I had an incredibly positive experience with this hardware store. I had been to a bunch of other stores -- large and small -- looking for a replacement for a bathroom door knob set. No one could help me. But Ray took the time to search through catalogs to find my exact part and called the company to make a special order. He even helped me understand the installation directions after the part arrived. Best customer service possible -- if you're looking for a store that will take the time to figure out exactly what you need, this is the perfect place!

As a female who is handier than her husband and always seems to be the one in charge of projects, I've had my share of sexist treatment in MANY hardware stores--big box and mom and pop. This place is THE BEST. It's a small place and they may not have everything you always need, but this should be your first stop. You'd be surprised what they have in the store. Staff is always kind, extremely helpful, and most importantly to me, they treat women with respect and equality. I've never made a review on here but this business definitely warrants one. Keep up the great work, J&J.

I’ve known the owners for almost 50 years and they are the example of what customer service is supposed to be.
We all worked together for a supply company long out of business and they are as personable and professional then as they are now.

They are incredibly friendly and truly try to be helpful but I have struck out so many times looking for something.
Sometimes it's an odd item and other times common. It just seems things are out of stock often. But I'll keep going back because of the service.
