Columbus State Bookstore

A one-stop shop for everything a student could need; from school supplies (general supplies and for more specific studies), textbooks, clothes and uniforms, technology and devices, and snacks. And the prices are good!

I briefly visited the Columbus State Community College [CSCC] Bookstore, at 283 Cleveland Ave. [in the "Discovery District" neighborhood of Columbus], on 12-14-2023.

I had recently attended a half-day conference in the CSCC Center for Workforce Development [at 315 Cleveland Ave.]; I decided to visit the Columbus State Bookstore for a few minutes before walking to my next destination.

I had worked for many years at a different "college bookstore" in Columbus [the former Long's Book Store near The Ohio State University campus]; I spoke briefly with the "textbooks manager" of the Columbus State Bookstore about other "college bookstores" in central Ohio [past and present] and then wandered around the Columbus State Bookstore for the next several minutes.

I learned while visiting the Columbus State Bookstore that the mascot for Columbus State Community College is the cougar. I never would have known that had I not visited the Columbus State Bookstore.

Very well Price bookstore for the college students and everything you could possibly need to succeed in college they also have clothes which are made by Nike and the champion they are very nice quality and also they have low prices on everything very helpful to the student so they don't get buried and that I will be back

The bookstore has great staff that are friendly and always willing to help you locate what you are looking for. On this occasion they helped us to find all the required pieces for my daughters chef uniform. They were sold out of her shoe size but they provided a few recommendations for shoe stores that sold appropriate shoes. They have a great selection of Columbus state gear - sweatshirts, tshirts, etc and we bought more than a few.

Staff is always super helpful. I’ve never had any trouble finding what I needed here plus they always have fun supplies. I found glitter highlighters today, and no, they’re not required, but I’m taking microbiology this semester so, while they’re way past being needed, they might just be a little bright spot this semester when I find myself crying over 200 pages of notes.

The selection was great, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not sure there's much more to ask for from a university bookstore.

Has a better customer service and people are very friendly and helpful when you need something from the bookstore ❤❤❤❤😘.

Good spot to go to get your supplies for class. They accept financial aid and you can get subway gift cards and bus passes with financial aid here.

I love the Columbus State bookstore. I bought a Mickie Mouse Columbus State shirt. I have to rep my college.!

Campus was busy today. People & student's were nice.
We went to the book store it was pretty busy in there as well.
A lot of New Student's & Parent's getting books & supplies. Staff, cashier's very helpful & really Nice.

Staff are helpful and know where everything is. You can get almost all of your student needs right in this building. Something not really well posted is the bookstore provides gift cards for both Subway and Union Cafe on financial aid money it took me asking at the Union Cafe to find out about the program.

Alot of the classes include ebooks now but the classes that have the ebook as part of your tuition will have a lose leaf copy of the book in the store if you need the actual text book and it's cheaper than the Amazon or direct publisher price by about 10 dollars.

I needed to return some items and it went great. I always have a good time in here and actually started to go back in because I just want to buy EVERYTHING!! I'm so glad to be a CSCC graduate!I miss shopping at the beginning of the semester! Good times,😉

Not just Columbus State merchandise. They have a variety of items for sale. Cute little store to go look around in. If your close and want someplace to browse around would recommend checking it out. Only complaint would be .....get rid of the mask policy.....it's time! 🤪

Very helpful staff. In addition to books, there is a subway. They also sell columbus state clothes and gear. If you need some technology products they have some of that too. Lots of useful things here!

I was there seconds before receiving assistance without asking. Directed to what I needed and was out within 10 minutes with my item. Awesome.

Nice area with free parking.

You can find anything you want, and people working there are always down to help, and they are so nice.

My son and I were at orientation today. Every staff person we encountered were pleasant energetic and helpful! We are pleased with the experience and the decision to attend CSCC, so far. The academic advisor Nicole, you rock!!
