Little known secret, Mr. Nick’s Brick Oven Pizza in Tarrytown has been our favorite down-county pizza spot for years. We never posted about it because it was a place for us to escape during crazy times. Selfishly, we wanted to keep it ours. Nick has since transformed our favorite down-county pizza spot into the most amazing Italian restaurant (still serving awesome pizza). We spent Christmas Eve there tonight with Nick and his beautiful family. I can keep it secret no more — the ambiance is beyond beautiful, the food is fantastic, the drinks devine, and the service is top notch. When you’re there you’re treated like family. For all my Westchester and Rockland friends and beyond, this is the place you need to try! ❤🥂🥰

I don’t often give 5 stars however, I think this spot deserves the high praise. They just reopened after a remodel and the aesthetic is lovely; bright, open, and inviting. Best location for “Za” in the area.

Come eat at Mr. Nick’s! Great food and atmosphere, especially if you’re dining indoors. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

The service was out of this world. And the food was really good .we were a table of 6 and we were treated like we were their best customers ever. Will be back

Just got back home after a 5 hour drive from upstate and all I could think about was Nick's Brick Oven Pizza. Right in my backyard and the BEST pizza and prices. I also buy their pizza dough to make my sausage bread for the holidays. The friendliest owner and staff ever. Always a great experience.

Our group of 17 walked into the restaurant around noon and we were welcomed warmly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The wine was very good and the bread and food was excellent! We had a blast and will definitely be back

Extraordinary experience with a large group. We showed up unannounced and they were on the READY. Best lentil soup I've ever had... and I have had plenty. Abi and Fabiola were amazing! I recommend to anyone - kid friendly too but definitely a high-end feeling. So warm and welcoming. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience!!!

We have been eating at Mr. Nick’s for the last 12 years and are so excited that they expanded and are open again. Now there is a bar and a sit down service restaurant in the back with a very nice atmosphere, excellent cocktails and an elevated menu. The back restaurant menu adds a little flair and complexity to the old favorite homestyle dishes that are still being offered in the front and for takeout. Dinner tonight was delish and service was great. Looking forward to trying more of the new menu in one of my favorite restaurants.

This pizza place is the best. I know people often say that about their favorite place, but I have literally gone on a hunt for the best pizza in the Lower Hudson Valley, and THIS IS IT. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and remember who you are and what you like. This is a wonderful spot with amazing food. Must try!

Went in today with a large group of friends. Abi was so accommodating and attentive. Fabiola makes an incredible espresso martini. We had a variety of items from the menu; pizza, brushetta, lentil soup, pasta. Everything was delish. Will be back soon!!

We enjoyed Mr. Nick's: the food was excellent, the surroundings were very pleasant, but, more than anything else, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were getting together with friends we hadn't seen in a while, and some of our party had trouble deciding what to order from the extensive menu. None of that was a problem for our waiter, who was helpful in making suggestions, and made us know that we were welcome to converse and catch up. The variety offered on the menu meant everyone could find something to enjoy. One of our party had an appetizer and a salad (mussels for an appetizer, which were nicely prepared), one had the Sicilian Ziti, which was quite good, another had a wrap, which was very tasty, and one had a pasta dish, which, judging by the gusto with which he enjoyed his dish, really hit the spot. Portions were ample, with a couple of members of our party taking home "doggy bags". People came in and out picking up their orders, and it appeared that no one is a stranger, with a pleasant greeting for all.
Altogether, Mr. Nick's is a good choice for a casual meal thoughtfully and lovingly prepared in a comfortable atmosphere.

Love this place. We went on a Sunday with 12 other girls for drinks and some lunch. Great service and great prices. Obi and Fabiola were our servers so cute. But very professional. And they are Albanian🇲🇦🇲🇦

Wonderful Halloween dinner. My wife and I both ordered pasta with pesto. The kids shared a plain cheese pie and loved the thin crust and sauce. Staff was great. Covid guidelines strictly adhered to. Everybody wore masks *correctly*. They cleaned the table and chairs before seating us. Definitely going back next time we visit Tarrytown! ✌♥

oh Mr. Nick's how I love thee! I've been living in Tarrytown for 10 years and when I moved here from Brooklyn, the hunt for good pizzeria food began. Thanks to the Holloween parade, my family and I stumbled into Mr. Nick's and never looked back. The pizza is delicious, their Italian food flavorful. I've tried almost everything on their menu from sandwiches to pasta and I've never been disappointed. The owner is such a great guy, even ordering for delivery is a pleasure. Thank you Mr. Nick's for being my go to for a taste of home, always reminds me of Brooklyn pizza!
