My hair came out amazing and the way I wanted it to be. My hairstylist Sarah made me feel welcomed and was the sweetest person ever!!! Definitely recommend her !!!

This was my first visit to CO.LAB Hair Studio. I loved the vibe of the studio and Lauren Farley worked some serious magic on my hair. This was my first postpartum color and style... my hair was dull and dead and Lauren did exactly what I was looking for! I already booked my next appt!

I have been using this group of professionals for over 6 years. About 4 years ago I found Cortney and I will only see her now. She is extremely talented at both color and cutting techniques and is the best blowout and styling tech period. I perform in a local cover band and sometimes like to experiment with different color and styles. I've had everything from fades to bobs to long hair and colors from peach to bright red. Cortney is an expert at keeping my hair beautiful and healthy. Everyone here is like a big family. The salon is clean, modern and carries great product lines. It is THE place for cutting edge styles and service in Cbus.

I've been to Co.Lab three times since their opening in October of 2020. The space is adorable and always feels clean! The staff members are professional, friendly, and do a great job of maintaining COVID-19 safety guidelines. I've gone to Sara all three times and will definitely continue scheduling with her. Although, I'm sure all of Co.Lab's staff are great at what they do! :-)

For almost a decade now, I've been searching for a hair stylist that understood *exactly* what I wanted, and consistently delivered upon multiple visits. I had my third haircut here today, and I can confidently say that my search is over. Lane Grimes is a great hair stylist, I highly recommend.

In general as well, CO.LAB Hair Studio is a very welcoming space. Everyone who works here is very good at what they do, and I don't see myself ever visiting nor recommending another hair studio in the Columbus area. Great experience!

I am a first time hair coloring client. When I first talked with Sara she really eased my mind about highlighting my hair for the very first time. She listened to exactly what I wanted and also threw some suggestions in there based off of what I wanted and my habits of actually getting myself to the salon. We decided for the first time on a full blond highlight and a root stretch (because I'm not the kind of person who DOES NOT get my hair done on a regular basis). It turned out AMAZING. It was very natural and blended and the root stretch was totally worth it because I could get away with going a while without having that ugly harsh line at my root. I've since then gone back and went a little bit blonder with a partial highlight. Even with this she still did a great job of blending it and making it look extremely natural. I will never go anywhere else to get my hair done. Sara and Co.lab are the best! :)

Shout out to Lane!!! He saved my hair. I was looking rough. First time getting my hair done or cut in Columbus and thankfully I made the right choice. I gave him some artistic freedom and trusted him. He knocked it out of the park. I have super thick and difficult to manage hair and he thinned it out and made it so much easier to manage. Now I can go to work and look more presentable. This is gonna make the coming spring and summer days more enjoyable. Prices are super reasonable too. Highly recommend! The spot is super cool and has very creative vibes. Will definitely be back to get another trim in the future.

Amber is absolutely awesome! I have been a client of hers for years and have been very satisfied with the professionalism and knowledge she provides. At Co.Lab, every stylist at the studio is always so kind and welcoming. Their customer service and professionalism is the best around the city. Anytime I’m looking to change up my style, they are always willing to provide with the best opinion on the process to meet my expectations. Definitely check them out!!

After having gone to the same stylist for almost 4 years she moved to Israel and I was lost trying to find someone new to go to. Luckily I found this gem of a place and Lane. You always feel welcomed stepping in, the salon is clean and ran professionally with an upbeat attitude, and Lane is great at what he does. It’s located conveniently, you are remembered by name and style, and it’s a great experience every time. Couldn’t recommend more!

Amber is the most charismatic and talented person to ever do my hair!! She is up to date on every hair trend I’ve ever thrown at her and so patience and accommodating. We have great conversations and she is amazing at educating you on your hair needs and delivering with amazing styling! The best salon in the city with great prices.

Kate has been my stylist for 8+ years and is attentive, knowledgable and professional - she will listen to your needs and give her suggestions with your best interests in mind while being kind and honest. Lane has been my go-to hairstylist for an incredible 10 years now! He has an amazing sense of style and an ability to give me a haircut that fits my look and personality perfectly. He's always been great at paying attention to the little details to make sure my cut is just right. Whether I want to keep it classic or try something new, Lane knows exactly what to do. I can't imagine going to anyone else for a haircut

This place is the absolute best. I have been seeing Amber for almost one year now and look forward to my appointments. She is always so nice and does a fantastic job on my hair every time! I have always been afraid of the salon experience. I am a biracial woman so my hair can be complex for inexperienced individuals. I always have services that left me feeling unhappy. However, this salon experience was one to remember! I feel like my stylist, Lane Grimes, really understood what I wanted. By the end of the appointment, I LOVED my hair. I am so happy to have a salon and stylist I can trust!

CUTTING through the red tape

No nonsense, honest to gosh haircuts offered here. Quality is superb: blades are sharp, stylists are stylish (but not too stylish), and the combs are confirmed disinfected with the mystery blue liquid (spoiler alert: it doesn’t taste good mixed with Goose). The people here understand me, my needs, and all of my individuals hairs. Lane is great…high quality at an honest price, especially when you calculate the cost on a per-hair basis (rounds to zero).

Also – no red tape! Better than the post office downtown that RUNS OUT OF STAMPS. These guys have never run out of haircuts (yet). Come here if you want a great haircut, easy experience, friendly stylists, and a smashing décor. Avoid if you prefer like long lines, high prices, and uncut hair.

I’ve been going to Co.Lab for years and have loved every experience there! All employees are extremely welcoming and professional. I drive from Cleveland to Columbus for Sara to do my hair. Each time I not only LOVE my hair but love the salon experience. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful salon with an amazing view! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. My stylist gave my curls a cut and color and I love it. If you have curly hair, I would highly recommend CO.LAB Hair Studio. I will definitely be coming back.
