MISSION BBQ

Absolutely a must for dining out! My son came in town to visit for the weekend and here’s our spread. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, bbq shrimp, slaw, fries. Just get a sample of everything and you won’t be disappointed. Also great selection of sauces!! Pricey ?? A little….. but just treat yourself once in awhile 🥳🥳

We have visited this place twice. Both times we have really enjoyed the food and service.

The food is beyond great! Could rate 10 stars! The service is just as great! The BBQ sauce is amazing, and even better, you can buy some bottles to take home. We love to go here. As a family with a vet, it is amazing to see a restaurant show so much support to our heroes in so many forms!

At noon, they have a special thing. They play the star spangled banner. All the employees and customers stand facing the flag.

We came here when our first choice of restaurant had a 75 minute wait. Boy were we glad! This is the first fast food barbecue place that we've ever been in. We got the moist brisket, pulled pork, and sausage number 41 as well as the smoked turkey and pulled chicken and every piece of meat was wonderful! The table had nine options of sauces, each unique and tasty. The meat was so flavorful and moist it didn't really need a sauce. The cornbread was moist and the french fries were crispy and delicious. The only thing missing was a better choice of beer, although they did have two options available as well as sodas.

The prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality and quantity. The decorations honor all those who serve, which gives this otherwise fast food atmosphere a nice touch. The staff was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back!

I was trying to think of a reason to give this place less than 5 stars on anything and I couldn't think of a single one. Food was absolutely amazing, every part of the meal including the fries. Service was great, everyone was working hard back in the open kitchen. Amosphere was awesome, I'm Canadian but I really enjoyed the national anthem at mid-day I think it's very true to the roots of what I believe this place wants to represent. Hard to believe it was a chain when they told me, I'll definitely be looking to hit another one next time I'm state side.

Great place for Veterans and first responders to eat. Great food and service. Awesome people serve all that come.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Jill from Mission BBQ, which catered our meeting at VFW POST 5716.
The meeting was for the MMVA (Midwest Military Vehicle Association) some of our members provide Military Vehicle's for display during Mission BBQs special events. Jill is an amazing individual that we treasure and look forward to working with in the future.

Smoked prime rib was excellent. Crispy exterior layer with great flavor, smoke not overdone, juicy & tender. Sides, cornbread also great. Bread pudding sinfully good. Loved the patriotic theme and pledge of allegiance. Much appreciated. The manager was great.

Food was delicious the staff were helpful and super nice. Took a risk and tried the ribeye and it was disappointing. The smoked meats were excellent though

It was my first time at a Mission BBQ. I've heard great things about it, and I decided to try it out. I had no idea that they play the national anthem at noon! That was really amazing. We ended up accidentally crashing a 100th birthday party for a WW2 Vet. So the restaurant was real loud and packed. I look forward to checking it out again!

Picked up ribs, brisket and a little smoked turkey this year for Thanksgiving. Best Thanksgiving ever! I showed up the day before and they put my order together right then. Try it people, but place your order a couple days ahead to make sure you're not disappointed. Oh and all the free cornbread you get is great in the morning heated up with butter and honey on it.

Such amazing food, service and atmosphere! I am so mad at myself for just now finding this place. One of my favorite BBQ places in the area! The Mac n Cheese is AMAZING, cornbread coulda been warmer but was also great.

Every sauce was amazing and had the “best of bbq” sauces in the USA.

A phenomenal local business that has passion for local police and military. Certainly admirable and will have my business for countless times to come!

This place never disappoints me and my family. There meat is so tender that my kid has been eating with pleasure since he was an year old and didn’t have many teeth 😀.
The staff is very friendly, the service is quick. They have limited options to choose from which makes it easy to order and the food is consistently delicious every time.

I previously left a negative review because the food was on the dry side, but in the words of Harry from Dumb and Dumber: “You totally redeemed yourself!!” My in laws are visiting from Thailand and we watched a show on Barbecue. I told them I’d get them some great American barbecue for dinner, so there was a lot of pressure for them to deliver on that promise, and boy they did.

My mother in law loves shrimp, which happened to be the black plate special, and that was unbelievably good. Perfectly cooked and great flavor. The ribs were the other favorite. So tender and delicious. You could pull the bone right out. Phenomenal.

The food really took me by surprise! Atmosphere and food reminded me of southern bbq. Service was amazing & so helpful. The bbq pork sandwich was sooooo juicy and flavorful, nothing could of made it any better! The ribs were mouth watering & tender; they’re a MUST if you ever want to try anything on the menu for the first time. Flavor was over the top; will be coming back for the ribs😊

Fantastic food - AMAZING brisket, delicious cherry cheesecake. Staff was super, very friendly. This is a humbling place to visit with the decor and photos that commemorate those who served and serve their country.

I'm a sucker for good BBQ, and Mission BBQ does not disappoint. I got the 3 meat platter, just so I could try as much as I could for my first visit, and that was the best decision of my life. The brisket was tender, moist, and melted in your mouth. The chicken was moist and had a beautiful smoke flavor, and the pulled pork was out of this world. The cornbread was moist and delicious, and the cheesy potatoes were the best I've ever had. No joke, if you are on the fence about trying Mission out, hop over that fence and go get it, you won't be disappointed.

I had an exceptional first visit here. My food was ready almost instantly, and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I told them it was my first time here, and after I sat down and started eating, they brought me a free apple cobbler for it being my first time here. Ten minutes later, they brought me a pint of a couple extra sides to take home because apparently the cook made too much. I had the baby back ribs, and they were fall-off-the-bone tender. Their selection of bbq sauces is great too. It seemed like a good mix of mustard-based and vinegar-based sauces. Smoky Mountain was my favorite. The only thing that could make it better is if they sold beer :)

First time trying after driving by at numerous times the barbecue was delicious the service was amazing. The staff was friendly. I will definitely be going back!
