Local Bar Short North

Great drinks. Great staff. We went on Wednesday night which is karaoke night. We had an absolute blast watching everyone sing.

I was visiting town alone and wanted a place to hang out and maybe meet some nice people. Local Bar was it! The bartender, Taylor, was amazing and made me feel like a friend within no time. The other patrons were a good time as well. This place was one of the more enjoyable bars I've been to in a long time. Taylor made a great drink - the "Taylor's Special" - that was perfect! I loved it!

It was a cute small local bar that was extremely cheap. Love that they had karaoke midweek. It's a very diverse crowd which is really really great to see in Ohio. I would totally go back here again if I'm in that area.

Great staff, stiff drinks, and a fun atmosphere! Plus the pool table and darts are a great way to pass some time.

This place…… Is incredible. Take your happiest memories of your parents/grandparents mid-century modern home and throw in a GREAT bar and a Poole table. PLUS there’s karaoke on Wednesdays. Take over the Touch Tunes and chill for a while. Can’t recommend enough. Just come here. DO IT.

Cool atmosphere and bar right off high street. Parking out front depending of time of Friday. Always fast Bar service, and they have 2 dart boards and a pool table. Only 2 restrooms though which gets annoying especially later in the night. Great place for drinks though!

The only decent bar in an awful, over-gentrified section of town. Amazing bartenders, great, beer selection, and a must go if you're in the service industry. One negative, which ties into the service industry thing; the lines for the bathroom take forever because everyone is just doing coke.

Luke was our bartender and he was freaking awesome!! We asked for a “fruity shot” he didn’t ask any other questions, just started mixing! It was the best shot I’ve ever had! By far one of the coolest bartender I’ve ever met! Thank you Luke!

Quirky, cozy, a bit divey in the friendliest way. Bartenders were really friendly. It's probably going to become our regular place to go in our neighborhood. Good vibes. Love the sign that welcomes everyone and rejects discrimination!

I've been coming here for years and ever since day one, they bartenders have really made me feel at home. You'll see a lot of familiar faces here if you're a frequent Short North visitor as well. Combine that with some solid daily deals and a karaoke night that blows the competition out of the water, and you've got yourself one hell of a bar

Sam and Nate are the best bartenders ever. All of them are great, super chill bar. Lots of great memories here.

I mean...When was the last time you actually saw a real life unicorn? That's right! Only at Local Bar! Their all you can eat lobster night is pretty dope as well. Just get here before 7 so you can get the Crustacean of your choice. Solid staff too.

The bartenders here are amazing and I have not had quicker and better service anywhere else. Courtney was absolutely amazing!!! Great atmosphere with great staff make for a good time!

Love this bar! Great beer options that change seasonally, fun environment, and an amusing women's restroom. =) They've even got a small parking lot for patrons.

Drinks were pretty good and it didn't feel too crowded for a Friday night in the short north, at least at the time I went. It's got some fun unique features like the waterbed in the corner and the free popcorn.

If you're looking for a chill bar to have great tasting craft beer with friendly staff look no further. This is the place to go.

great chill atmosphere. Pool table in the back 60s 70s style decore. great karaoke on wed. KJ is real. Nice staff too.

This bar is a great spot! I had a delicious cocktail and love their little couch corner.
