me to a Toy Hauler that I had overlooked. It was PERFECT! He explained all the features and walked us around, then we held our breath when he gave us the list price...and...WHAT? We could totally do that! He got set up with the financing side of things and I am now the proud owner of a Wolf Pack Toy Hauler!
Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and I even got to play with a puppy while I was waiting for the paperwork to finish up, no promises that Pepper will be there when you go, but she's adorable!
I got a great trailer at a great price and had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Specialty RV!

I pick up the trailer in a few weeks so I will update this review when I do to keep everyone informed of how that goes.

If you are camping at Hocking Hills or anywhere near Lancaster Ohio and need parts for any aspect of your camper, rv this is your one stop shop! So friendly and helpful and will save you hours looking in Walmart or other stores for what you need. Check them out! They are closed on Sundays.

Gabe did a great walk through with us on our new pop up camper...He went above and beyond with things we needed and getting us all hooked up... He was very knowledgeable, friendly and great service...Took his time and explained everything to us...Thank you Gabe....

Gabe and his team did an excellent job of preparing our new RV. The PDI went smoothly and he was extremely patient with our process for going over _everything_ before we drove off the lot.

All I can say is wow! Gabe did such an amazing job on my friends new wolf pup. Having done walk throughs myself I went with my friend to insure his was great and Gabe did not disappoint. You and I could have made a great team! Excellent knowledge of the camper, outstanding customer service skills and the camper is pretty great too!

This is our third camper from Specialty. Dan Kaufman, salesman; Larry and Jason, service, these three are the BEST! We LOVE all three campers we have purchased! Just kept getting bigger and bigger! Our 2019 will be with us for a very long time! Love our East to West with slide out. You will be very happy with these 3 guys, professional, extremely patient, very educated with all brands, pleasant, and extremely helpful. Would never go anywhere else...highly recommend.

Gabe and the crew at Specialty's service garage are great. I had a couple of warranty fixes and they handled everything great. No back and forth, they looked at the problems, said they would be covered and did the work. Repairs were done the right way, no short cuts. Will definitely take the trailer back to them in the future.
