We went on Wed for the family style fish and chicken. The broiled fish was excellent as was the chicken. Fried fish was good, but for me the other two outshine the fried fish. Service was good, very friendly and prompt in clearing empty plates. Which, as a former server I appreciate. I would definitely recommend!

Had dinner there tonight! We did not have reservations so we went early! We got there at about 4:45, they don’t start seating till 5 and they told us we’d be sat as soon as the reservations were sat. Very shortly after 5 we were sat with a beautiful view of the water! Food was delicious! They have an awesome Saturday Special menu! We had the seafood platter! Huge portion, served HOT! If you are going for the prime rib, which looked phenomenal, make sure you let them know when you make your reservation. They were out of prime rib by 5:30 unless you had one reserved. We will definitely be going back soon! Thank you❤

My wife and I had dinner there and we both ordered the fried chicken which was made to perfection. We both had the house salad which was plentiful and delicious. I ordered the spaghetti soup which I never had and found it to be outstanding. The warm bread paired well with both the soup and salad. Nice touch! I ordered the fries with my chicken that were just the way I like them, thin and crispy. I had two bourbon old fashion sours with olives along with my dinner which were excellent. Our overall dining experience was 5 star. We will most definitely return along with highly recommending to all our friends.

Steak and shrimp was great. Potato soup was tasty, along with homemade bread, some onion rings and salad made the Blue Heron well worth the drive from Germantown, for the value. Reasonable prices and great service. We had Carlie wait on us and she was all smiles, friendly and fast. Thanks for the great evening.

Plan on waiting for a minimum of 30 min. We arrived at 4:30, 4 of us. Great service, the wait staff run their buttes off and are very efficient. The fish fry is really good!

I tried this place years ago and it was too busy and we didn't stay and I haven't been back till today. They do a lot of takeout business but we wanted to eat in so we had a minor wait as it was early. Only a 30 minute wait and we had gotten there just around 5:00. Later on when we left there was quite the line waiting to get in.
I think most people come here for the fish fry. They have an all you can eat baked and fried it's a thin batter fry and fried chicken.

Food was excellent. Staff was so friendly and bend over backwards to make your dinning a great experience. Old fashioneds were fabulous and if you have room for desert well it's just a must have.

Our first time at the Blue Heron. It was terrific. Definitely an old 'supper club' atmosphere. Great food, good drinks, reasonable prices. We all had filets or the special, prime rib. Really good. The dinners came with soup and salad. We had a reservation, our table was ready when we got there. Our server was excellent; knowledgeable and attentive.

Excellent all you can eat Friday fish fry along with fried chicken, french fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce. Great value and everything was delicious!!!

First time here, suggested by a friend. Had the family style fish and chicken. Has the Supper Club vibe, love it. The service was great!

Dinner with friends and my wife for our birthdays. Filet's were excellent, fried chicken was delicious, but the Sicilian steak sandwich was mediocre. Enjoyed haystack onion rings, salads fresh and plentiful, dessert Brandy Alexander's were perfect. Definitely will return!

Food and waitstaff was beyond excellent! We were on a Saturday and enjoyed the steak and lobster dinner. Very enjoyable! I'm a slow eater but never felt rushed. We certainly don't want to forget the beautiful view by the windows. It is truly spectacular! The only thing that you may want is to bring a sweater, it is a little cold for the older person. My husband and I will celebrate again soon.

Family style dining means that they bring your food out on a plate that you share with others at your table. If you get the all you can eat fish including chicken it's very delicious
You can choose if you just want a wing or a thigh or just a piece of baked fish. Yummy

The best fish fries within miles around. Usually very crowded and noisy inside though.

Great fish fry! If you love a great fish fry then this is the place for you. All you can eat baked and fried fish as well as fried chicken on Wednesday and Friday night. Other things we have had off the menu have been very good as well. My suggestion is get there early or plan on at least an hour wait.

What a hidden gem of a place. Can't believe we didn't hear about this place beforehand. Great Supper Club, atmosphere, service and spectacular food at a reasonable price. Very busy! Great fish on Friday night. Very hard to get reorders as waitstaff running around so much. Gotta get there early or go into a hour plus wait, but food is worth it!!
